About The Heartfelt Narrative
Ashlee Vroom
Hey! I'm Ashlee, the filmmaker behind The Heartfelt Narrative. I'm based in New Bedford and have been filming weddings across New England since 2017. I'm hands-off by design. No posing, no directing, and no turning your day into a film set. I fade into the background so you can be fully present, and I catch what matters most: every word of your vows, full toasts, your family on the dance floor, and the little moments you didn't even notice. Honestly, I'm awkward on camera too, so I get it if you're nervous. Most of my couples say they forgot I was there. Collections start at $2,900. I'd love to hear about your day!
I take on no more than 15 weddings a year, so every couple gets my full attention. I'm the lead filmmaker at every wedding I book, always. I've never deleted a single wedding file since 2017, so your footage is archived and backed up for good. And every collection includes a complete ceremony edit, so you can relive every word, not just the highlights. Twenty years from now, you'll hear everyone exactly as they sounded that day.

Ashlee is so worth it!!
Where do I begin? Ashlee was so amazing from the very beginning and we had no doubts that she was going to give us such an amazing wedding video. She was a rockstar on the day of the wedding, lugging around her cameras all while 7 months pregnant!! On the wedding day, we hardly even noticed she and her second videographer were there, because they just worked so well together and allowed my husband and I to just embrace the day together without feeling like a camera lense was in our face. When we got our wedding video, my husband and I poured glasses of champagne, got comfy on the couch, and watched it on our TV. When I tell you I was smiling from ear to ear while watching the whole thing, I am not exaggerating. I also had happy tears rolling down my face because of how beautifully she pieced our most important moments together. Our videos are timeless and we will forever be grateful for Ashlee.

Captured Our Day So Perfectly!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Ashlee and her company! One of my best friends hired her a few years ago for wedding videography, and I was so impressed with her work that I immediately asked for her information after my husband and I got engaged. It was clear right away that she genuinely cared about capturing our day in the most meaningful way. On our wedding day, Ashlee and team arrived right on time, was completely professional, and worked seamlessly with our photographer. The highlight reel captured our day perfectly — beautifully weaving together moments from the ceremony, reception, and all the in-between details with the audio from our vows and speeches. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a more stunning highlight video to relive our wedding day (and yes, I’ve watched it many, many times already!). Incredible videographer!
We had an engagement shoot done in Boston and she was so professional and made us feel very comfortable! The video editing was lovely and really captured our relationship, I love the added interview aspect on top of video clips. Would 100% recommend!
