This is what David Kelly and Ciaran Sheehan set out to accomplish when they built their first Rí Rá pub in Charlotte, NC in 1997. They set to work in Dublin to meticulously restore the unique Victorian bar in the middle of the Charlotte pub. Rí Rá is located in Charlotte's busy banking district. Since opening, it has become a favorite hot spot for downtown locals and visitors alike. The pub is unique in that it was built from an actual old pub in Ireland. It was first built in the early 1800s for the officer's mess in the Phoenix Park Barracks in Dublin.

Our original focus was on small-batch beer in the traditional Belgian and German style brews. In 2016, we found our stride, creating the original hazy IPA in North Carolina, CitraQuench'l. Since then, we have worked tirelessly to expand our portfolio, now ranging from hazy IPAs and pilsners to fruited sours and adjuncted stouts.
