    Beautiful garden and wonderful staff

    We chose Woodlands Garden of Decatur for our wedding party photos and couldn't have been happier with the decision. From the start, Betsy was incredibly thoughtful and intentional about every detail—she gave us a thorough tour, worked closely with our photographer to share all the logistics they'd need, and made sure we had exactly what we asked for on the day down to the timing and visitor center setup. She even coordinated a private space for our photos and cleared the visitor center so we could get ready and do our first looks without interruptions. The garden itself is stunning, with towering trees and lush greenery that created the perfect backdrop for our photos, and the private lawn and trails gave us so many creative options to play with. We also loved that our rental fees went directly back to maintaining this beautiful space. If you're looking for a gorgeous, natural venue where the team truly cares about making your day special, Woodlands Garden is the place.

Yes, we have a parking lot for self-parking that can hold 24 cars. We do asks guests to encourage car pooling or ride share for bigger groups. Please feel free to inquire further about overflow parking.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main entrances to both The Overlook and The Pavilion. We have a paved path to The Lawn that also makes it wheelchair accessible.
