One of the best things I’ve ever heard is: “Your wedding video will outlive you.” I fully understand the weight of that statement. Photos help you to remember who was there and what you did, but video makes you remember how it felt. And I want your wedding film to feel like a home movie that your best friend made for you, that preserves real emotion, connection, and memory. A film made by someone who sees and values everything that you are, individually and together. These are the moments that make up a life. You deserve to experience them fully and completely, and let me handle the rest.

I love how personal this job can be and I truly treasure the relationships that I get to build with my clients. I’ve been shooting video for about ten years. After getting my BFA in film production, I worked in the commercial video world, on music videos, covered live events, but my heart lies in the wedding industry.

    Oh my, where to start! Choosing Bess was by far one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! People tend to say "how many times will you really watch your wedding video?" Well, from Bess?? The limit does not exist!! She is INCREDIBLE. Top tier human and videographer. Our video is nostalgic, personal, and STUNNINGLY captured. She didn't miss a single detail. We just cannot stop watching it. From the first meeting, Bess was welcoming, communicative, and attentive to the vision we had for our wedding day. She made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process and it was so easy and delightful to have her around the day of. I knew I could trust her with something so special. Just book her. Just do it!!!

My highlight films run anywhere between 5-10 minutes in length. I structure my films based on the key emotional moments that occur on your wedding day, such as first looks, speeches, vows/letters, etc. My top priority is telling your love story honestly and meaningfully.
Full day coverage does NOT mean that I will be with you for 12+ hours on your wedding day, because that’s typically unnecessary. What it DOES mean is that you will have the freedom to plan your timeline without worrying about how many contracted hours you booked me for. When your timeline is finalized, I'll talk with you/your planner to figure out when is best for me to arrive and depart.
Unfortunately, no, but I strongly believe it’s for the better. Picking music is a huge part of my creative process, as it’s really the driving force behind your film. I use that as my inspiration as I start my music search, while also making sure my choices reflect who I am as an artist.
2-4 months, depending on which season your wedding falls in. I usually have a high volume of weddings in the spring/fall months as opposed to the summer/winter months and I try to edit all of my films in the order that they were shot to make sure everyone gets to see their film as quickly as possible.
I require a signed contract and 1/3 of the total cost up front as a security deposit. The remainder is due any time on/before the day of the wedding to give you some flexibility in how you pay. Some people like to pay that all as one lump sum, some like to give me a check day of, and some prefer structured payment plans. Just let me know what’s right for you and we’ll make it happen!
