I would highly recommend The Fitzgerald! The venue is beautiful both inside and outside. We were really drawn to the beauty of the ivy on the outside of the building. The colors, the antique furniture, and the beautiful original details throughout the space photograph so well. We had 125 guests and it never felt crowded. The flow of the space was perfect. We had planned to get married outside on the terrace but the weather did not cooperate so we pulled it inside, and then the staff flipped the room for us during the cocktail hour. It did not feel like a “back up plan” to be inside, and it was so pretty. The cocktail hour space was great for mingling with guests and it’s so nice that there are 2 bars so guests aren’t waiting long for drinks. Then flowing back into the ballroom for dinner and drinks just worked out great. It was great to have the outside space and the cocktail area for guests to enjoy themselves if they didn’t want to be on the dance floor. We got ready in the upstairs spaces, which I would highly recommend! They are spacious and so convenient. We were required to use Milwaukee Airwaves as our DJ and All Occasions as our caterer, which took the stress of choosing those vendors off our plate. Both vendors were incredible! Truly can’t recommend this venue enough!

Outstanding, Opulent and Overwhelmingly Beautiful!

We got married at the Fitzgerald and it was nothing short of incredible! The modern updates don't take away from the vintage feel whatsoever, and create a truly unique space. Having the ceremony and reception all in once place made things much easier on us, and the DJ, bar, caterer and security all being part of the venue was something we didn't find anywhere else. Speaking of thing that come with the venue, we worked with Ann and Ben through the whole process, and not only were they prompt, they were so personable and helpful! They really made our day perfect and stress-free. THANK YOU to everyone at the Fitzgerald!!!

Historic house stop — exterior character and neighborhood context more than a full daily museum experience. Check whether tours or events are scheduled before making a special trip. Photogenic from the street if you like period residential architecture.

I am a local wedding planner and cannot say enough about how special this venue is. Ann, Ben, and their team are top notch. This hidden gem is just so stunningly beautiful and creates a gorgeous backdrop for any special event. I love working with this team and at The Fitz!

We got married at The Fitzgerald on May 29, 2026 and it was truly one of the best days of our lives. The venue manager Ann was honestly one of our favorite vendors to work with throughout the entire planning process. Her communication was exceptional from day one always responsive, organized, helpful, and genuinely excited for us. Planning a wedding can be stressful but she made the entire experience feel easy and enjoyable. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. The space created such a beautiful atmosphere for our guests and it’s a day we will remember forever. We already can’t wait for an opportunity to return for future events, simply because we loved being there and working with such an incredible team. For couples considering The Fitzgerald, I know the exclusive vendor partnerships may initially give you pause. The venue works exclusively with Milwaukee Airwaves for DJ services and All Occasions Catering and I can honestly say that this partnership is one of the venue’s greatest strengths. The entire team works together seamlessly because they know each other so well. Everything flowed smoothly throughout the day, the food was fantastic, the DJ kept the dance floor packed all night, and the coordination between everyone was flawless. The Fitzgerald offers so much more than just a beautiful venue it provides an experienced team that genuinely wants your wedding day to be successful.
