Colson is a Los Angeles-based director and cinematographer specializing in 16mm and Super8 film. He combines classic film with modern techniques to transform every wedding into a love story reminiscent of old Hollywood – a love film.

By leaning into the colors and textures of the medium and pushing it to new depths in the editing room, he is able to craft each moment into a seamless story for couples who are looking for something equally nostalgic and cinematic.

I'm sure the highest quality digital videos are beautiful, but there’s something about Colson’s film videos that feels so timeless and even more special!

Yes, I am available for destination weddings worldwide! If your wedding is over 50 miles outside of the Los Angeles metropolitan area, I'm happy to come to your city for an additional fee that covers the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations.
Absolutely. Reach out anytime to ask about special pricing for elopements! Please note your elopement must have fewer than 10 total guests.
Once you know your wedding date, I recommend reaching out as soon as possible about my availability. My calendar typically fills up months in advance as I film a limited number of weddings per year to ensure that couples receive the highest quality service. That being said, I will always do my best to accommodate when I can so it doesn't hurt to reach out even on short notice!
