Disaster
Chene Rouge looked beautiful in photos, but our experience fell short of expectations. The communication leading up to our wedding was unclear, and we felt like the team didn't have a solid plan in place. They charged us 1,200 to flip the room to a different space and promised extra staff to help, but that didn't happen as described. What bothered us most was feeling like the venue cared only until they got our deposit, then stopped going the extra mile. On our wedding day, the owners dressed casually in jeans instead of professionally. The dancing on a cloud feature we paid for didn't deliver the impact we hoped for, essentially the co-owner (husband to the venue owner) was moving around with a smoke machine when our music started.. We wish we had trusted our gut and chosen a different venue, especially given how much we relied on them to get the details right.

Beautiful Venue
This venue was absolutely GORGEOUS. It was an inclusive venue that provided catering, cake, DJ, florist, day-of-coordinations, and of course the decor and space rental. There were a few communication blips along the way, but they were all resolved and the day-of came together perfectly.
