I've photographed weddings at a lot of beautiful venues over the years, but Froggsong Gardens is genuinely one of my favorites. The gardens are incredible. You can tell how much care goes into maintaining this place. Every little pathway leads to something different, and the variety of flowers, plants, and trees is pretty remarkable. As a photographer, I felt a little spoiled and frankly, I get bit overwhelmed on what to photograph because there is so much to work iwith. There were so many beautiful spots for portraits that I could have happily spent the entire day exploring with my couples. I also love how intimate the ceremony space feels, surrounded by all that greenery and color. It's beautiful without trying too hard, which is part of what makes it so special. I've been photographing weddings for two decades, and I don't say this lightly: Froggsong Gardens is one of the most beautiful wedding venues I've photographed. If you're thinking about getting married here, I'd absolutely encourage you to visit and see it for yourself.

Was married here in August 2024. Two years later and people still send me messages telling me how much they loved the venue. It's obvious that the owners take great pride in their garden, as it's maintained immaculately and is full of local and exotic foliage. There were dozens of places to take beautiful portraits of the guests and wedding party and the staff on site were well-versed and professional, all around. I found this place by accident on google maps while we were looking for venues on Vashon. I had originally envisioned a venue with a view of Mt. Rainier, but I'm dead serious: this garden is a better view. The other benefit of the venue is that the flowers and ground-level splendour are bright no matter the weather—because yes, it did rain on our wedding, briefly. It's still the Seattle area. Check this place out. You won't regret it.
