About this venue
Lake Bomoseen isn't just a great place to vacation. With its pristine water surrounded by wooded hills & undeveloped shorelines, it is not surprising it is a popular backdrop for weddings. Our lodge is the only lakeside Bomoseen property offering everything you need to create your perfect day. Along with four unique ceremony sites, you will also find a newly renovated reception loft, ample lodging & on-site catering. Your guests will find many activities to enjoy while on property, from our boat rides & tiki tours, fire pits, pickleball, pool, dining, or the golf course next door. We are also close to multiple mountains for skiing, snowshoeing, sledding & many winter activities. The resort boasts complete renovations to all accommodations, grounds, Taproom restaurant & Loft reception space. We have been honored to host weddings year round, each season offering its unique ambiance. Our on-site wedding coordinators work with each couple to plan & execute their perfect day.

A rustic, open-concept loft reception space offering a charming blank canvas for you to create your own unique celebration.
You’ll get the best of both worlds with the Loft - lake views from the balcony & a warm indoor ceremony. Customize the beautiful space for your ceremony, then head to the Taproom for a private cocktail hour while the staff flips the space to your reception layout.

A cozy balcony on the second floor of our Taproom, offering an intimate setting ideal for smaller gatherings and relaxed celebrations.
The second floor overlooks the bar & provides a location for a farewell brunch & indoor rehearsal dinners.

A Scenic Lakeside Setting for Unforgettable Ceremonies
Year-round, the Lakeside is the perfect location for your outdoor ceremony. Our arbor sits between two large trees, framing the view perfectly. Guests will be seated in chivari chairs, taking in the views of the lake & surrounding rolling hillsides. The tent is available as a rain location for all outdoor sites from May- October.

Romance Elevated: A Scenic Hillside Ceremony
The Hillside offers gorgeous views for your outdoor ceremony. Guests are shuttled to the ceremony location & will sit comfortably on rustic log benches. Sliding barn doors offer a private location for a ‘first look’ with your partner or a unique way to make an entrance.

My husband and I got married at LBL in July 11, 2026. There are so many great things about this venue and the staff there! I'll start by saying the venue itself was so nice. We had events Thursday-Sunday and it was amazing to have a place where all of our guests could spend the weekend and have things to do. Pickleball was a huge hit and a lot of people got out to enjoy the water in between wedding events. It was also nice to be able to have everything happen in one place so no one had to drive anywhere. It really allowed us to spend as much time with our guests as possible. Moving on to the staff, literally everyone (office staff, bar staff, room staff, wait staff) that worked there was great to interact with. They were always willing to help us out. Everyone there was so relaxed throughout the weekend I was worried that there would be something that went wrong but they got so many things done without me having to think about it let alone instruct them. As a type A bride this felt magical to have happened. You can tell they are experienced in running weddings and they care about making it the weekend that you want it to be. Rebecca was absolutely wonderful to work with! She was always quick to reply to emails and supper positive and reassuring through every step. We had a large room block and the office staff was helpful in coordinating all of the details and changes that came with reservations and welcome bags. LBL was supportive of the unique things we wanted to do. For example LBL handled the delivery, storage, and prep of a live butterfly release at the ceremony. They also were willing to take our Ninja slushy machine and use it to make a signature slushy cocktail throughout the night. I can't stress enough how great LBL was to work with and would definitely recommend having your wedding here!

An absolute favorite
The event staff at Lake Bomoseen Lodge and Taproom are prompt, friendly, and clear in their communication. They are welcoming, bright, and versatile, offering a wide range of options to suit any couple's style. The beautiful setting with a wide variety of backdrops, plus their stellar team, makes the Lodge one of our most preferred spots to photograph. We got married here ourselves and can't recommend them enough!
