You're looking for more than someone to press play. I'm Marty Miserandino, better known as DJ Marty Miz, an owner-operated wedding DJ/MC serving the North Shore, Greater Boston and Cape Ann. When you hire Marty Miz Events, you work directly with me from our first conversation through your last dance. What I care about most is your experience. I want to understand what's important to you, help you figure out what's possible, and put the pieces together so you can enjoy one of the best days of your lives. The music matters, but it's only one part of creating a great wedding.

Professional, fun and never cheesy. I pay attention to the whole experience not just what's happening on the dance floor. I read the room, look for opportunities, and check in throughout the night to make sure everything is going the way you hoped. I'm always looking for ways to make your wedding even better than you expected. I know how important the right music and the right energy are at the right time. I stay current with today's music, millennial throwbacks and creative mixes, but the goal isn't to show you what I can do as a DJ. It's to help you have your Best Day Ever.

Everything you need for a packed dance floor and unforgettable photos: DJ/MC ($1,990), uplights ($755), and Digital Photo Station ($755). I'll coordinate everything, read the room, and bring the right energy at the right time while your guests create memories at the photo booth. Save $1,000 compared to booking separately.     Mother Of The Bride

    Marty was a pleasure to work with from the first phone call we made right through the last song at my daughter's wedding. Family connections are important to Marty and he incorporates those into the night, personalizing the reception in however the bride and groom choose. Though he is organized and well planned, Marty balances that with a wonderful sense of spontaneity that makes the party a blast and keeps the dance floor going! We look forward to hiring him again.

    Best DJ

    Marty was an absolute pleasure to work with. The music from start to finish was perfect. Marty played the songs I requested but also played music to keep the vibe of the room going. Everyone was raving about the set list. He also had a photo booth that was a huge hit with all my guest. I would recommend Marty to any bride looking for a DJ or anyone in need of an event DJ!

    Marty is the best at what he does!

    You're getting more than a DJ. We are very grateful and lucky to have had Marty as our Wedding DJ. Helping us structure the wedding, MC-ing for us, and a fantastic job as the DJ (music selection, feeling & flowing the Wedding energy). We had so many guests mention how incredible the Wedding DJ was! Personally, Marty is extremely professional, very positive, has great energy, and very responsive/accommodating which is a must for a wedding. PS: Get the upgrade on the Bundle!!     Best Night Ever!

    We cannot say enough amazing things about Marty Miserandino! Marty was truly the best DJ & MC and kept our wedding night flowing seamlessly from beginning to end. From the introductions, cake cutting, and special announcements to every moment in between, he made sure everything stayed on schedule while keeping the energy fun and exciting all night long. He handled our ceremony music, reception music, ballroom uplighting, and digital photo booth, and every detail was absolutely perfect. The uplighting transformed the ballroom beautifully, and the digital photo booth was a huge hit with all of our guests! The dance floor was packed the entire night, and the music was absolutely top notch. Marty knew exactly how to read the crowd and keep everyone dancing and having an amazing time. On top of that, he was so easy to work with throughout the entire process — professional, organized, and genuinely cared about making our wedding day perfect.     Our wedding with Marty - August 9, 2025!

    Marty from MC DJ Marty Miz was an incredible addition to our wedding day. From the start, he spent a lot of time with us going over every detail to ensure our special day went smoothly. He provided great suggestions and recommendations that really helped us feel prepared and confident. On the day of, Marty's skills as a master of ceremonies were on full display. He had an incredible knack for reading the room and playing the perfect music to keep the dance floor packed all night long. One of the most special moments was when Marty thoughtfully arranged for my mom, who is ill with leukemia, to have a mother-daughter dance with me, and then my daughter was able to dance with her mom and so on!Marty's kindness, consideration, and professionalism made him an invaluable part of our wedding, and we highly recommend him to any couple looking for an amazing DJ and MC.

My wedding DJ/MC packages start at $2,200 for 5 hours and $2,500 when ceremony coverage and a 6th hour are included. Yes. I’m your DJ and MC. I guide the flow, make clear announcements, and coordinate with your planner, venue, and vendors so you can just enjoy the night.
That’s the goal. I read the room in real time and blend your must-plays with crowd-pleasers so the dance floor stays full without cheesy tricks. Which 3–5 must play songs feel like “you”?
I’ve worked at most, if not all, of the top local venues and happily coordinate with your team. If it’s a new location, I scout setups or connect with the venue so nothing’s left to chance. Which venue are you celebrating at?
Yes it's a service I offer. Full‑room wireless uplighting and dance floor lighting are available. It makes the room feel like a celebration and looks great in photos. Would you like me to include uplighting in your options?
Absolutely. I coordinate set lists, transitions, and band breaks so it feels like one seamless party. I can integrate with their system when appropriate and bring my own controller/backup. Will you be having a band as well as a DJ?
Yes, fully insured, and I always bring backup equipment. Do you need me to send a COI to your venue?

Yes. When you hire Marty Miz Events, you're hiring me. You'll plan your wedding with me, and I'll peronally DJ and MC your wedding Day. If a true emergency ever prevented me from being there, I have relationships with other professional DJs in the area. I've been that emergency backup for other companies myself, and I have those same connections if I ever needed them.
For more than 20 years, I performed weddings and events through NuImage Entertainment. During that time, most client feedback and evaluations were collected internally rather than posted publicly to my personal profile.
