About this venue

Ruby Oaks is a one-of-a-kind wedding and event venue in Pierson, Florida, just outside DeLand, FL. On tree-lined 15 acre grounds glowing with string lights, we host weddings of up to 100 guests with separate spaces for your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, so there are no room flips. Say "I do" in the Evergreen Garden under our heart-shaped floral arch and pergola, then celebrate in our climate-controlled converted airplane hangar with draped ceilings and walls with a crystal chandelier, his & her restrooms. Get ready in the farmhouse bridal suite or groom's quarters, and take unforgettable photos at our white sand beach, uplit tree tunnel and petting farm with Ruby the zebra, Charlie the camel and friends. Choose an all-inclusive package or a DIY venue-only option, and stay on-site in the farmhouse (sleeps 7) or upscale RV (sleeps 4) for a full wedding weekend. Pets welcome! We also host showers, birthdays, reunions and corporate events. Tours available any day of the week.

    Hidden Gem in Florida for Wedding Venues

    I hosted an event at Ruby Oaks in Pierson and it couldn’t have gone better. The venue is naturally stunning, with beautiful event space, breath taking ceremony space, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that made everyone feel comfortable right away. Skip and his team were incredible throughout the entire process. They helped with setup, answered every question, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The animals on the property, especially the zebra, were a huge hit and added something special you don’t get at most venues. Guests loved the on-site lodging, and I appreciated how easy everything was thanks to the support from the staff.

    The place seemed beautiful, however there was a miscommunication with the staff, we scheduled a tour and arrive 5 mins early, reached out to whom we thought would be our tour guide amanda, we waited for 10 mins then called, no response, waited 20 mins and decided to leave, we drove 1 hr to the venue…. As soon as we leave we get a call that the tour guide was there, no one waited outside to welcome us, I was called by skip(the tour guide) and was asked to return I was in the middle of explaining my frustration with the communication issue only to get hang up on!!

Absolutely. Ruby Oaks is fully on ground level, so guests with mobility needs can move around with ease.
Catering is not included at Ruby Oaks, giving you full flexibility to design your menu your way. Our open catering policy allows you to bring in the caterer you love—whether that’s a favorite family chef, a trusted local caterer, or someone new you’ve been excited to try. We do however offer catering with our all inclusive packages.
While the bar isn’t included, couples love that they can provide their own liquor, whether that’s your signature cocktail ingredients or your favorite bottles from Costco or Total Wine. Rental of both of these properties is not included in the venue rate, but can be added for a small fee.
