About this venue
The city’s original, locally-owned boutique since 2004, the Jupiter Hotel recently expanded with the newly built Jupiter NEXT. Every space at The Jupiter offers an opportunity to creatively curate the Portland wedding experience meant for you. Rich outdoor lushness to a modern industrial ballroom, a secret garden and an urban oasis - our spaces transform to be uniquely your own. We had the perfect October wedding here!
We just celebrated the most perfect wedding at Jupiter NEXT. This team made our wedding planning and the big day itself stress-free and magical. The true heroes of our experience were Callie and Fernando. From the very first inquiry to the final planning meeting, Callie’s coordination was phenomenal. She is detail-oriented, incredibly responsive, and genuinely cared about translating our scattered vision into a cohesive, stunning reality. She navigated vendor communication and timeline creation with such grace that we felt entirely relaxed during the months leading up to the wedding. Callie is the reason the planning felt fun and never overwhelming. When the wedding day arrived, Fernando took over with flawless day-of execution. Everything from setting up the ceremony space and the room flip was executed seamlessly and quietly. We kept hearing from our guests that the timeline was smooth and the service staff was exceptional. If there were any logistical issues behind the scenes, Fernando handled them before they ever reached us. He was a picture of calm and professionalism, allowing us to simply enjoy every moment without a single worry. The Jupiter NEXT space itself is chic and stunning, with a hint of industrial. When combined with the dedication of Callie and Fernando, this venue is truly unstoppable. I would definitely recommend getting a room block, too. The front desk staff was so attentive and lovely all weekend! Five stars are simply not enough. We highly recommend NEXT to any couple looking for an unforgettable, perfectly executed wedding day!

I cannot imagine a better place than the Jupiter Next second floor for our welcome dinner, ceremony/reception, and post-wedding brunch. 108 guests attended the wedding and the entire floor with patio was plenty of space. We are so thankful to Callie and Fernando who are truly amazing at what they do. Not only did the space not require a lot of extra decor, the hotel provides linens, A/V, tables, chairs. We required no rentals. We got our beer/wine from Costco and the hotel’s bartenders provided service by the hour. We were able to DIY/prep flowers from Costco as we had access to the space all weekend. Guests from out of town mingled in the lobby and common spaces all weekend. It was like the convenience of a hotel wedding plus the character and vibes of a cool local spot, all at unbeatable value. If you have a lot of guests coming in from out of town and are planning a wedding in Portland, the Jupiter Next is a no-brainer!

Whimsical Disco Wedding
We had a whimsical disco wedding—equal parts heartfelt and unhinged—and The Jupiter NEXT was the only place that could have held it all. This wasn’t just a venue for us. The Jupiter has always been our go-to spot whenever we’re in Portland. It’s where we’ve stayed with friends over the years and made some of our favorite memories. Getting married there felt like a wedding and a reunion wrapped into one—layered, personal, and completely us. The indoor space transformed effortlessly throughout the night. We had 130 guests and still managed to fit speeches, dancing, crafts, sequins, jumpsuits, a cocktail bar, a cozy lounge, a ping pong table, and an unreasonable amount of hugging and crying—without ever feeling cramped. And not having to transport anyone? Incredible. The ability to just take the elevator to our wedding or bump into friends in the lobby all week made everything feel more connected and intimate. Callie guided us through planning with such a calm, grounded energy. She helped us think through layout and flow, coordinated with vendors, and just made everything feel possible. She was kind, thoughtful, and quietly excellent at solving problems before we ever saw them. Fernando, our day-of coordinator, absolutely crushed it. He kept everything moving, handled our disco-dinosaur energy like a pro, and made space for us to actually enjoy the day. He was organized, hilarious, and totally unflappable. We also stayed at the hotel all week with our two chihuahuas, and the staff could not have been more wonderful. We basically took over the place with guests and shenanigans, and they didn’t just put up with it—they made us feel like part of the family. Thoughtful, kind, and always one step ahead. The Jupiter NEXT gave us space to fully be ourselves and throw a joyful, weird, deeply meaningful celebration. It wasn’t just a venue—it was home for one of the best weeks of our lives.
