Surround yourself with beauty on your Big Day at one of Maine's most quintessential settings for a destination wedding – Diamond's Edge, nestled directly on the waterfront of Great Diamond Island. Imagine exchanging vows as the gentle ocean breeze caresses your face, the sun shines down upon you, and the sparkling blue waters of Diamond Cove provide the picture-perfect backdrop to capture every unforgettable moment. After your on-site ceremony, greet your guests during cocktail hour on the lush and expansive lawn with Mirror Pond as its centerpiece. Continue the festivities under our custom Sperry tent, providing all-weather comfort for 75 to 200 guests. Feast on a traditional Maine Lobster Bake with all the trimmings or select from myriad catering options to match every taste and mood. Enjoy music and dancing before cruising back to Portland or spending a romantic wedding night nearby at the luxurious Inn at Diamond Cove. We host weddings from June through early October.

Best Wedding on GDI!
From the moment we started planning, Colleen and the Diamond's Edge team made us feel heard and supported every step of the way. They answered every question we threw at them and helped us figure out the details that mattered most for our big day. On the wedding day itself, their set-up and break-down was seamless, and the venue looked absolutely stunning—big, beautiful, and perfectly Maine. The whole crew went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and our guests couldn't stop raving about the space and how taken care of they felt. Colleen's caring approach made planning feel easy instead of stressful, which meant we could actually enjoy the process. We couldn't recommend Diamond's Edge Restaurant and Marina more highly to any couple looking for a venue that truly cares about making your day special.

Wedding Weekend
We had an amazing experience with our wedding venue and couldn’t have asked for a better weekend! Everything was clean, organized, and ran so smoothly from start to finish. We stayed at the hotel for the entire weekend, enjoyed lunch by the pool, and were able to truly relax and enjoy the experience with our family and friends. Colleen, our coordinator, and Alexis, her assistant, were absolutely wonderful. They made the entire wedding day feel easy and stress-free, and they did an incredible job bringing all of our wishes to life. It meant so much to be able to enjoy our day without worrying about the little details because we knew everything was being taken care of. We’re so grateful to Colleen, Alexis, and the entire team for helping make our wedding so special. From the overall experience to the day itself, everything exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful, seamless, and memorable wedding experience!
