I attended a wedding recently and got the pleasure of meeting the whole venue team who put on a marvelous wedding day! As an event planner assistant for a decade in the industry, I want to praise how well prepared and communicative the wedding venue team was-- not missing a beat on any detail from start to finish. The venue itself is truly immaculate, capturing the beauty of the Midwest with its large property and of course, the staple itself, the chapel. The chapel is beautifully renovated yet still holds and includes the bones of a traditional chapel (which also doubles as a cabin)! Overall, you can count on this team to get the details down while enjoying the true classic beauty of the land and Chapel.

We absolutely loved our time at The Chapel at New Richmond! We held a large women’s retreat there, and it ended up being such a special weekend. The entire property is beautiful and so lovingly cared for. You can really tell how much thought and heart has gone into creating the space. We made use of everything we could, the Airbnbs, fire pit, hot tub, and all of the other amenities, and truly had everything we needed for an amazing stay. It was the perfect place for all of us to gather, relax, and enjoy our time together. The owners were so kind, welcoming, and easy to work with, which made the experience even better. We left with such wonderful memories and are already planning to come back again next year. We can’t wait!

The chapel is beautiful and the grounds are well kept and beautiful. It does make for great wedding photos. It was very difficult to communicate with the owner, Tami. She was not helpful in giving one word text replies. She didn’t go above and beyond in any way throughout the entire process. We were very frustrated. You get the very very basic and have to pay fee after fee to get anything else. It would have been nice to set up and decorate the day before and have the rehearsal. We had to have a very long day of setting up, decorating, rehearsal, wedding & clean up within 10 hours!! Crazy! I don’t know another venue that does that to a bride and their family. Tami made the process stressful and difficult for the bride. I would not recommend this venue to anyone and I would not book it again. It’s not worth the all the money and hassle. Save yourself the frustration and book with a more helpful, friendly venue that really wants your day to be special.

The Chapel at New Richmond is the cutest venue! We had a perfect day. The staff is very responsive and was ready to answer any questions, at any time during the planning process and day of. We were so pleased with how our wedding day went!
