About Far & Found Films

Liam Farrell

Far & Found Films provides cinematic wedding videography and video production in Kingston, NY, and the Hudson Valley. Founded by filmmaker Liam Farrell, we create wedding films, personal stories, and brand videos for small businesses. Our approach combines natural moments, thoughtful editing, and storytelling that captures the people, places, and details that make each project unique. From wedding celebrations to the story behind your business, we create films that feel personal, authentic, and true to you.

I build every film around the real sound of your day: your vows, the toasts, the things your people actually said. I also film every wedding for two screens at once, a cinematic film for the TV and native vertical edits made for your phone, so you're not stuck cropping a widescreen film to post it. I'm based in Kingston and have spent more than 10 years behind the camera at weddings, so I know these venues, the light up here, and how to work alongside your photographer without getting in their shot. And you deal with me from the first call to the final film. Travel anywhere in the Hudson Valley and the Catskills is included.

    DO NOT HESITATE BOOK NOW

    Liam worked with us for over a year for our wedding - from engagement films to last dance - and every step of the way they were friendly, professional and amazing at what they did. He was very approachable when discussing budget and our vision for our wedding - delivering everything we expected and more. We’ll be able to look back at the amazing films he took and remember everything about our day. His team also did a great job making us feel comfortable during all our shoots as we aren’t used to getting stuff like that done. The final result was very natural looking and captured every moment.     This video team is fantastic!
