About this venue

The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

The Perfect Place for DIY and Type-A Brides

For my fellow type-A and creative brides, I wanted my wedding to take place somewhere beautiful, but also customizable. This proved quickly to be difficult to find. DIYing my decor and florals meant that I was to be the one coordinating them which sounded like a nightmare...until I found The Manor at Mountain View, and of course Angie. Nestled in-between two mountains, the Manor is a quiet, picturesque retreat, surrounded by gorgeous ponds, bridges, and stunning florals and greenery. It was the garden retreat I was hoping to find. Inside the facility was clean, simple, and ready to decorate - both with my own decor and also with their fully stocked closet at no additional cost. I was already drawn in by the location, but what really sealed the deal was Angie. Angie is a powerhouse, toting years of experience in catering and weddings. No problem was ever too much for her. I wanted to do all my own florals? Sure! I wanted to DIY 6ft tall wooden signs for my seating chart? Absolutely? If I decided it was too much and I wanted to use theirs? She had it ready. She is the most organized person I have ever met. She remembered me every time I went to a vendor fair before my wedding (I highly recommend, I found my DJ at a huge discount there!). I knew my venue in and out months before my big day. The weeks leading up to the wedding, Angie took over but in the best way. She knew exactly what the schedule should look like. She took several things off of my plate, including volunteering to go to the store and buy flower petals to bag for my ceremony send off so I didn't have to worry about ordering something last minute. All I had to do was bring everything to the space at my rehearsal, answer a few questions, and it was set up perfectly. Day of, Angie worked with me and let me really think about where I wanted the ceremony because of the weather. She knew her venue SO well, that despite the radar I felt confident in having it outside (and we didn't get rained on!). If it did, she had umbrellas hidden everywhere for the full wedding party. She kept the schedule moving, made sure everyone was prepped and ready, and had a Mary Poppins bag on her at all times. A bridesmaid had a stain on her dress, or needed tape, etc, she had something on her to fix it. She helped my mom with my dress corset and calmed our nerves to allow us to have the mother/daughter moment that we wanted. My veil was fixed before I knew it was loose. She had food and drink ready for us after the ceremony and did my bustle herself. For a type-A person that's constantly worried and stressed about logistics, I was able to turn my brain off. I was able to enjoy myself. I was able to see everything that I designed and made looking so so beautiful. The staff were incredible and handled family, guests, wedding party, and vendors seamlessly. The food was terrific, and the ability to have an open bar with no additional charges for bar tenders was so unique and such a cost saving. The costs here are transparent and so affordable for the area. I will always vouch for this venue and the people here because they are incredible at what they do!

    Bride

The Manor at Mountain View was the best venue and I recommend it to all! We felt so cared for and seen during our time working with Angelique and her staff. She really made us feel special. My now husband was recovering from a leg injury during our wedding and they were all so attentive, making sure we were both taken care of and that Cam was not in pain or struggling. She helped us rework some of the set up and our ideas perfectly in response to Cam’s injury. Their knowledge, structure and resources were beyond helpful for us. It felt like they just knew who we were and our vibes and were able to set up and create the exact atmosphere we wanted. The amount of items and aide The Manor staff provides based on budget is beyond compare as well! You are not going to find a better team than the one at The Manor. Their in house caterer is also amazing-we had several people tell us it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding! Thank you Manor team for creating the perfect, most beautiful day for the Manion’s!

    Best night we’ve ever had!

From our first conversation with The Manor at Mountain View, we knew we were working with true professionals who understood exactly what we needed for our wedding day. The venue itself is stunning—the ballroom is incredibly spacious and the outdoor areas are gorgeous, giving us options for every moment of our celebration. We were able to fully customize our tables and other decorations with items provided by The Manor, which saved us a ton of money on things like silverware, flatware, table decorations, etc. The team really showed their experience and flexibility when the bride wasn't feeling well toward the end of the night; they seamlessly adjusted our timeline so we could skip to the final dance and send off early without any stress or complications. One thing to know going in is that The Manor requires you to use their exclusive caterer, WGC Catering, and while the food was outstanding, the cost came in around 45 per plate, with an under minimum fee if you have less than 100 guests. After taxes and the service charge, we paid roughly 4200 just for catering with around 70 guests. Despite that, their knowledgeable staff and willingness to work with us made the entire planning process smooth and our day truly special. We'd absolutely recommend The Manor to any couple looking for a venue that delivers on quality and service.

An Enchanting Venue & a Truly Seamless Wedding Day

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue and about Angie, who owns and coordinates it. From the very beginning, her guidance made the entire planning process so much easier during an otherwise hectic time. She was organized, supportive, and truly a calming presence from start to finish. One of the biggest blessings was the all-inclusive décor. It took such a huge weight off my shoulders, and everything looked absolutely stunning. The venue itself is beautiful, and even on a chilly, overcast November day it felt intimate, warm, and completely enchanting. As for the wedding day, I swear it went off without a hitch. And if anything did go wrong, my husband and I were blissfully unaware, which is exactly what you want on your big day. The entire team clearly knows what they’re doing. It’s a well-run establishment with people who genuinely care about making your wedding perfect. I am so grateful we chose this venue. Not only is the space incredible, but the people behind it truly make the experience unforgettable. I would recommend them a thousand times over.
