Amazing venue space

We would gladly give The Magnolia Venue 10 out of 10 for the venue itself. The event space is absolutely beautiful, the views are breathtaking, and the staff, especially Macey, were wonderful to work with throughout the planning process. The team present on the wedding day was professional, kind, and attentive, helping create a truly memorable experience. The reason for our lower overall rating is related to the required/preferred vendor list. While we are sure these vendors are carefully vetted, service levels can change over time, and our experience was not consistently reflective of the high standards set by the venue. Some of our vendors were exceptional, while others fell short of expectations and unfortunately impacted parts of our evening, specifically our bartending service through Tipsy Daisy. Overall, The Magnolia Venue is a stunning location, and we would encourage future couples to thoroughly research reviews on various sites (if a business has limited reviews, those should also raise concerns) before making their vendor selections.

The Magnolia

I cannot say enough amazing things about our experience at the Magnolia. From the start, Macey was so helpful and answered all of my questions quickly! The day of the event, the staff was incredible. They were available for anything we needed. The venue itself is incredible- the views are absolutely gorgeous and people could not stop talking about how incredible the space was. The weather was perfect in mid-September and they were able to open the sliding doors of the reception space which added another layer of gorgeous views and fresh air that people are still talking about a month later! The space is intimate, serene, and absolutely breathtaking. We LOVED the Magnolia and I would recommend it to anyone in a heart beat! I cannot say enough amazing things about it!!!

Oh my, where do I even begin? This place is so close to heaven you can FEEL IT. Every detail from the shuttle, to the bridal suite is perfect. It’s a literal dream come true and if you’re looking for that type of euphoria on your wedding day, the Magnolia is the perfect spot.

The views, the views, and the STUNNING view. Magnolia was the perfect venue for our wedding in June 2026. We immediately fell in-love with it when we virtually toured it as a destination wedding for a bunch of Wisconsinites. What a rush driving up there, but the view and venue is worth it! All of our guests raved about the venue, the facilities, and all the staff that were there. Macey was amazing to work with, great at communication to ensure we didn’t miss or forget anything, and super helpful! Destination weddings can be hard to plan, but Magnolia Venue and Macey made it an easy process. We had 60-ish guests and thought that was perfect - not too tight nor too little. One thing to be fully transparent on - How the shuttle company, schedule, and operation works. A few weeks leading up to the wedding date when we were finalizing head count, pick-up/drop-off locations with the shuttle provider, it seemed we were supposed to revise the wedding day schedule to accommodate the shuttle (which is already tight due to time allowed at the venue). No joke — we nearly panicked thinking we had to shuffle our whole day around to make the shuttle schedule/operation work FOR the wedding (not the other way around like it should). You will likely be directed to use one certain company due to the location and being an approved company. Make sure you work out this detail EARLY so you don’t have to go through what we did. It eventually worked itself out, after forcing our hand to rent another shuttle with a fair deal and pushing for what we wanted… But overall - we would describe the whole situation as slightly misleading regarding shuttling. Even with the slight concern / hiccup, we still would recommend the Magnolia Venue to anyone! Not everything is perfect and everything always works out.
