Cocktail Hour at the Cocktail Jungle. Your guests will follow a floral-lined, winding garden path to our 30' x 50' covered arbor, where cocktail hour unfolds beneath our shaded, string-lit pergola. It’s a serene, storybook setting to sip and gather between ceremony and reception. This space can also be transformed for more intimate celebrations — accommodating a ceremony of up to 80 guests or a reception for 60 or fewer.

    Stunning venue!

    Absolutely stunning venue. Everything was well cared for. They were super quick and direct with communication. Everything was so easy. The only thing I would change about this venue is having water at the bar for guests to ensure all guests have water through out the night and one less thing for me to outsource.

    The perfect venue

    I’m not even kidding when I say this is the perfect wedding venue! My vision truly came to life here. Hanford Gardens is actually the most beautiful wedding venue I’ve ever seen! You really don’t even need much decor because it’s just perfect on its own! It took me months of searching to find and venue and when I stumbled across them on my deep dive search I knew as soon as I saw it, it was the one! We didn’t even tour because I was so confident, especially with how nice and helpful they were with any information I needed. We had the best wedding ever. They think of every little detail. The getting ready space stunning. Reception area literally like a dream! Even the bathrooms are beautiful. If you’re looking for a beautiful outdoor wedding space for a reasonable price, where you can pick and choose your own vendors, and with amazing helpful owners and staff look no further! I could not recommend this venue enough! The end time might be a little early for some people but we had a little after party in the hotel sutter at the copper room and it was the perfect end to the perfect day! Sutter creek is the cutest little town! So many cute little hotels and stores. Definitely get married here!!!

    The Perfect Wedding Venue

    When my fiancé and I were looking for a venue for our wedding, we had a certain budget in mind that we didn't want to break and the price here was very reasonable for such a beautiful and unique venue. We also wanted a place that could hold a big wedding party in a fun town where all of the wedding party could explore before and after the event. So The Hanford Garden checked all of the boxes for us. Between the unique layout of the property and the lush greenery and flowers scattered all throughout, I pretty much knew right away it was going to be our venue when I first laid eyes upon it. We had the best time at our wedding and Sabrina (The owner) was very helpful and attentive with all of our needs before the big day, so we're very thankful for that. She even helped when one of my Groomsmen left his shoes at the venue by shipping them back to us haha All in all, its an amazing venue and the location is so nice out in Sutter Creek where you and your friends and family will have a great time during all of the festivities. Everything is within walking distance from hotels/venue/bars which is also a huge plus.

    We recently visited The Hanford Garden and wow—pictures seriously don’t do it justice. The space is so beautiful, and you can already see how much love and intention is being poured into it. Sabrina and the new team have been amazing—so helpful, kind, and detail-oriented. You can tell they really care about making every corner perfect and creating an incredible experience for their couples. The communication alone has been impressive. It’s clear they’re investing a lot to elevate the space while keeping its charm. Love love love this venue!

    AMAZING!

    I recently checked out this venue for a wedding tour, and wow, it completely blew me away! The photos don’t even come close to capturing its magic. It’s one of those spots that just feels special the second you step in. Every little detail is so thoughtfully planned, and you can really feel the fresh energy behind it. Sabrina, the manager, was so warm and knowledgeable, and it’s obvious she and the whole team are 100% invested in creating an unforgettable experience. They’re putting in gorgeous upgrades and making sure every inch is on point. Communication has been seamless, super responsive and professional. This place is an absolute gem, and it’s clear it’s in great hands!

Yes, we do not charge corkage fees. However, you must have a licensed and insured bartender serving alcohol. Beer, wine and 2 signature cocktails are allowed. No shots or on the rocks.

Yes, we have up to 40 parking spaces on site. Our venue is within walking distance to 7 hotels and inns, if you are staying in the area, we recommend walking over from your hotel :)
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. However, our driveway and many areas are steep. We highly recommend having assistance when accessing different areas of the venue.
Full day venue access starting at 10am, with the use of basic tables and chairs.
Our venue opens at 10am, with music cut off time at 9pm on weekends. Music cut off time on weekdays is 8pm.
In the event that the client cancels their reservation, all payments made to date are non-refundable, with the exception of the $500 security deposit, which will be returned in full.
Yes. Clients are required to obtain a liability insurance policy for the day of the event, naming The Garden Events LLC as an additional insured. The policy must include: A minimum of $1,000,000 in general liability coverage Host liquor liability coverage, even if alcohol is not being served (to cover situations where guests may bring their own) This is roughly $200-$250 (this can change depending on your insurer) and we can help guide you throughout this process.
