Films by NMR creates wedding films that feel like memories, not productions. My approach blends documentary-style storytelling with an editorial eye, capturing the real emotions, movement, voices, and little in-between moments that make your wedding uniquely yours. I’m drawn to films that feel timeless, cinematic, and deeply personal while still allowing you to actually experience your day instead of constantly performing for the camera.

I don’t want your wedding film to feel like everyone else’s. Rather than heavily staging the day or following a formula, I focus on what is naturally happening around me, the conversations, laughter, nervous moments, glances, movement, and real audio that bring the day back to life. My films can blend cinematic imagery with documentary-style storytelling, giving you something beautiful enough to feel like a film but honest enough to still feel completely like you.

Description

More than an engagement session, this is a mini film created around the two of you. Before filming, we’ll plan a specific concept, style, location and overall feel together. Then we’ll spend up to 2 hours bringing it to life, with time for getting ready, details and the actual shoot. Romantic, editorial, vintage, playful or completely your own. Includes your finished engagement film + 10-15 high-quality cinematic stills. One location + travel within 30 minutes included

Created for intimate weddings and elopements with fewer than 20 guests. Every film is customized around your day and story. Final pricing may vary based on coverage time, location and travel.

    Never Skip the Videographer

    Working with Films by NMR was such a smooth experience from start to finish. She got back to us right away whenever we had questions and made everything feel easy and stress-free. During the wedding day, she was there helping out with so many tasks and made sure I felt supported as the bride. She also worked really well with our photographers, which meant everyone was on the same page. Our highlight video came back incredibly fast and looked absolutely stunning. The full video captured our day perfectly—the music, the color grading, and the authentic moments all came together in such an artsy way. We couldn't have asked for better! We loved NMR! We didn't know if we'd get a videographer at all, but a few weeks before the wedding we decided it was worth it. Maggie was affordable, but came back with amazing quality videos, and we are so grateful we didn't skip out on the videographer in the end.

    Encapsulating our special day

    We knew Films by NMR was the right choice when Nicole got back to us so quickly with our footage. Her communication throughout the entire process was clear and professional, which made planning feel effortless. What really impressed us was how fast she turned around a polished product—we had videos ready within days of our wedding. Nicole captured individual reels for Instagram from each event, which meant we had content ready to share while our guests were still celebrating with us. She managed to preserve moments that honestly would have gotten lost in all the excitement, and the final videos are just stunning. Definitely! While we are based in Rexburg, Idaho, we’re available for destination weddings worldwide. If your wedding is over 50 miles outside my area, we’re happy to come to your city for an additional fee to cover the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations. Please advise if you have accommodations or a room block prices can be a lot lower for travel.
Absolutely. Reach out anytime to ask about our special pricing for elopements! Please note your elopement must have fewer than 20 total guests.
Yes! We do event based insurance. We’re happy to have coverage for your event and send a copy of the certificate of liability insurance to your venue or any other vendors upon request.
We can potentially film while there is light rain, but unfortunately, we cannot film outdoors in heavy rain or other inclement weather conditions like hail and heavy snow storms.
Once you know your wedding date, we recommend reaching out as soon as possible to check our availability. We film a limited number of weddings every year to ensure our couples receive the highest quality service, so our calendar typically fills up months in advance. If your wedding is in peak season (April-June, and September) I would advise to book several months in advance to ensure availability. However sometimes your date could be/become available weeks before, so I suggest to reach out either way.
All footage we film is edited in-house by Nicole Margaret Roberts our Head Filmmaker
We can offer same day edits for Wedding Content Creation at an extra cost. Wedding Films do take weeks to complete.
All wedding packages include one videographer. It is highly recommend adding a second shooter for more complete ceremony coverage. A second shooter allows us to incorporate multiple perspectives into your film—from each partner’s reactions to the processional, vows and guest reactions—while making sure the main moments are continuously covered. A second shooter is also helpful for larger weddings, multiple locations or overlapping moments throughout the day.
Not at all! We want you to experience your wedding day rather than spend the day performing for a camera. We capture genuine moments as they happen and step in with direction when its helpful or wanted, Our goal is to create a beautiful, cinematic film that still feels like you, and what your wedding day actually felt like.
We don't create every wedding film to fit the same predetermined runtime. Your film is built around YOUR wedding. That means your story and the moments we capture. Some weddings naturally create longer films than others. Our goal is to tell your story beautifully rather than add or remove moments simply to reach a specific length. Things that can make your film longer are keeping the ceremony mostly intact. We can keep those full vows and speeches in the film if you decide you want them. We will also ask you after the event if your main shot list remains the same because planning your event and living it may change what you want in the film.
Yes! Real audio is an important part of our wedding films. Of course if you do not want audio that is perfectly fine too. We are completely set up to record with professional audio equipment to capture vows, speeches, and candid moments. We then weave those voices into your film when they fit your story. We want you to remember not only what your wedding looked like, but what it felt like. If you do end up wanting speeches and toasts, we will need to coordinate with DJ/MC/Sound person, and those speaking to make sure they are recorded with the best clarity. So if this is something you would like, let us know after booking.
Cinematic stills are high-quality images selected from your professionally filmed footage. They give you another way to keep and share some of my favorite frames from your film. Engagement's, save-the-date's, elopement's and select wedding packages include cinematic stills.
Wedding content creation is separate from your professionally filmed wedding footage. Throughout the day, I also capture candid iPhone photos and videos—the little behind-the-scenes and in-between moments you’ll want to relive and share. Depending on your package, this can also include edited vertical content for Reels or TikTok, same day Airdrop or shared album uploads, and on demand social media posting.
Some destination packages already include travel for select locations. For weddings outside those areas, travel is quoted based on your location and plans. If you’re able to provide accommodations, include me in your hotel arrangements or offer access to a discounted room block, that may help reduce the travel costs. We’ll go over everything before booking so there are no surprises.
