Great location! Not happy with the service.
We were initially impressed by Renaissance Chicago O'Hare Suites after our first venue viewing, the ballroom is genuinely beautiful, and the hotel itself is fantastic for guests. The hotel staff, particularly Kyla and Steve, were friendly and welcoming, and the food and beverage offerings were excellent. However, our experience took a turn once we moved into planning details with the Assistant Director of catering. Communication became a challenge since she only responded via email, and we frequently had to follow up to get answers. More concerning were the promises that didn't materialize on our wedding day. For example, we were told parking would be complimentary for guests, but our guests were charged while leaving, and the ballroom layout we specifically requested wasn't executed as discussed. Our Day of Coordinator also could not get ahold of the Assistant Director of catering. She was very hard to communicate with and never showed any care for us, the wedding couple. If you book here, get all agreements in writing and confirm details multiple times closer to your date. I also recommend working with multiple people on the events side, because if we did not use this specific person, I believe our experience would have been 10 times better!

Excellent Five Star Service!
Our dealings with the team well exceeded our expectations. The day went completely smooth with no glitches, a great number of our guests decided to book rooms at the hotel which they spoke very highly of. Everyone had a great time and it was a great relief to have the team handle our wedding in such a highly professional way. I recommend this venue a million times over. A must book!
