About this venue

Located in the rolling hills of Northern Delaware's Brandywine Valley, Greenville Country Club is a premier historic venue and private club. Originally known as Owl's Nest, the property was built in 1915 by architect Harrie T. Lindeberg as an estate for Eugene du Pont, Jr. It was famously the site of the 1937 wedding between Ethel du Pont and Franklin D. Roosevelt Jr. before becoming a country club in 1961.
