Hey there! I’m Rachel, founder and principal planner at RVE, and I’m not your average wedding planner. I launched my planning company in 2022 from the mountains of Vermont, after years in the wedding industry learning, growing, and honing my craft. Around here, we do things a little differently. I believe wedding planning should feel like a celebration, not a stress test—and that’s where my signature style of laid-back luxury comes in!
So, what is laid-back luxury? It’s the sweet spot between elevated and effortless. It’s the magic of feeling calm, confident, and completely yourself throughout the planning process. It’s expert guidance without the overwhelm, refined details without the fuss, and a beautifully intentional wedding day that still feels like you. Best wedding planner ever!!
TLDR: Hire Rachel, she is excellent at her job and will make all your event dreams come true! Throughout the year leading up to my wedding, the question I got the most was “is the wedding planning stressful?” And my reply, every single time, was “no, because I have the most amazing wedding planner.” I cannot recommend Rachel Vitagliano Events enough. She planned our wedding, which was a double feature including a picnic ceremony at the lake in the morning followed by an 80s Prom reception in the evening. Two very different vibes, a lot to coordinate, plan, and decorate, and Rachel and her team went above and beyond every step of the way. We had meetings every couple months throughout the year, and Rachel always had an answer to every question, never missing a beat. She has an online portal that made organization easy and pleasant. She has amazing ideas and vision. Any time I got overwhelmed, she was immediately able to ease my concerns and I felt so much better after every time we spoke. For the Prom reception, that took place at the City Hall, the only thing we gave her was a color scheme and a Pinterest board. From that she created a mesmerizing portal through time that made every single guests’ jaws drop. People could not stop talking about how amazing it looked. For reference, see the pictures below – the sparkling, dreamlike Prom compared to how it looked the NEXT DAY, set up for a local vote. These photos are also a testament to how fast and thorough her team’s clean up was! The fire alarm even went off in the middle of the reception, and I had no idea that Rachel spent almost an hour trouble shooting and dealing with the fire department (there was no fire). I didn’t even know this was going on—she goes above and beyond to deal with the stress so that her clients have the perfect time. Rachel brought all of our dreams to life and somehow made them even better than we imagined. She is so incredibly good at every aspect of her job. My wedding was perfect and an absolute dream, in large part because of Rachel. Hiring her will be the best decision you could make for your event planning!!

The Best!
If you're considering hiring Rachel, stop searching and book her. We can honestly say that our wedding weekend would not have been the same without her. Rachel was involved not only in our wedding day, but also our welcome party and rehearsal dinner, and every event was executed flawlessly. She helped create a seamless experience from the moment guests arrived through the final dance of the wedding weekend. Knowing she was managing every detail allowed us to truly relax and enjoy the celebration with our family and friends. Throughout the planning process, Rachel was an incredible resource, always responsive, thoughtful, proactive, and solutions-oriented. No question was too small, and no challenge ever seemed to rattle her. She anticipated needs before they arose and consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. What impressed us most was her dedication and genuine investment in our experience. We always felt like we were in the best hands. The entire weekend exceeded our expectations, and so much of that is thanks to Rachel's hard work, expertise, and care. We are endlessly grateful for everything she did and would recommend her without hesitation to any couple looking for a planner who is organized, talented, calm, and truly exceptional at what she does!

A Wonderful Day of Coordinator
From the moment we started working with Rachel Vitagliano Events, we knew we were in good hands. Rachel was very responsive, friendly, and easy to work with throughout the entire planning process. While we did not have her insight for the entirety of planning, she was wonderful to answer questions and thought of many things we had not! Her professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail were invaluable - She made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing on our wedding day & allowed us to simply enjoy ourselves and take in all the special moments. We cannot recommend Rachel Vitagliano Events enough - she is sweet, lovely, and truly made our wedding day run so smoothly.

Every time I talk to friends I say hire a coordinator!! I could not have done it without Rachel. Our venue unexpectedly fell through and Rachel was my voice of reason and quickly jumped all of the hurdles to secure us another venue. On wedding weekend, Rachel and Carly were a great point of contact for guests, vendors, bridal party etc. I did not feel an ounce of stress, everything went so smoothly. They made sure I was happy, fed, held my dress, my flowers, my champagne, truly went above and beyond. If you’re on the fence about hiring a coordinator, do it!!!

Wow, I would recommend Rachel 10 times over! Everyone at the wedding was so impressed by her professionalism and beautiful design work. She and her assistant worked tirelessly to help coordinate and have everything run smoothly. I am still in absolute awe of how beautifully everything came together! A lot of my decor was more DIY, and Rachel made everything look even better than I could have ever hoped! Her taste and attention to details shined through in every way, and myself and my spouse didn't have to worry about a thing on our day!! If you're thinking about it, book her!!
