The Oak Barn at Loyalty is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue! The property is stunning, with gorgeous views and an elegant barn that creates the perfect atmosphere for a wedding. Barb and Ernie are so kind, organized, and truly care about making every event special. Everything was well maintained, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. I would highly recommend The Oak Barn at Loyalty to anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable wedding venue.

We had such a wonderful experience at the oak barn. The venue is absolutely beautiful and I think the photos speak for themselves. There are so many spots set up for picturesque moments, from the ceremony site to the grand entrance and exit, to the patio lit up at night, and so much more. There were flowers in bloom perfectly placed for our first look, and arches inside and outside ready to be decorated. We had ceremony flowers transferred for the reception and we were allowed to decorate the rafters as well. What you can’t see is that the owners Barb and Ernie are awesome. They were extremely friendly and communicative and always made themselves available for any questions we had. They have a very curated list of vendors they’ve worked with before, which was long enough that it didn’t feel restrictive but really helped us streamline the process because without a starting point, the number of vendors out there is totally overwhelming. We could tell that our planner and caterer knew them well and they were familiar with the venue, which I think helped things run smoothly on our day. The fact that the barn has both heat and A/C gave us so much peace of mind, and even in April things got warm enough that we had cool things down as the evening went on. Barb and Ernie let us bury a bourbon bottle on site a month out from our wedding, a tradition that is supposed to ensure good weather and keep the rain away. The weather on our wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect, and digging it up was a really fun and special part of the day. They were very accommodating to special requests. They don’t usually allow bands, but we wanted to have a live jazz band on the patio for our cocktail hour and they let us. They also let us schedule visits as much as we wanted, so I was able to show my bridesmaids the venue on the way to my bachelorette trip. There are lots of lovely venues out there, but the vendors you choose to work with make just as much of an impact. You spend one day having your wedding, but months and months under contract with them during the planning process. We couldn’t be happier with the venue itself and the experience we had leading up to the wedding.

The Oak Barn is an absolute dream of a wedding venue. Barb and Ernie immediately made us feel like family, and we knew from our first walkthrough that this would be the place we'd get married at. The Bridal and Groom's suites had plenty of space for our bridal party to hang out in, and they had everything we needed for the morning of the wedding. The patio provided the perfect space for cocktail hour, a gathering place for a break from the dance floor, and a picture-perfect grand exit with string lights all lit up. The barn looked absolutely stunning and full of natural light from all the open doors, and the ceremony on the lawn was everything I dreamed of. Barb and Ernie went the extra mile to make sure I had everything exactly the way I wanted it and to make sure I felt calm and comfortable. They always answered any questions we had, coordinated with all our vendors, and checked in on me throughout my wedding day to make sure I had everything I needed. I received so many compliments from my guests about how beautiful the venue was and how much fun they had. I am so grateful to have had such a wonderful experience at The Oak Barn, and to have met Barb and Ernie. This is a place my family will hold in our hearts forever!

What impressed us most was Barb and Ernie’s commitment to making the event a success. From our first tour through planning and execution, they were responsive, helpful, and genuinely invested in creating a great experience for us and our guests. Everything went smoothly, and our family and friends had a wonderful time. I would not hesitate to book another event at The Oak Barn at Loyalty and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with exceptional owners.

5 stars — Gorgeous Venue, Ernie and Barb won’t let your wedding fail If you’re weighing venue options and feeling the anxious about all the coordination that comes with planning a wedding, let me make it simple: book The Oak Barn at Loyalty because the venue is gorgeous and Ernie and Barb (the owners) are fantastic to work with. From our very first visit, Ernie and Barb had a way of making is feel like our wedding was a genuine priority, not just another date on the calendar. That sense of security shaped every decision we made leading up to the day. We knew that whatever vendors we chose, whatever small things went sideways, Ernie and Barb were not going to let our wedding fail. They’re more than willing to let you customize just about anything you want, and always ready with a great recommendation if you’re not sure about something. We ended up booking almost all of our vendors from their curated list of recommendations (Dapper DJs, Classic Catering, all Pro Charters) - all of which worked out perfectly. It ended up raining on our wedding day, but rather than panic, we watched Ernie and Barb work seamlessly alongside our coordinator to adapt, problem-solve, and keep the day moving. The result? An absolutely fantastic wedding. Aside from that - they’re just a lovely couple who were easy and fun to interact with. You really get the feeling they host weddings because they enjoy making the couple’s wedding day special.
