“We knew Cover Story was the perfect choice for our wedding from our very first call with Chris. Chris and Elena made the entire planning process clear and easy from start to finish. They brought their expertise and guidance exactly when we needed it, while still giving us plenty of room for creative input. The whole collaboration felt natural and seamless. They made us feel totally safe asking all of our questions and took care of everything, working with our venue effortlessly. The performers on the day were phenomenal, and our guests are still talking about it! Their talent was incredible, and they were kind, fun, and professional to work with. Our ceremony guitarist learned our entrance songs and performed them beautifully. Our special dances were played from mp3 and were timed perfectly. Even though we honestly didn't give them much direction for timing, they just nailed it! And then the party! Our family and friends love to dance, and the band kept the energy high all night long. They even learned a couple of extra songs for us that sounded amazing. Their talent is honestly unreal. They definitely were supposed to take more breaks than they did, but they just kept playing, and even gave us an encore. After the wedding, we got to chat with some of the band members, and they were all so kind and genuinely cool people. The entertainment really shapes the overall atmosphere of a wedding, and because of Cover Story, our wedding day was perfect. We'd recommend Cover Story for any event, hands down!”

One of the highlights was when they split my father-daughter dance, playing a sweet song for the first half and then transitioning into our favorite upbeat song "All Star" by Smashmouth, which got the whole wedding up and dancing. We couldn't have asked for a better band to make our special day so memorable.The morning after so many guests came up to us raving about how fun they had dancing and singing. From the B52’s Love Shack, Zombie by Cranberries, to Chapelle Roan Pink Pony club- Business Time absolutely rocked it. Not to mention the acoustics for the ceremony made my husband cry. “DJ Shyne is the difference between a good wedding and a once-in-a-lifetime, next-level, unforgettable experience. Hiring him was the single best decision we made for our wedding. He is outstanding—a true artist in his craft. It’s so clear that he’s not only dedicated to his profession but also deeply loves what he does. We gave DJ Shyne what we thought was an impossible challenge: blend pop hits, Spanish tunes, emo throwbacks, Disney jams, booty-shaking hip hop, and a long list of theme songs from our favorite TV shows and movies (everything from The White Lotus to Saw). On top of that, we added a handful of random, deeply personal songs you’d never expect at a wedding. What happened? Not only did he execute this perfectly, but he became the catalyst for a wedding that felt curated exactly to US—spinning a history of us both as individuals and our journey together woven into a seamless soundtrack. His mixing was unique, unexpected, and so much fun. As the bride, there was no place I wanted to be except on that dance floor. Our guests went wild. Compliments poured in all night and days after. “Joseph and Erika truly MADE our wedding. Music was one of my big things to nail for the day and I am SO GLAD I found and chose these two. Their communication style was efficient, kind, personable, accommodating, and responsive, and the quality of their work was nothing short of talented, unique, perfect, and passionate. They allowed my bridesmaid to sing the first dance/acoustic singalong at the end, had the crowd BUMPING all night but especially during their last performance. They also curated the folk music of my dreams during cocktail hour. As an aside, I've been to so many weddings with microphone issues during vows and the sound systems and microphone settings were also super on point. It's a small detail but a great one to trust to get right! Do yourself a HUGE favor and book them- my guests and I will never stop raving about them!!”

“These two made our night incredible! We had the best reception ever thanks to them! DJ Tavo accommodated our requests with ease and also offered a lot of helpful advice in the planning process. They did bilingual introductions so both families could be included in on the fun. The music was the perfect mix of party/spanish music which is exactly what we were looking for. We even had guests coming up to us saying that they loved our DJ! We also had a unplanned, surprise speech from the mother of the groom in Spanish that DJ Tavo translated to English on the spot. “One of the best DJ'S EVER! We used HiMotive Entertainment for our wedding and when I tell you that these people are professional, I mean it. David gave us suggestions on why certain lighting changes the whole vibe of the events. Used him for three events and all three were phenomenal. I'm talking people getting picked up on shoulders phenomenal. I still have family members messaging me a week back telling me how much they loved the DJ and MC. The MC at our reception was great as well. He got almost every single person engaged in the event and was able to get almost every person on the dance floor and no one left the dance floor. “In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”
