Yes. The GEM offers accessible facilities for guests with mobility needs. We have ramp access at both our main entrance and side entrance under the covered portico, along with wide doorways throughout the venue. Both restrooms also include handicap-accessible stalls.
Yes. The GEM is a stand-alone facility with convenient on-site parking for approximately 70–90 vehicles, giving your guests easy access to the venue without the need for off-site parking or shuttles.
No. Because The GEM holds its own Beer & Wine Permit, outside alcohol may not be brought onto the premises. Beer and wine service can be arranged directly through our team as part of your event.
Our starting rental fee includes setup and cleanup, tables and chairs, and use of many of our on-site décor items, including backdrops, planters, and other available decorations. China, flatware, glassware, dinnerware, and linens are not included in the base rental fee, but our team can easily coordinate those items for you. We can also help bring everything together into a convenient, turn-key event package.
No, our venue is fully insured.
We offer flexible rental options, including hourly rentals with a 4-hour minimum, half-day rentals, and full-day rentals. Full days are typically 12 hours, such as 10 AM–10 PM, while half days are generally 8 AM–2 PM or 4 PM–10 PM, with similar combinations available. Your rental time should include decorating, vendor setup, and preparation time, as access begins at your contracted start time. We’ll work with you in advance on your table and chair layout and typically have them set before you arrive. Additional time may be added for $125 per hour, based on availability.
The GEM is conveniently located in Dayton, approximately 15–20 minutes from Dayton International Airport, with easy access from I-70 and I-75.

Couples who choose Christopher’s for full-service catering may qualify for significantly reduced rental rates — and in some cases, the rental may even be complimentary depending on the date, timing, and event needs. Venue rentals generally range from approximately $800 to $2,500, but we prefer to customize each proposal rather than publish one-size-fits-all pricing.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your event date and time. If an event is cancelled within 72 hours of the scheduled start time, an additional cancellation fee equal to 50% of the remaining balance will apply. Full cancellation terms and payment requirements are outlined in your event agreement.
