Can't recommend it enough for a group

We can't recommend The River Electric enough for a group buyout. It's honestly the perfect setup — you're in the redwoods in Guerneville, everything's on one property, and nobody has to deal with shuttles or driving home at the end of the night. We loved that everyone could stay right there in the tents, hang by the pools during the day, and then just walk over to the party. Dinner under the sailcloth tent on The Knoll is beautiful, and The Pool Bar is perfect for welcome drinks the night before and hanging out all weekend. It's relaxed and fun, but still really well done — good food and drinks, comfy beds, and the staff makes the whole weekend feel easy. If you want a birthday that feels more like a weekend away with all your favorite people than just a one-night party, this is it.

    Incredible Weekend Retreat

We hosted a group retreat at River Electric and it was such an amazing experience for everyone involved. The entire setting is serene, so well designed, and feels so private even though it's only 2 minutes from downtown. One of the most memorable things for our group was the food & beverage experience. Literally everything we tasted was divine, no notes. Everyone also really enjoyed the elevated camping experience. We felt we got to experience nature in the coziest and well curated environment possible. Will definitely be back!

An absolute haven in the summer time. I have come on busy weekends and slower week days and am absolutely obsessed. I love to bring a nice book during the week to read on a chaise lounge chair. The upgrade comes with poolside delivery service so I can just order from my phone and they bring it out. Shout out to Jenna for always taking a few minutes to chat with me! The bartenders are friendly and make excellent drinks, and the food is amazing! I cannot get enough of the smash burger and poke bowl. There are many gluten free and vegan options so I was able to bring my mom by and share my little slice of heaven with her on mothers day. If you are wanting a pool party definetly come on an adults only Saturday, if you want a reaxing day by the pool come during the week. Normal weekends are pretty kid crazy which makes for great people watching. Highly recommend checking it out!

Hopped up here from oakland for just one night with the kids. Grounds are really beautiful and modern. There is a big pool for kids and a smaller one for adults. I found the kids pool a little cold for little ones and the adult pool was quite warm. Staff was all super nice, food was good, menu is a little limited. Very peaceful and relaxing. Tents were really nice. It was cold but the beds were very comfortable and we warmed up inside of them. Super close to town. They have a fire pit which was nice at dinner, would be great if they offered marshmallows for the kids at night but it would make a mess. Very cool concept, we plan to return.

I went to the locals swim deal on Tuesday. Great deal, very nice place I love the big pool. It would great if the owners could create some shade over the big pool. I was in Australia in 2000 and all the pools had shade awnings so you could be in them in the hot part of the day without getting fried. The adult pool was nice with a corner of shade, the water was a bit less clear, clean feeling than the big pool. I think it gets too much sunscreen oil in it.
