About this venue
The Mudge family, led by Tim and Patty, established Mudge Ranch in 1996, fulfilling their dream of owning a cattle ranch. Three generations now live and work on the 10,000 sq. ft. property, engaging in cattle breeding and hay cultivation. Inspired by family weddings held on-site, Becky Mudge Black, along with her husband Jeremy and brother Chad, envisioned The Venue—a rustic barn extension to Mudge Ranch. Through dedication and love, they've created a charming space where dreams are realized. The Venue offers picturesque views, serving as an ideal setting for weddings and events, embodying the Mudge family's legacy of dreamers.

This rustic barn is a stunning setting for any event, and the surrounding acres of natural vegetation allow for a wide variety of unique and picturesque backdrops. Within the structure itself, The Venue provides both a bridal suite and groom's retreat so that our wedding parties can prepare in air-conditioned, private comfort. Conveniently located on either side of the barn, these rooms are spacious, clean, and enable our couples to relax right on property as they prepare for their big day.

Amazing Venue!
From the moment we toured our venue, we knew it was something special but seeing everything come together on our wedding day was beyond anything we could have imagined. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, and the setup was truly beyond words. Every detail was beautiful, organized, and handled so professionally. The entire team genuinely knows what they’re doing, and it made such a huge difference throughout the planning process and on the wedding day itself. They were incredibly flexible, accommodating, and willing to work with us whenever we needed it, which meant so much during such a stressful time. Our wedding day felt completely stress free because of them. Everything flowed so smoothly, and we were actually able to relax and enjoy every moment instead of worrying about behind the scenes details. I honestly can’t express enough how thankful we are for everything they did to make our day so perfect. We will forever recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful place with an amazing team behind it.

This venue was something truly special. Every detail reflects the love and care that has gone into creating such a beautiful place. The landscaping, the decor, and the furniture perfectly complements the charm and beauty of the entire property. What truly sets this venue apart, though, is the incredible owner and staff. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine passion for what they do made us feel so welcomed and cared for. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and their attention to detail and dedication did not go unnoticed. And is very much appreciated. We are so grateful for the wonderful experience and couldn’t recommend it more highly. If you’re looking for a venue that combines breathtaking beauty with exceptional people, this is the one.
