We are a happily married couple and before starting our business, Mark worked as a photojournalist and Emily focused on fine art photography. We love weddings - from start to finish, we are there for you to make sure we meet all your needs and to make beautiful photographs that will last a lifetime.

Having the two of us as lead photographers gives you a great variety of images from two different perspectives. With over a decade of experience we can handle any situation and guide you through your day to help make your wedding day memorable and fun!

    If you're looking for photographers who go above and beyond, I can't recommend Emily and Mark enough. One of the things that sets them apart is that you get two photographers, not a photographer and an assistant. Having two experienced photographers meant they were able to capture every angle, every reaction, and all of those candid moments that would have otherwise been missed. Beyond their talent, they were simply a joy to work with. They were flexible with our schedule, easygoing throughout the entire process, and incredibly accommodating when plans shifted. From the start, they made everything feel effortless. What impressed us most was how discreet they were during the event itself. During cocktail hour and the reception, they blended seamlessly into the background. Somehow they managed to capture all the meaningful moments without ever making us feel like cameras were constantly in our faces. And then there are the photos: they are absolutely stunning. Every image feels natural, authentic, and beautifully composed. Emily and Mark have a remarkable ability to capture not just what happened, but how it felt. As an added bonus, they sent us a sneak peek just a couple of days after the event, which was such a fun surprise to relive the day so quickly. The full gallery followed soon after, and the turnaround time was much faster than we expected. If you're looking for photographers who are professional, talented, unobtrusive, flexible, and genuinely wonderful people to work with, Emily and Mark are an easy recommendation.     Amazing Photographers

    Emily and Mark were amazing to work with. They did both our engagement photos and wedding photos. They were super professional and helped to make us comfortable in front the camera. Mark and Emily are super organized and helped our day run smoothly -- they experts at weddings!

    We had the best time working with Emily & Mark for both our wedding day and engagement photos. They helped us enjoy our wedding day to the fullest and made us feel so comfortable. They went above and beyond to help us coordinate a timeline and the photos we wanted to capture. Super easy to communicate with from start to finish and worked so well with our other vendors.     The best team!

    Thomson & Thomson was the first vendor we booked after solidifying our venue. Emily and Mark were a dream to work with! We did our engagement shoot with them about a year before our wedding. As two people who do not always feel natural in front of the camera, Emily and Mark made us feel comfortable and at ease right away. Our engagement pictures were perfect and made us even more excited to work with Emily and Mark on our wedding day. Our wedding day was rainy, cold, and windy - far from the idyllic spring day we had imagined. Emily and Mark stayed positive and worked with us to find spots around our venue that felt natural and still allowed us to capture a variety of shots in different settings. They were incredible in making the most out of less-than-ideal weather. More than their photos, they are just both great people to be around and we thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with them. They are friendly and personable, and assertive enough to wrangle our families for our larger group shots. They gave us our sneak peek pictures the night after our wedding, ahead of when promised, and their work is simply gorgeous. Their photos feel real, authentic, and true to how we experienced the day. It's hard to put into words, but the photos they captured feel like us and we couldn't have asked for anything more.     Great photographers!

    Emily & Mark were amazing to work with, I instantly felt at ease with them during our first phone call and my engagement session. They listened to my concerns re: posing and gave me thoughtful ideas on how to pose to look my best and feel confident. Emily and Mark also provided us with an extensive 10 page planning guide, as well as multiple phone calls to ensure the wedding day went smoothly. Our entire wedding party commented how quick and efficient Mark and Emily were taking the wedding portraits were. I was able to use their guide to help coordinate with my other vendors and make a timeline for my friends and family. I could not be happier with my decision to hire Emily and Mark, and I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Typically, couples book us about 10-12 months before their wedding date. We encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about our availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Since we are co-owners we always shoot your wedding together so you will get more photos and a greater variety compared to a single photographer (even with an assistant) Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. We also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
No, we prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. We do have a list of videographers we have worked with over the years that do great work.
Our turnaround time varies by season. We always send a "Sneak Peek" of about a dozen images within a day or two. Typically, you’ll be receive your final photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding at which time you can share them with your loved ones and order prints.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Absolutely! Just let us know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and we’ll send that over to them.
In our 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, we’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that one or both of us are unable to photograph your wedding, we’ll make sure you’re covered by one of our colleagues and also provide you with a list of photographers from our network, so you can find the perfect replacement.
