Blue Heron Barn is a Michigan barn wedding venue hosted in a modern and elegant restored barn. Our barn is situated on five acres bordered by the Portage Creek. The updated, historical barn is capable of hosting 200 guests. We take pride in providing a crisp, clean and professional atmosphere while also working with you to make your special day a uniquely memorable one. We host weddings for couples from Kalamazoo, Chicago, Detroit, Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, Battle Creek and throughout West Michigan.

We recently hosted our wedding at Blue Heron Barn, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless. What really stood out was the incredible attention to detail. Tiffany and her team anticipated every need and ensured that our timeline ran perfectly, allowing us to simply enjoy our day without a single worry. They calmed our nerves along with having the answers to any question that arose! Tiffany herself made sure that after our ceremony we had a beverage while we finished up pictures! She made us feel so well taken care of, even during the busiest parts of the day. Our guests were equally impressed, and we have received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how well everything was organized. Everyone took personal pictures around the venue—it’s stunning wherever you look! Having both an indoor and outdoor space that was comfortable while able to combat July heat was amazing! I can’t forget that they also have an entire section of their barn with decor that can be used for your wedding!! We are so grateful to the staff for their professionalism and for making our wedding day truly unforgettable. Highly recommend!

I would choose Blue Heron Barn again and again...
From the moment we booked Blue Heron Barn, Bob and Tiffany made us feel like our wedding day mattered to them as much as it did to us. Their communication was quick and friendly throughout the entire planning process, and they went above and beyond to handle every detail before we even had to ask. On the day of our wedding, we didn't have to worry about a single thing—the team anticipated our needs and took care of everything seamlessly. When a few rowdy guests popped up at the end of the night, Bob and Tiffany handled the situation with grace and professionalism, getting everyone out safely and without any drama. They genuinely care about each couple's experience, and it showed in every interaction we had with them. They thought of absolutely everything, and offered to help with anything we needed. They were upfront about pricing from the very beginning, there were no hidden fees or up charges and everything was very straight forward. We got married a few weeks ago and still have people telling us how seamless and beautiful the day was. We can't recommend Blue Heron Barn enough for anyone looking for a venue that delivers exceptional service and support.
