“Where to start - Josh (DJ Topedo) is an extremely personable and professional person, first of all. His introduction, process, meetings, etc. were all extremely seamless, made us feel comfortable, really got to know who we are and what we were looking for, and generally a smooth experience from start to finish. We wanted a DJ who would actually mix tracks and take our inputs for song selections and preferences seriously and stick to it - and DJ Topedo delivered! From the App platform that is used to help provide timeline details, to song selection via streaming platforms, to even us requesting to mix in video game/pop culture sound bytes into the tracks later in the night - it was a super intuitive way to provide this input, and he guided us through it all (and reviewed multiple times with us). It's so nice to have that level of organization when it comes to something as intricate as your wedding day-of timeline and making sure the right songs are playing at the right times. This also goes for the MC aspect of DJ-ing, which Josh was flawless in - even last-minute adjusting the wedding party introduction order due to a mixup on our end. We also loved how DJ Topedo offered so many options for uplighting, video vs. photo booths (we went with the video booth), and even a videographer (which we opted for). He really does offer an all inclusive turnkey package for whatever you're looking for, it really gives you peace of mind. All his equipment and setup is top notch, clean, and it was a totally hands-free experience the day-of. Additionally, we opted for DJ Topedo specifically to DJ our wedding, and we couldn't have been happier. If you're looking for the best DJ in the DC area, DJ Topedo is it.”

“We used Jeremy as the DJ for our wedding in 2018, and he was an absolute star. He did the music at my company's holiday party the year before, and we knew we wanted to find him for our wedding! His organization and professionalism were top notch - and filling out the "must play" and "must not play" lists was really fun to do - we got to think about all of our favorite songs that we were excited to hear, and make sure he knew which songs were off limits for us. Because of that, our wedding felt super personalized, and we loved every song that played! We were also particularly thrilled with his execution of cocktail hour - we requested instrumental versions of modern/classic rock songs, and he found SO MANY great versions of so many great songs. When we talk to family and friends about our wedding, they without fail mention how much they loved the instrumental version of "Wake Me Up Inside" by Evanescence. After our wedding, we recommended him to friends of ours and we got to see him again at their wedding the following year! I would give him more stars than 5 if I could.”

“Every time someone asks me what the highlight of our wedding was, I laugh — because as much as I loved each moment that I spent with my new husband, the real answer is THE BAND. From the second those opening chords of “Hot To Go” hit, I genuinely felt like I had died and gone to heaven. The energy was unreal. The dance floor was packed, the vibe was electric, and it was everything I had dreamed of and more. The lead singers were not only exceptionally talented, but also so kind, warm, and gracious. I have a musical background, and after a martini, I felt brave enough to join this marvelous band on stage, and they made me feel like an absolute rockstar (even though I’m quite sure I didn’t sound like one). You know him as DJ Casanova, but around the office, we just call him Jamie. Back in the day, he was just a child of immigrants recording his favorite songs over his parent’s cassette tapes (sorry Mom and Dad) so he could listen to them on his prized Walkman. Jamie entered the DJ field in 2009, and before long he was spinning something at a different party every week. We had a call with our DJ (Mike) a few weeks before and he was great at going over logistics with us and getting to know our personalities and wedding vibe. “Jason was great throughout the whole process! He was great at communicating and making sure he had all of the songs that we wanted (and didn’t) throughout the night. He also did a great job at adjusting the songs played based off of what our guests responded well to so people were on the dance floor all the time which I loved!! He collected a bunch of photos from us and displayed them on a screen that’s built into his DJ booth (I don’t know what it’s called) and many guests came up to us to specifically tell us that they loved seeing our pictures of us and our relationship as well as pics of us growing up. It’s something I don’t even think of doing, but Jason offered and I’m so glad he did! He also set up a photo booth that was very popular. He was great at making sure that things that I needed were just taken care of and went out of his way to coordinate with my wedding planner and kept me in the loop which I appreciated. We had a ton of kids at our wedding and he did a great job at playing clean (and popular) music that wasn’t raunchy. If I have any other events I’ll be sure to book Jason and I’d highly recommend him to any of my friends and family!”
