About this venue

Seasonal Catskill mountain farm estate, flower farm and wedding venue. Set at the end of a Catskill Mountain Hollow in Roxbury, NY, this 64 acre farm estate is surrounded on 3 sides by 2,000 acres of forever wild land. It is a magical place. With a country house, flower farm and historic dairy barn it is the perfect backdrop to a outdoor wekeend long celebration. When visitors arrive at the property, it’s immediately apparent that this is an exceptional place. The property is ideally situated “off the beaten path" with magnificent views of the Catskill Mountains stretching endlessly to the south, enveloping guests with a feeling of true serenity. Our guests come to relax, celebrate and create memories that last a lifetime. 1 wedding a weekend - check in 10:00am Friday, check out 2:00pm Sunday. Flowers included from our farm. 1 wedding a weekend. Family style Reception dinner including cocktail hour food 2028 ~$130/pp + tax and gratuity. (preferred caterer). Optional House DJ ~$2,500.

When choosing The Inn at West Settlement, you are selecting a venue where the staff goes above and beyond and the amenities are second to none. Our barn is much more than a remnant from the region’s robust agricultural heyday. The barn has been carefully updated to retain its innate charm, while creating a space we like to call “elegantly rustic.” Even the furniture — including the fabulous bar and tables — is all handcrafted locally and contributes to the warm, relaxed atmosphere.

Perfect wedding weekend!
The Inn at West Settlement was the perfect place for our wedding. Photos can’t even begin to capture the magic of this place. There are flowers EVERYWHERE, the mountains and trees are stunning, and the barn has such a unique charm. Kim is lovely and worked with us very well to make sure our wedding ran smoothly. The rest of the team at The Inn at West Settlement is also AMAZING. We loved working with them and just getting to know them as people. One thing to note is that communication with many of the Catskills vendors we worked with is much easier through phone calls rather than email! That was a learning curve for us - as Gen Z girls, we’re so used to doing almost all our communication via email or text. We used Kim’s recommended vendors for everything and loved every one of them. The food by Stacy was absolutely incredible, dessert (also by Stacy) was beautiful and delicious, our DJ Max (recommended by Kim) was perfect and so easy to work with, the bartending team was so fun and on top of everything, and our photographer Liz who we found through Kim’s recommendation was amazing. One of our favorite things about the weekend was getting to help make the magic happen on Friday. We all had so much fun going through the cutting garden & picking flowers for the bouquets, boutonnieres, and table arrangements. They have so many great decor items (tea light holders, frames, window panes & chalkboards for signage) in their prop room - definitely a major perk of the venue & makes for a fun day-before selecting and setting up your decor! I can’t say enough about how much we loved getting married at The Inn at West Settlement. There is something magical about this place and we are so grateful that we got to celebrate our wedding there. I truly cannot recommend this place enough!

Magical Wedding
There is something so magical about Roxbury, NY and the Inn at West Settlement and that is in part due to Kim, Danny, and their team. We recently got married at the Inn and it was a day we'll never forget. Kim made the planning process so smooth from answering questions, providing recommendations, and working with vendors. The day before - getting to arrange flowers with kim and members of the bridal party was a very special moment I'll cherish forever. The day of - Kim and her team helped shuttle guests to the top of the hill and when it started unexpectedly raining kim, danny and the team had faith - waited it out and we were able to proceed with the ceremony as soon as the rain stopped. During the reception Kim and Danny navigated dinner service and helped seamlessly provide our guests with a dinner they will not soon forget. Danny was a pivotal member in helping the day run smoothly - from helping with parking to rising to the challenge when things needed being done. We cannot thank kim and the staff enough for an experience like no other. Our guests can't stop raving about the place!

The only way I know how to describe my wedding weekend is that it was totally magical Kim and her team pay attention to details and run a very well oiled machine that made wedding planning way less stressful than I heard it was supposed to be. She and her team ie Danny and Aurely were professional and communicative all along the way. The view on the hilltop where the ceremony is was the most beautiful backdrop. Went off without a hitch, it couldn’t have went better, and we’ve had so many people tell us it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to! You will not regret booking the Inn at west settlement and we would make the same choice if we could do it all over again.

Best venue EVER
I had my wedding at the Inn at West Settlement a little under a month ago and to say they made all my wedding dreams come true would be an understatement. The owner/coordinator, Kim, has this incredible calming energy that she brings to every part of the planning process and the day. She’s also an incredible master gardener and the flowers she did for our wedding (included with the venue) were breathtaking. Her staff is professional, attentive, and happy to do anything to make a perfect day. I don’t have enough wonderful things to say about this gorgeous property and grade A team!

Wedding Weekend Perfection!
The Inn at West Settlement, lead by owner and DOC, Kim Lynas, was a dream come true! Kim and her team were amazing. They have curated a gorgeous venue, with incredible landscape and beautiful reception barn. The Farmhouse was a wonderful space to stay and get ready. The barn was the perfectly sized space for our 130 person wedding. Kim had an awesome room of decorations for us to use for our decor needs. We really didn’t need to add anything! From candle holders, table numbers, tons of signs, card boxes, flower vases. The Inn works exclusively with Mary’s Cookin’ catering and Rachel’s bartending team. Their experience and thorough knowledge of the space makes for a smooth and professional service experience for all your food and beverage needs. Kim was open-minded and excited about the vendors we did bring in, helping us pick photographers and DJs from previous weddings she thought would match our vibe. She coordinated with all the vendors seamlessly. Having the space for the entire weekend, including a Friday welcome dinner and Sunday farewell brunch was the perfect way to extend an amazing wedding into a three day event. Friday morning was spent with Kim and her team, putting together bouquets from her incredible flower garden and picking out decor from her collection to create the perfect wedding aesthetic to match our dream look. I can’t say thank you enough to this team! Kim, Danny, Areley, Katrina and many more!
