At Nicky's + The Maxwell Room, you can have a wedding that is not only special and fun, but also includes food, bar, staff, furnishings, dinnerware, AV and a planner, for $10k or LESS! Our award winning restaurant just celebrated 9 years of business, and features our signature scratch made Italian cuisine. With two spaces for events small and large, we can accommodate intimate weddings for smaller groups of 30-70 ($1500-$5000), or ceremonies and receptions for up to 150 ($5000-$10,000). This room accommodates up to 70 guests for a seated dinner or up to 90 for a cocktail party style event with buffet/passed dinner.

Greatest wedding venue and staff at Nicky’s!
From our first conversation with Tess, our event manager at Nicky's Coal Fired The Maxwell Room, we knew we had found the right venue. She was knowledgeable and responsive throughout the entire planning process, making every decision feel manageable and stress-free. We appreciated that they let us taste their food before finalizing our menu, and they worked with us to build a custom reception itinerary that felt true to us. When we walked in on our wedding day, the space felt elegant and refined without being overdone. Brittany, our server and bartender, brought such warmth to the room that guests kept commenting on how welcomed they felt. The whole team made us feel like family, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The Perfect Rehearsal Dinner Experienc
We had our rehearsal dinner here and I genuinely cannot recommend them enough! From our very first contact through the night of our dinner, Tess was absolutely FABULOUS to work with. We booked a semi-private event for around 30–35 guests and were able to drop off a few decorations that morning — a sign, candles, and bud vases with roses. When we arrived that evening, everything was already set up exactly how I had envisioned it. It was absolutely beautiful and I didn’t have to worry about a thing! The entire staff went above and beyond for us. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming and made all of our guests feel so comfortable. The food was fantastic as well! We have several people with celiac disease in our family, including myself, so having safe gluten-free options was extremely important to us. They were more than happy to accommodate us and did an amazing job, which gave me so much peace of mind. What really meant the most to us was how kind Tess was when we ran into an unexpected issue with our wedding venue and our rehearsal walkthrough. She allowed us to use the Maxwell Room to actually rehearse our ceremony, and I cannot explain how grateful we were for her in that moment. She absolutely did not have to do that, and it was just another example of how genuinely kind and accommodating she was throughout the entire experience. Everything from the space, food, setup, and service to the people themselves exceeded our expectations. Tess and the entire staff are genuinely wonderful people who truly care about the experience they give their guests. We are SO thankful we chose to have our rehearsal dinner here and would recommend them a thousand times over for any special event!!

From our first contact, Nicky's Coal Fired The Maxwell Room proved to be responsive and genuinely invested in making our day special. The venue itself is stunning—open, bright, and gorgeous in ways that photos online don't quite capture. What impressed us most was how smoothly everything ran without us having to worry or constantly adjust plans. The team handled every detail with such care that we could actually enjoy our wedding instead of stressing about logistics. We honestly felt like the staff understood our vision and made it happen effortlessly. We'd absolutely recommend them to any couple looking for a beautiful space paired with a team that truly has your back.

I've dined here while living in Nashville and had our wedding here (which will be the focus of my review) in July 2026. The food was delicious- I will be thinking about the focaccia and butter for weeks to come. The space was super functional for all our needs and was an adorable backdrop for our wedding of 85 people. Perhaps most noteworthy are the people. They were exceptionally competent yet laid back, flexible and kind, and easy to work with. These are the folks that go the extra mile to ensure quality. I had so much peace of mind because I knew Nicky's had everything covered. Their day-of-coordinator (Katie) worked with us well outside of the day-of and was SO incredibly helpful. She answered all of our questions and took our many calls. I toured several places while looking for a wedding venue, and Nicky's stood out as a place that is genuinely excited to celebrate you. They do not nickel and dime you like many places do as soon as you say the word 'wedding.' Their pricing was incredibly fair. If you are a bride, groom, or someone throwing a special occasion event, I truly cannot recommend Nicky's enough!!

Great Venue your guests will love
From our first conversation with Katie and her team at Nicky's Coal Fired The Maxwell Room, we knew we had found our venue. They responded quickly to every question and gave us detailed answers that made planning feel easy and stress-free. The space itself is genuinely cozy and intimate, which helped our guests relax and enjoy the evening. Katie was incredibly flexible with our menu and went out of her way to accommodate our special requests without making us feel like we were asking too much. My biggest fear as having terrible food at our wedding, which is why we opted to have it at a restaurant. Our guests could not stop talking about the food—and the servers were so attentive that people felt truly taken care of throughout the night. It's rare to find a venue that feels this relaxed and special, and we're so grateful we chose them.
