About this venue
Featuring a working mill, blacksmith shop, active church, and several beautiful historic houses, Waterloo Village is a time capsule surrounded by an air of tranquil beauty. With its rich history, Waterloo Village is the perfect setting for weddings. Boasting two spectacular indoor event spaces—the newly-renovated meeting house and the rustic pavilion—in addition to its spacious outdoor compound, Waterloo has the resources and ambiance to make your special occasion a memorable success. As a remarkably well-preserved example of a 19th-Century canal town and the site of a 400-year-old Lenape Indian village, Waterloo Village is an incredibly valuable piece of New Jersey history. Waterloo is open to the public as part of Allamuchy Mountain State Park and home to many events and educational programs to teach and inform visitors about the past. When you choose Waterloo Village as the setting for your event, a portion of proceeds will go towards the preservation and restoration of the site.

AMAZING
The most perfect day! We got rained out but thankfully the inside ceremony space is just as gorgeous as outside! The staff was very attentive, especially Christine (our wedding planner) and Carly. They even tried to scrub some of the mud out of my dress before I walked down the aisle. They were constantly checking in on us during the reception, coming by our table to ask if we needed anything, especially drinks. They even offered to keep my food warm because dinner came out while I was in the photo booth. What I loved most was that they brought us samples of all the cocktail hour food since we would be missing out while I was getting my dress bustled. We got nothing but compliments on how good the food was!

Dream Wedding 9/18/2026
My wedding was on 9/18/2026, and I am so BLOWN AWAY with how incredible everything was at Waterloo Village. Sindy was our coordinator, and she truly went above and beyond to meet all expectations during the planning stages and on the day of. Wedding venue and coordination: The grounds at Waterloo Village are absolutely beautiful. Granted, the weather was on our side, but one of the biggest deciding factors for us to go with Waterloo was their solid "rain plan" regarding the ceremony. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception areas were in different spaces but in very close proximity to each other, which really gave it an elevated feel. I had a few guests with mobility issues, but they were well taken care of by the venue staff because of the on-site golf cart transportation. Sindy and her assistant, Jordan, were incredible on the day of. So attentive to myself, the groom, the entire bridal party, and our parents and key family members. Sindy was punctual, easy to communicate with, and helped bring my whimsical wedding vision to life. Food and Drinks: Every one of my guests complimented the food and said it was some of the best they have ever had for a wedding. It was abundant and constantly flowing. The cocktails were incredible, and each cocktail matched its specific glassware, which was important to me. The desserts were also incredible, and we went with a funfetti cake, warm chocolate chip cookies (best I've ever had), and the mini gelato cones. There were so many things to choose from, and everything was fresh and amazing. My husband and I hope to be guests at a JAM Hospitality Group wedding to experience the entire event from a different perspective. Everything was great. 1000/10 would recommend Waterloo Village to any couple who wants a whimsical, magical, forest vibe wedding with amazing staff, food, and drinks. One of the absolute happiest days of our lives!

The perfect venue
We fell in love with the venue right when we saw it. The beautiful flowers, alpacas, and rustic but still comfortable space. Everyone was very responsive with planning the wedding through emails/calls. We had our wedding there late August and it was perfect. The food was delicious. The guests enjoyed the indoor/outdoor spaces. Coordinator Sarah who was working with me through JAM is the best, so kind and helpful on my wedding day. All of the staff were kind and lovely.

The Most Magical Night
The JAM Team at Waterloo is amazing to work with. They make planning easy, and guide you the whole way. There are so many options to customize the day. They truly make you feel like a celebrity couple on your wedding day. Carolyn took our complex creative vision and turned it into the most magical, colorful, night! Our guests were blown away by the food, and care the staff put into the whole event. Carly made sure we had everything we needed all night. Peter was so helpful in the morning, and all the suggested vendors we used (EMG, Candid Photography) were incredible.

Bride
We chose Waterloo Village for our wedding and couldn't have been happier with our decision. From the first conversation, the team made everything a breeze with their helpful guidance and kind demeanor that instantly made us feel comfortable, like they were our friends. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous with spacious grounds that gave us room to dream big for our celebration. What sets Waterloo Village apart is how unique the setting is—we got compliments from guests all night about how different and special the space felt compared to typical wedding venues. The staff's superior communication throughout the planning process meant we never had to worry or guess about what was happening next. We'd recommend Waterloo Village to any couple looking for a venue that combines stunning beauty with genuine care and attention.
