I’m Mallory Ramirez, owner and lead planner of Mallory Joy Events. My background is in logistics—I spent over a decade building systems, managing details, and thinking three steps ahead. With a background that blends logistics, bridal styling, and event management, I bring both creative vision and practical organization to the planning process. That’s how Mallory Joy Wedding Events was built—not just from experience, but from intention.
My goal is simple: to give you the freedom to fully enjoy your wedding day while I handle the details that bring it all together. I’m proud to create an experience where my couples feel supported, taken care of, and truly present in one of the most meaningful moments of their lives. Coordinator Extraordinaire!
My now husband and I had phone calls with a few different coordinators at the start of our planning process, but the second we hung up with Mallory he said "We HAVE to go with her!" And I'm so thankful we did. She was the only one who spent some time getting to know us before diving into her services, and that personal touch continued the whole time we worked together. She is professional, detailed, and confident in a way that made us have not a single worry about the timeline, or details leading up to our wedding day. We knew that no matter what happened, Mallory and Misty would handle it! She managed our vendors, timeline, and set up and took down all our decor and made sure everything ran smoothly. She thought of details I never would have considered, and even had plates of our cocktail snacks and drinks waiting for us after our ceremony as we spent a few minutes alone. I truly do not know what we would have done without her; after the wedding our families both said "Your coordinator was AWESOME!" We couldn't agree more! Highly recommend Mallory taking charge of the details of your day if you want to relax and enjoy the moment.

The best!!
Mallory and Misty were truly a life saver! We got married in Northern MI at an Airbnb, without it being a true venue there were so many moving piece and lots of different vendors to coordinate. Mallory was the calm I needed throughout the entire process, working with the vendors leading up to the day on the timeline and allowing me to be stress free. They made the day absolutely perfect! We could not have done it without them and I can’t recommend them enough!

Wedding Couple
Being a couple that lives in Colorado and having our wedding out of state in Michigan we were looking for a wedding coordinator that we could put all our trust into and be our eyes and ears when we weren't able to tour venues and meet vendors in person. Mallory was exactly that for us and more during our year long journey of wedding planning. She helped remove a lot of stress we had with a flexible timeline and preparing us for the next steps. Mallory's execution on our wedding day was flawless, and everything flowed perfectly from one thing to the next which helped make it quite literally the perfect day. We are both very thankful to have been able to work with Mallory over the past year and would recommend her to anyone seeking a wedding coordinator!

Mallory is PHENOMENAL
I got married yesterday but I wanted to write a review for Mallory ASAP because WOW, she made our wedding practically flawless!! We found Mallory to be an excellent planner and coordinator. From the start I felt so at ease talking to Mallory, I knew from our first conversation she was who I wanted to assist planning and executing the vision for our wedding, and my (new!) husband agreed. Mallory is very proactive with her work, often noticing what needs to be done before you do. She is kind, understands your vision well, and is easy for vendors to work with. We found our venue and caterer before we found her, but she nailed it when it came to finding our hair and makeup artist, florist, and DJ. All of which were heavily complimented for their work on our wedding day, and we likely wouldn’t have found them without her! She also looks into small details for you too. She will have you covered! Having Mallory there was like having a big sister who is in your corner while planning your wedding, but especially on your wedding day. You will absolutely not go wrong hiring her. She puts so much care into her work and even checks in with you during the process to make sure you’re pleased with the job she’s doing. I seriously cannot give her enough praise.

Small wedding, big help!
When my partner and I started planning our small/medium wedding, we were sure we could do it all on our own. One location, short ceremony, limited guest list, buffet dinner. But as planning moved forward, we realized that we simply couldn’t do it all AND still really relish and enjoy our day together with all of our friends and family. Mallory and her wife were fantastic in filling those shoes so that we could have the intimate, special day we dreamed of. Mallory’s attention to detail kept problems from happening before we could even realize. From decor assistance, to timeline management, to behind the scenes clean up, she was always on top of it. When my feet were tired on the dance floor and I kicked my heels off, she already had back up sandals on standby! We so appreciate her coming from out of town and keeping our vendors, families, and ourselves organized and feeling our best so that we could get the most out of our day!
