About this venue
Nazareth Hall is known throughout the region as a banquet and wedding facility, but it’s the rich history and lush setting that draws people here. Built in 1927 as an all-boy Catholic boarding school. It eventually evolved into a renowned military school for boys. Throughout its history the school stayed true to its Catholic roots and the nuns who served and taught here. Operating until 1982 the stories written within its walls are still told today. Re-emerging with a new mission and purpose in April of 1991, Nazareth Hall was reborn. It is in this picturesque place, reminiscent of castles of old, that brides come to be married and celebrate with family and friends in grand ballrooms. The classrooms and meeting spaces offer the perfect vintage background for business training sessions, and the manicured lawns have been host to numerous parties and festivities.

Elegant with great natural light
Original stained glass, classy columns and brass chandeliers grace this beautiful ballroom. The numerous windows in this ballroom to bring nature indoors while transforming the vibrant colors of the sunset. The light shining through the windows during the day creates the best photo opportunities. During the evening, the setting sun mixed with fun up-lighting or the soft glow from candlelight make Cadet West the perfect reception space.

Included with this ballroom is a transformative pipe and drape backdrop that perfectly complements the head table. The room's comfortable size and private location on the second floor make it the perfect location for a variety of events, including wedding receptions, business meetings, holiday events, class reunions and Greek formals.

The Grotto
Charming with lots of natural beauty
The Grotto is a replica of the famed grotto located in Lourdes, France. It is set in a wooded grove next to a small stream, providing guests with a sense of serenity. The grotto’s natural beauty adds a calming quality to any event and is ideal for an outdoor wedding ceremony. The site is a short, but pleasant walk across the lush grounds of Nazareth Hall and over a picturesque bridge. Your hostess will operate a golf cart for any guests with special needs.

Best wedding venue ever!
We had our wedding on 8/1/26 and it was the most beautiful day ever. We had a lot of issues and changes with our wedding and Sophie was always so helpful and supportive! She made the entire process so easy especially with us living in Florida. Our day of coordinator was Jordan and she was a godsend as well! She was on top of everything the entire time. She helped reassure the flower girls and ring bearers and made them feel comfortable to walk down the aisle. The food was amazing and we got so many compliments. Nazareth hall is beyond gorgeous! It was such a perfect day thanks to Nazareth hall! We are forever grateful that we got to have our wedding here!!

We absolutely loved Nazareth Hall! From the beginning, working with Sophie, Caroline, and Bella was such a wonderful experience. They were so organized, kind, and attentive, making sure we stayed on schedule and helping bring our vision to life. They truly made our wedding day everything we had hoped for. The venue itself was beautiful, clean, and exceptionally well maintained. The getting-ready rooms were the perfect size and gave us plenty of space to relax and enjoy the morning with our bridal party. The food was another highlight of the day! Everything was delicious—from the hors d'oeuvres to dinner and the late-night snack. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the food, and we heard so many wonderful things throughout the night. We are so grateful to the entire team for making our wedding day so seamless and memorable. We highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful space with an amazing staff!

Best Wedding Venue in Northwest Ohio
I could not imagine having had our wedding anywhere else! Nazareth is everything a bride could ever want and more. We worked with Maddison and she could not have been a more helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive coordinator. She is seriously a God send. She made our wedding planning absolutely painless and the day of was seamless. Maddison would answer all my questions with a can-do attitude and anything she couldn’t do, she’d direct me to who could. She made recommendations, spent hours in planning meetings, and executed to make my dream wedding a reality. It was such a pleasure to work with her and I am so beyond thankful for all she did to make our wedding day seem perfect. Our wedding was in the Ladyglen Ballroom and not only do the new renovations look STUNNING, but our guests were comfortable and had many compliments throughout the night. Our decor looked incredible and the set-up crew did such a phenomenal job organizing our personal decor along with the venue’s. They made the morning so stress free and hands off! Also, the food was INCREDIBLE. We had bacon wrapped shrimp, spring rolls, charcuterie, and a fan favorite - chicken and waffles as our apps. Our meal was mac’n cheese, BBQ chicken, prime rib, and buttered broccoli. It was all delicious and so thoughtfully placed/distributed. The bar staff were friendly, and serviced all of our guests in a timely manner. Our day of coordinator was Megan. Megan couldn’t have been sweeter and more helpful to my husband and I on our wedding day. It was almost like she could read our minds because whenever either of us wanted a water she’d magically appear holding one. She kept us on time and made sure all of our needs were met throughout the night. She couldn’t have been better to work with! If we could, we would do a wedding at Nazareth all over again.

Great experience!
We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Nazareth Hall from start to finish. Sophie was instrumental in the planning process—she responded quickly to our questions and really understood what we were going for with our wedding. Her vendor recommendations were spot-on and saved us so much time researching on our own. On the actual day, Megan kept everything running smoothly while making sure we felt supported and celebrated throughout. The venue itself is absolutely stunning with immaculate grounds that made the perfect backdrop for our photos. We'd highly recommend Nazareth Hall to any couple looking for a beautiful space paired with genuinely helpful staff.

We can't say enough nice things about Nazareth Hall! Our wedding day was absolutely PERFECT and I wouldn't change a single thing. Everyone was so wonderful to work with and very accommodating to our needs to make our vision come to life. We received so many compliments on our venue and the food, and everything ran so smoothly on the day of! I would recommend this venue to anyone!
