About this venue
Established in 1750 as an English land grant in the picturesque White Mountains of Maine (then the “Massachusetts Bay Colony”), Hardy Farm remained in the same family for ten generations prior to being purchased by Greg and Deborah Link in 2001. After a The Links transformed Hardy Farm into a very special and unique “rustic elegant” venue for weddings and events offering an authentically historic feel, with a distinctly unique ambiance of contemporary yet rustic elegance featuring all of today's modern amenities. Hardy Farm accommodates up to 32 people overnight and the property encompasses 13 acres with beautiful gardens and stone patios, fire pit, the farmhouse, barn, lodge, woodland chapel, and their own 103’ sailcloth tent. Guests at Hardy Farm enjoy the beautiful rural New England setting with convenient proximity to North Conway, NH, and the Mt. Washington Valley, offering a myriad of year-round outdoor activities.

Gorgeous venue with so much flexibility! Our guests were never bored moving around the property throughout the evening - from the woodland chapel to the patio for cocktail hour, then the tent and barn - all was beautiful and well kept! Additionally, the on site accommodations as well as the lodge just 2 min up the road made travel for guests so much easier. Greg and Deborah maintain a beautiful piece of property in Fryeburg we highly recommend!

Hardy Farm wins as a winter wonderland!
From the moment we first reached out to Hardy Farm, the communication was quick, thorough and detailed. The event manager was incredibly responsive and flexible, catering to any last minute changes with ease to ensure our day went off without a hitch. The venue itself provided an intimate, inclusive atmosphere that felt perfectly accommodating for our wedding. The optional onsite lodging was perfect for our bridal party, out-of-town friends and family, and allowed everyone to fully enjoy the celebration. Hardy Farm's attention to detail and seamless execution made our special day truly unforgettable.

Spectacular experience !
We could not be happier with this venue. It was charming, cozy, and all our guests fell in love with it. The owners were amazing to work with and made us feel comfortable and warm and were attentive to every need and question. There is not a single thing more we could have asked for. And not to mention- it is stunning and magical.

Wayne Newbury
Lived there in 1984. The place is haunted. I still have one of the skeleton keys from the house. I was 9 years old. Leave was super creepy.
Hardy Farm c.1750•Jul 14, 2026Hi Wayne, Thanks for your positive review and thoughts. We personally know of the daughter and son-in-law of Chester and Alice Black who owned the property for many years. Their daughter was Barbara Lawrence who lived next door until she passed recently. We also know the history of the house going back for 10 generations to 1750 and have many of the hand penned deeds that date back to the time of Maine being part of the English Massachusetts Bay Colony. We've been blessed to own the property since 2002 and have maintained our friendship with descendants of the Hardy family including hosting their grand daughter's wedding last summer. If the place is indeed haunted, the spirits must be very pleased in witnessing all the happy families staying for multiple nights while celebrating their loved one's weddings as no one has ever reported anything unusual after nearly 500 weddings since 2013 and nothing we've noted all the way back to our purchasing the property in 2002, running it as a B&B until we began hosting weddings in 2013. If anything, based upon consistent positive reviews we continue to receive, couples who are married at Hardy Farm all report sincerely feeling a friendly and loving family spirit during their stay creating extra wonderful memories of their weddings. Deborah and Greg Link, owners
