About this venue
The Barn on the Pemi is a fully restored and renovated mid-1800’s barn. At over 10,000 square feet of event space, this venue is a rustic and expansive location in which to host small receptions or grand affairs. Surrounded by a secluded pastoral landscape, The Barn exudes a classic rural New England charm. Ceremonies can be held in our climate controlled barn, on our terrace or in our seasonal greenhouse. The surrounding mountains add a beautiful backdrop for your photos. The barn interior will host your cocktail hour and reception. Our on-site catering chefs will serve locally-sourced dishes that highlight the best of New England’s farms. You can also enjoy craft cocktails, local beer, and vintage wines from the two full-service bars that the venue includes. Ensuring your event goes seamlessly and you have the best experience possible, we provide unique accommodation and transportation options as well as an event specialist to work with you every step of the way.

Standing three stories high, The Barn houses its own catering facility, two bars as well as elevators and restrooms on each floor. The impressive interior boasts high ceilings, exposed beams, a beautiful stone fireplace, and unique and elaborate chandeliers. Tasteful and simple interiors allow you to customize with your own décor and individual style.

Perfect spot for our fall wedding!
We loved our experience with The Barn on the Pemi! Kendra and Alexis were both extremely responsive and easy to work with. I can't recommend them both enough. Our guests loved the pre-ceremony apple cider donuts & hot cider, the views from the patio, and the pie bar for dessert. We had a perfect fall wedding day and couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else!

We had our wedding at The Barn on the Pemi and couldn't have asked for a better experience. From our first conversation with Krysta and the team, they were quick to respond to our questions and genuinely excited to help us plan our day. They held pre-wedding setup calls with us to make sure everything would run smoothly, which gave us so much peace of mind. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and clearly well-maintained, and the food they served was incredible—our guests still haven't stop talking about it. We'd recommend The Barn on the Pemi to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with a team that truly cares!

The easiest five stars we could ever give. If we could give The Barn on the Pemi a thousand, we would! My husband and I got married here on October 3, 2026, and I genuinely don’t know if words will ever do our experience justice. From the rehearsal to our wedding day and after-party, every moment was beyond anything we could have dreamed of. We knew the venue was breathtaking when we booked it, but what made it truly extraordinary was the team behind it. Every single staff member was phenomenal. The kindness, professionalism, attentiveness, and attention to detail were unmatched. We felt so genuinely cared for, and so did our guests. Everything flowed seamlessly, allowing us to be completely present and soak in every second of the best day of our lives. The food? INCREDIBLE. The desserts? Just as amazing. Our guests are still raving about the food, service, and entire experience. Hosting nearly 200 people is no small feat, and this team made it look effortless. And then there’s Kendra. Oh, Kendra. Where do I even begin? Calling her incredible feels like the understatement of the century. She is an absolute miracle worker, and I truly cannot imagine our wedding without her. After spending so much time planning every little detail, having someone who cared so deeply about bringing our vision to life meant everything. She was organized, patient, reassuring, attentive, and somehow always ten steps ahead. No question was too small, no detail overlooked. She handled everything with such grace, and I never once doubted that we were in the best hands. But what makes Kendra so special goes far beyond being an exceptional coordinator. She genuinely cares. She made us feel heard, supported, and understood through every step of the process. By the end, she didn’t just feel like our coordinator; she felt like a friend. Having someone in your corner who treats your happiness as if it matters just as much to her as it does to you is something I will never forget. I hope she knows what an incredible difference she made for us. Our wedding was everything we’d hoped for and somehow so much more. We laughed, cried, danced our hearts out, and experienced a kind of happiness I wish we could bottle up forever. We didn’t spend the day worrying about logistics. We got to simply be a bride and groom, surrounded by our favorite people, making memories we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. To the coordinators, servers, bartenders, culinary team, and everyone behind the scenes: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You gave us a weekend we will never forget. If we could do it all over again, we would choose The Barn on the Pemi a thousand times over, and we would choose Kendra every single time. To any couple considering this venue: BOOK IT. You’re not just choosing a beautiful place to get married. You’re choosing people who will pour their hearts into making your day everything you’ve dreamed of. Such an amazing venue and even better people!
The Barn on the Pemi was exactly what we were looking for from the start. Kendra and Sheila made the planning process smooth by staying responsive and thoughtful every step of the way—Kendra answered our email questions quickly, and Sheila was there on our wedding day to keep everything on track. The venue itself is breathtaking with its warm, rustic charm and multiple ceremony spaces that gave us real options for how we wanted to say our vows. I couldn't have found a better place to marry my best friend. The combination of the beautiful setting and the team's genuine care made our day feel special and personal. We'd recommend The Barn on the Pemi to any couple looking for an authentic and welcoming venue!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at the Barn on the Pemi! This venue holds a special place in our hearts because we went to the off-season square dances there while dating and even took our first selfie on the dancefloor that (little did we know) would be where we celebrated our wedding! We had high hopes for using this venue and our expectations were exceeded! Our wedding coordinator Krista supported us throughout the whole process from the initial tour to the end of the wedding. She was very helpful and communicative with emails and phone calls during the planning process. On the rehearsal and wedding day, her knowledge and calm presence made us feel confident that everything was running smoothly so we could focus on enjoying our big day. We stayed at the common man hotels nearby and loved our experience there. It was convenient to stay so close to the venue the nights before and after and allowed us to make our wedding a whole weekend event. We had our bachelor and bachelorette parties the night before, and the suites at The Ranch were a perfect place for these. The bridal party got ready in the suite at The Ranch while the groom and groomsmen got ready at The Lodge, and both were spacious and comfortable places for us to get ready with our wedding party. The venue was stunning! The beautiful grounds and the mountain view from the terrace made for wonderful pictures. We had our ceremony in the greenhouse and reception in the barn. We loved that we got to experience the variety of both spaces with the convenience of keeping everything at the same location. Both places are beautiful and speak for themselves so much that we kept our decorations to a minimum. We loved having the dancefloor on the mail level of the barn and eating dinner on the upper level - this provided even more variety and differentiated between different parts of the night. The food was delicious! From the appetizers and main course all the way to the desserts and late night snacks, the food was both fun and high-quality. A couple of highlights were the ice cream sundae bar and doughnut cart for dessert. We had a fall wedding and neither of us love cake, so we used an apple cider doughnut for our cake cutting! We LOVED having our wedding at the barn and would recommend this venue to anyone!
