Best Team & Wedding Venue We Could Have Asked For!

We had the absolute best experience with The Mez as our wedding venue in June 2026! From the planning to day of execution, the team (especially Dani) were incredibly communicative, open to all my ideas, flexible with figuring out rain plan options, and willing to help with anything and everything. Beyond the fabulous team, the space is amazing and doesn't need much decoration because it is so beautiful. It held our 140ish person wedding well! The lighting is terrific from the windows which was great for getting ready during the day. Truly could not have asked for a better wedding venue and team!!!

A Truly Magical Wedding at The Mez

We​ had the pleasure of hosting our wedding reception at The Mez, and we could not be happier with our experience! The moment we first toured the venue, we were blown away by how beautiful and thoughtfully designed the space is, intimate elegant, and warm, everything just fits together perfectly. Every time we came back for planning meetings, it only reassured us that this was the exact atmosphere we wanted for our reception. It was the perfect fit for our celebration of about 85 guests. The entire team was truly wonderful to work with. Communication was always quick and helpful, and no question ever felt too big or too small. We were even able to customize our bar package exactly how we wanted it, and the bartenders the night of the wedding were amazing, super friendly and kept the energy high. Our guests kept complimenting how gorgeous the venue was and how convenient the parking situation is (especially with multiple events happening downtown that day!). It was such a relief knowing no one had to stress about finding a spot or walking too far. A huge shoutout to Dani, the manager at The Mez, who also did our decor and florals. She brought our vision to life in a way we can’t even describe. Everything looked incredible. She made the planning process feel easy and was always there for any and all questions. Our family and friends were blown away, and the whole night felt magical. We are so grateful to The Mez for giving us the perfect space to celebrate with the people we love. Highly, highly recommend to anyone looking for a stunning venue with amazing people behind it!

From the moment we stepped into The Mez, we knew we had found the perfect venue for our event. Prior to seeing the space, communication was friendly, prompt, and incredibly helpful (as I am one that typically has a lot of questions). When I finally got to meet the faces behind the emails and phone calls, Dani and Jenn, I immediately felt a sense of comfort. Like meeting up with an old friend. The space is so much more than what a photo can capture!! The attention to detail and unique design elements they brought to our event were truly impressive. I immediately fell in love with the color palette. The bar was the centerpiece, a true statement piece that had all of our guests wishing they had discovered this hidden gem first. With the help of The Mez design team we were able to achieve our vision of an inviting, one-of-a-kind experience for our guests. From the thoughtful touches like a custom bar menu with specialty cocktails to the beautifully crafted floral arrangements and decor. We cannot recommend The Mez enough for those looking to host an unforgettable event or wedding celebration.

My daughter, Nicki, and her husband Kevin had their reception at the Mez and it couldn`t have been any more special and beautiful! Everything went flawlessly. In being that theirs was the first reception at the Mez, it was perfect! They handled everything and it was amazing! The Mez is a beautiful, versatile space! Hello character. While primarily used for various events, weddings, and gatherings, we creatively used it to film for a company podcast a number of times. Planning, suggestions, and flexibility was seamless. We're excited to use the space for future events and happy to have such a fantastic space in downtown toledo!
