Ever Be Floral - Event Design & Flower Preservation
Rating: 4.9 (10 reviews)
·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Burlington, NC

Hi, there! I’m Chelsea - I’m so glad you are here! After spending time at a local floral shop in college, I knew I wanted to be a part of this work of creating art with flowers - where they can be tailored to the people they were designed for and where they can create feelings of romance and intention. Since the initial leap of faith in 2018, over 600 couples have been served and loved on by our team. It is one of my greatest joys getting to play this role. It certainly could not be done as a one-man show, though. To create art in this way takes a village, and I’m certainly thankful for mine that you will see all throughout Ever Be events.

Working with Michael has been an absolute joy! From the start, he appreciated my vision for a bold, colorful, and unique wedding vibe—and completely nailed it. His mood board was spot-on and made me even more excited for the big day. My fiancé and I first worked with him on a styled photo shoot, and his talent truly blew us away. Every detail—from the bouquet and boutonniere to the perfectly placed florals on the cake—was stunning and thoughtful. We loved using Something Borrowed Blooms for our wedding flowers. We used them for my bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, and extra flower bunches to decorate around our venue, and everything turned out beautifully. I even purchased my bridal bouquet so I could display it forever, and it still looks just as stunning. Everyone kept commenting on how realistic and well put together the flowers looked, even more so than some real flower arrangements we’ve seen. It was such a relief not to have to worry about keeping anything in water or paying the high price of fresh florals. The flowers arrived at our venue a few days early, and the return process afterward was incredibly easy. I would recommend Something Borrowed Blooms to any bride who wants a beautiful, stress-free floral option!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.8 (100 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Burlington, NC

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Working with Flower Moxie - Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers was a fantastic experience. Their communication style was encouraging, clear and direct, and consistently positive throughout the process. The quality of their work and value provided was exceptional - the flowers we received were absolutely gorgeous, and their helpful tutorials made it easy for us to prepare everything for the wedding. My daughter loved her beautiful wedding bouquet and the way all the centerpieces for the reception turned out. We did have a few minor glitches with the delivery, but Alexa was *so* responsive and helpful, providing tracking information and overnighting replacement flowers when the colors weren't what we expected. Her fast response time and practical support made the whole experience really positive. We're very grateful for the value and care we received from Flower Moxie!

I had a great experience with Poppy! I knew I didn’t want to spend a crazy amount of money on florals, but still wanted my wedding to look gorgeous – I am so lucky a friend told me about Poppy. I appreciated how transparent their pricing was, how communicative my floral consultant Sahra was throughout the whole planning process. The online platform was very intuitive and user friendly. The day-of team delivered and organized everything beautifully, and guests commented on how lovely the flowers turned out. I would recommend Poppy to anyone, but especially those who want to get gorgeous flowers for a very fair price.

I was so grateful to have found Jen while going through our flower-picking-process. We got a quote for real flowers to start and it was way out of our budget. When we started looking for 'fake' flowers, I knew I wanted them to look as real as possible. I must have looked at 10 different vendors across CT and MA, and as soon as I saw Wood & Word Blooms website I was sold! Her bouquets are one of a kind, each and every piece was perfect for our wedding. She was so supportive and helpful in the color picking process, I changed my mind a few times but she never batted an eye. She got us to the finish line and we couldn't be happier. If you're on the fence, just go with Jen!

Elizabeth and Cinda were an amazing team to work with! I was able to reach Elizabeth by email, set up in person meetings to talk about flowers and able to communicate with them directly on my wedding day. I chose the ‘Brunch & Blooms’ package, where a group of my favorite ladies came together I create my flowers. We were given step by step instructions on how to make the corsages, boutonnieres, bouquets and centerpieces. Before the big day, they go through all the flowers to ensure they look somewhat uniform and ready to be displayed. The memories I have from our Brunch & Blooms are some of my favorite from the wedding weekend! I also decided to donate my flowers to an assisted living home, where Elizabeth dropped the flowers off and sent pictures to me as well.

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. Protecting this wide world from the pestilence that is the zombie flower is no small feat, but I've learned to survive. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.

Harris & Co. Floral Bar
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
  • Starts at $2,000
  • Serves Burlington, NC

At Harris & Co. Floral Bar, we believe flowers should feel as meaningful as the moments they celebrate. Inspired by Southern hospitality, heirloom gardens, and thoughtful design, we create refined floral experiences that feel timeless rather than trendy. Every wedding is intentionally designed to reflect your story, with seasonal blooms, natural movement, and a calm, collaborative planning process from our first conversation to your wedding day. Whether you're planning an intimate celebration or a full wedding weekend, our goal is simple: create florals that feel unmistakably like your love story.

I was nervous to attend a Floral Bar Brunch only because I didn't know what to expect. A co-worker invited me and we went together. Any anxiety I had about this event quickly melted away as we arrived at the historic house. Brittany greeted us at the door. We chose a place to sit and grabbed our individual meals. The intimate space allowed us to move freely at a sold out event. The event started on time. Light music played as Brittany introduced herself and explained the events to follow. We were creating our own bouquets from fresh cut flowers she provides. We even received a vase and ribbon to decorate as well. Brittany offered us as much, or as little, help as we needed. We ended right on time and had the opportunity to chat with Brittany about her upcoming events and get to know her a little more. I'll definitely attend another!

Sparks & Sand
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
  • Starts at $1,500
  • Serves Burlington, NC

Hi guys! Mekai here, owner + founder of Sparks + Sand floral design. Originally from Palm Springs, California and now in Raleigh for a couple years, S+S has brought me the most incredible opportunities to share in the joy + wonder florals can bring to every person, every event, every meaningful moment. I am so darn thankful I get to connect with so many unique people with visions I cannot believe I get to bring to the table. Thank you for supporting me, + allowing me the space to be a part of your most special celebrations. I cannot wait to connect with you!

Mekai did the florals for my Feb 2023 wedding and I seriously cannot even begin to explain how amazing she was! Actually blew my expectations out of the water. When I saw what she had created the morning of our wedding she actually took my breath away. She took my vision I gave her and made something more beautiful than I ever could have imagined! I live in New York City and honestly, I was struggling for awhile to try to try to find a florist out of Palm Springs that just "gets it". Sometimes I find traditional florists to be a bit boring, stale, repetitive, or way over the top. The other florists out of palm springs felt a little too old school for me or were completely out of my budget. I really wanted something modern and artistic, yet playful, natural and fun. Mekai is a true artist! Not only is her work so beautiful, but she is also the sweetest person ever and a dream to work with! Super responsive and really takes the time to understand your vision. I know as a bride, it can feel a little risky to book a vendor with a smaller amount of reviews, but Mekai is so worth it! Mekai also has a lot lower minimums than a lot of other floral vendors in the area and is extremely affordable which I have never heard any of my friends who have gotten married say about their florals! Mekai's work is such a steal for the impact that she will make on your space and in all of your photos! Seriously run, don't walk, to book! I'm telling you, you will not regret it in the slightest.

Lollygag Floral is a boutique floral studio rooted in seasonality and intention. I design with in season blooms, and local whenever possible, creating arrangements that feel natural, artful, and deeply personal. I love working closely with each couple so the flowers feel like an extension of your story and your setting. Thoughtful, layered, a little wild, and always meaningful.

Breanna approaches florals with an intentionality that transcends decoration. She understands flowers as emotional architecture, as spiritual presence, as living art that shapes how we experience space and occasion. This reverence for the deeper work of florals sets her apart in a field too often reduced to aesthetics alone. Her expertise spans scales from intimate wellness workshops to hospitality installations to full-scale event production. She moves seamlessly between the personal and the professional, bringing the same thoughtful curation whether she's designing for a wedding or a luxury spa property. Breanna designed my wedding florals and exceeded what I'd imagined possible and delivered a beautiful, personal experience in floral sentiment. She listened to what the day needed to hold and created arrangements that honored both beauty and meaning. Flowers that felt like they belonged exactly where they were placed. Beyond weddings, I've collaborated with Breanna on hospitality projects and events that require someone who understands how florals function within larger experiences. She handles all floral design for my interior and spa development projects, and her work consistently elevates the spaces we create together. She thinks like a designer, creates like an artist, and executes like someone who's run enough events to know how theory meets reality..the hardest part! If you're looking for someone who brings both reverence and expertise to floral design, someone who can handle your most important personal moments and your most ambitious professional projects, I highly recommend Breanna and Lollygag Floral.
