Best Wedding Planner Ever!
We hired Ashley 1.5 years before our wedding after screening multiple planners. We had only booked our venue and most guests would be traveling from out of town, making planning complex. She was incredibly professional, had great ideas, and she truly LISTENED to our vision. It was a bonus that she runs the business and does the planning personally. All the other planners we considered had a great sales person but you didn’t meet with the person who would actually be helping you. My wife and I both have demanding careers, so Ashley was a lifesaver. She patiently guided us, brought us multiple options tailored to our vision, listened to our feedback, offered recommendations, and nudged us when we needed it. For 1.5 years, we never had to worry about what came next because Ashley had it covered. We met with Ashley 20 times over Zoom and 4 times in person throughout the process.She always gave 120% and brought a positive spirit. She was responsive to our texts and patient with our groomzilla moments. She also made long treks to our venue to join us for both the tasting and walkthrough, which was an exceptional level of hands-on support. The tasting in particular felt like a VIP experience: among 200 people we were the only couple with a wedding planner there. Having Ashley’s perspective on what food worked well was incredibly valuable and made the experience much less stressful. And Ashley didn’t just help with the big-picture planning. When our car wouldn’t fit everything that needed to get to the venue, Ashley was there. At our 9:30 a.m. rehearsal, she was there herding the chaos. Even my best man, a business owner with high expectations, commented on how on top of everything she was. On the wedding day, our family could relax and not worry about a thing because Ashley had it handled. While the venue and vendors were handling their own pieces, Ashley jumped in and helped with the remaining setup, making sure all of the details came together seamlessly. On the day of, I was incredibly nervous about my vows, so I asked Ashley to read them. She told me, “It’s perfect,” with a tear in her eye, which immediately put me at ease. Throughout the day, she checked in on us while we were getting ready, helped me pull off a surprise gift, bustled my wife’s gown and helped remove her veil for the reception, and somehow managed all of the countless details behind the scenes while allowing us to simply enjoy our wedding. At the end of the event, the chaotic teardown looked overwhelming and to this day I don’t know how she pulled it all off. She even convinced the florist to help us box up flowers to take home. The best part was hearing multiple guests each say things like, “Ashley is amazing” and “I need an Ashley.” She probably would have secured two more clients that day if they lived in Colorado! We also repeatedly heard, “That was the best wedding” and “That was the best ceremony,” which meant so much to us. We could not have pulled off our wedding and the vision we had for it without Ashley. Beyond being an exceptional wedding planner, she is someone we genuinely enjoyed getting to know. We were sad when the wedding was over and we no longer had an excuse to work with her. If you are looking for a wedding planner, hire Ashley. She is organized, responsive, thoughtful, hardworking, and genuinely invested in making your wedding everything you want it to be. We could not recommend her more highly.

My Fairy Godmother
From the moment we started working with Ashley and OliveBlack Events, we were impressed by her timely, positive, and supportive communication style. Ashley is incredibly direct in her approach, providing us with the reassurance and help we needed throughout the wedding planning process. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and she delivered fantastic work that exceeded our expectations. When my husband mentioned that he had saved a napkin from our first date, Ashley jumped into action to ensure it was incorporated into the dinner table setting. Ashley flawlessly directed all the vendors on the day of our wedding and offered us constant reassurance even as the weather started to turn. Ashley truly felt like a friend, caring deeply about every aspect of our special day and working tirelessly to bring our vision to life. We are so grateful for the wonderful experience OliveBlack Events provided, and we highly recommend Ashley to any (and every) couple planning their wedding.

I would trust Ashley with my life
Ashley was such an incredible part of my wedding. I am so grateful we hired her. She really helped me feel calm the weeks leading up to the wedding, and took a lot of stress off my plate. On the actual wedding day, she was everywhere at once, handling big and small details, and made sure to periodically check in with me to make sure I was doing okay. The day ended up being truly the best day of my life, and I know for certain it would not have been if Ashley wasn't there. My mom, my husband, my best friends all agree - she was so so great. Also my family is extremely overwhelming and opinionated and she handled everyone so professionally and warmly.

I would give six stars if possible!
I brag to all of my friends about how wonderful working with Ashley at OliveBlack was! Her communication was always clear, timely and detail oriented, which made the planning process so much smoother and enjoyable! She was incredibly organized, creative and compassionate throughout the process, providing a structured yet fun experience. Our planner, Ashley, showed up to every vendor meeting, helping to guide our decisions, and even provided a vision board to bring our perfect day to life! OliveBlack Events made wedding planning an enjoyable and truly a stress free experience, and we're so grateful for her hard work in making our special day truly unforgettable!

Ashley made our wedding unforgettable!
We chose Ashley for her incredible eye for detail and how she immediately took the stress off our shoulders. She was always honest, timely, and available whenever we needed her. Ashley made our wedding day run more smoothly than we ever imagined, and many of our guests said they'd want her for their own weddings! She handled everything behind the scenes, asking the right questions so we didn’t have to worry. When things didn’t go as planned with vendors or the venue, Ashley was on top of it, making sure we could relax. We highly recommend her for anyone looking for a stress-free wedding experience!
