The Red Barn, built in 1910 by Mike’s great-grandparents Ernest and Helen Faling, was inherited by Mike in the 1980s. He transformed it into a home where he raised his three daughters. On August 6, 2016, Mike’s oldest daughter held her wedding on the property, inspiring the creation of a wedding and lodging venue. Named "Little Flower Barn" (from "Fiorillo," meaning "Little Flower"), the venue honors the family heritage. In early 2019, Mike and his partner Sarah remodeled the Red Barn to accommodate 17 guests, constructed a reception barn for 300 guests, and added a pond-side amphitheater garden. The old school just down Leonard is now Leona Road. A modern event venue in Grand Rapids with weddings on the mind. The walls are the same but the stories they’ll tell are all new. Originally built in 1916 as West Leonard Elementary School and fully renovated in 2020–2021, Leona Road is a wedding and event venue with Scandinavian Modern styling from the experienced team behind The Cheney Place, Fringe Events and PUNCH Bar Catering. With 19,000 square feet, a large outdoor terrace and free onsite parking, there is plenty of room to host your wedding for up to 300 guests.

The only private event space offered at Founders, The Centennial Room features a fully-staffed bar with eight taps (including one nitro tap), and can accommodate groups up to 65 seated (with additional seating for 50 on the deck.) Located on the second story of our facility, the room has a small lounge area with comfortable leather chairs and two walls of windows - east and south-facing - looking out over the city of Grand Rapids. Our wraparound porch connects to the event space via two glass-garage doors. The room is outfitted with three large flat-screen televisions and a retractable projector screen for PowerPoint or video presentations. A podium with a microphone can be available for any speeches or group announcements. The Centennial Room can be booked in 3-hour minimum blocks. Additional time can be added at a price per-hour charge if available.

On-site bathrooms, dressing rooms, firepit area as well as an outside bar. All tables and chairs are provided as well as wood high back chairs for head table. We also offer many rental items for decoration, centerpieces etc. We are not vendor picky, you pick all of your own vendors. We do require a licensed bartender to serve all alcohol and we also require a one day special event insurance. 130 person capacity. We do require a 25% deposit to book your date the remainder is structured on a payment plan.
