Hi! My name is Lydia and I'm a Nashville Wedding Photographer. While I'm based in Tennessee, I'm more than willing to travel well beyond that. My photography style is light, bright and true to life. My goal is to make you feel at ease in front of the camera and provide photos that you can cherish for the many years to come. We will always take traditional posed photos, but you can expect to receive lots of candid moments in your final gallery. I'm very detailed, but I also know how to keep things fun and calm. When you book with me, I'll provide you with lots of guidance. Getting everything together for a wedding can be over-whelming and stressful, so I'll do whatever I can to help.

    Best Choice!

    Lydia McRae Photography was the best choice I made for my wedding! She was kind, professional and knew how to position everybody to look our best. She was calm when I, the bride, was not. Lydia helped out so much with the scheduling and everything. Can't go wrong. We got married at Tennessee Grasslands in Gallatin, TN. Lydia found great spots to work with our size group and weather that day.

    HIRE HER!!

    Lydia and her assistant Lanie photographed our wedding at my grandparent’s house. They were both prompt, friendly, professional, and they took the most BEAUTIFUL photos!! All of our guests enjoyed interacting with them, and I am seriously going to have a hard time narrowing down my top favorites because the photos are just fantastic. Lydia even delivered our gallery ahead of schedule! I highly recommend her :)

You can expect about 75 images per hour from your wedding day and a mininmum of 50 images from your engagement session.
Sneak peeks will be delivered within 48 hours and the full gallery will be delivered within 4-6 weeks of your wedding day.
A second photographer is only included with the premium package but can be added to any of them for an additional fee. The second photographer is generally present starting with getting ready and continuing through the beginning of the reception.
No, I only offer photography services.
The booking process is fully digital. I require a 50% retainer of the full payment amount and a signed contract to save your date. The remainder of your balance is due 30 days before your wedding date.
