Indigo West

I took up photography at the ripe age of 11 with a Polaroid I borrowed from an aunt. It quickly became my sketchbook as I worked to capture stills of the world and people around me. Those images have continued to pay emotional dividends throughout my life, helping me better understand what I have now come to see through a new scope. They are grounding, melancholic, funny and beautiful. Some of my most cherished possessions.

Awarded Best of Zola
“We enjoyed the overall experience with Indigo West from the start. He understood our preference for mostly candid photography and he did mostly that, leaving us plenty of time to mingle with guests. The photos he did direct we also loved it was nice he kept that quick, which made it very easy for us! Very happy with this vendor!”

I'm a California native with a wanderlusting soul. I grew up in the snowy mountains of Lake Tahoe and spent my teenage years in the rainforests of Costa Rica before returning to the West Coast of the United States to study the art of wedding photography and earn my BFA with Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California.

Awarded Best of Zola
“From start to finish, Grace was a calming, warm presence - the whole time we worked with her I felt like we were in excellent hands. She gently directed us without being "posed" or pushy. No notes. Like any engaged person, I felt some anxiety about photos since that's the thing that you get to actually "keep" after your big day. When I tell you, not only do we look like freaking movie stars in all Grace's photos, she PERFECTLY captured the EMOTION of the moment. If you didn't know better, you would think our wedding pictures were a People Magazine Exclusive or something. Just as valuable as the photos themselves was Grace's kind attitude and willingness to work with us on what we needed. It ended up raining on our courthouse day and she not only rolled with it, but got INCREDIBLE photos to boot! Long story short: HIRE GRACE!”

With over a decade of experience in the wedding industry, I believe your wedding day deserves to be remembered as more than a collection of moments — it should feel like a rich story, with visceral emotions coursing through each scene. “I had such an incredible experience working with Leslie! She is truly detail-oriented, remembering every single thing I mentioned and making sure my vision came to life. She’s so down-to-earth and made us feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. During our engagement shoot, she guided us effortlessly, showing us how to pose in a way that felt natural and comfortable. We're both not usually in front of the camera so I worried that it would be hard but with Leslie, we felt so confident, had an amazing time and the pictures she captured were absolutely stunning! Everything about working with her, from her easy-to-use portal to her beautifully designed website, was seamless. She is not only an amazing photographer but also such a kind and loving person. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer who truly cares about their clients. I feel so lucky to have found her!”

From the initial consultation to the final delivery (within 30 days of the date!) of the photos, every step of the process was handled smooth, organized and her creativity is amazing! On the day of the wedding, Alli went above and beyond to capture every special moment. She was well-prepared, but also incredibly personable, making everyone feel at ease in front of the camera. Her ability to blend into the background while still capturing candid, intimate moments was truly impressive. We love her style each and every photo. Sarah Vendramini Photography
Rating: 5.0 (16 reviews)

  • Serves Carpinteria, CA

A couple and their pets hiking in the woods...jumping in the waves at sunset...a bride dancing down the aisle...my goal is to document every scene of your story, so you can hold onto it forever. Whatever the occasion, whatever the venue, I strive to make the most out of life, capturing vibrant, authentic smiles, celebrating each moment, and spreading positive vibes. We only have one life to live...so let’s enjoy it! Though I specialize in couples photography, engagement sessions, and weddings in the Santa Barbara / Southern California area, I’m also available for maternity sessions and destination weddings.

Awarded Best of Zola
“I could truly write a novel about why Sarah was the most incredible photographer/human! First and foremost, her photos are absolutely stunning. There were certain types of photos I wanted to get and she took the effort to make sure we got each one of them. My now HUBBY and me are not the biggest fans of posed photos and she made us feel comfortable with them while also getting lots of candids. I very often have a derp face in photos, and on a day where I felt so much joy and was unaware of my face, she captured the moments in between where I wasn't full-on smiling, mouth open...all the things us ladies worry about :) She not only took beautiful photos, she was very organized and communicative leading up to the day (and even after, when she has so many other weddings on the horizon!), and then worked quickly to get the shots she needed so everyone could maximize their drinking/dancing time. When my wedding planner had to leave mid-day, she stepped in to help and was just a calming presence on a day that can be quite stressful leading up to the ceremony. It takes a special kind of human to not only deal with the pressure of photographing someone's wedding but balancing the different personalities and timelines was a whole other beast, and Sarah handled everything flawlessly. Lastly, we had a small wedding of about 70 people and each person was so very intentional, and it was very important to us that we worked with someone that felt like part of our crew, that could hang with us and have a good time. Sarah felt like (and is!) a friend and joined the party to capture some really beautiful moments with our friends and family. I was so happy when she jumped in and danced to Robyn with all of us :) The cliché is true that it's the best day of your life and that it passes by so quickly, and I'm just so glad that Sarah was there to capture all the fleeting moments and also the ones that we weren't around to witness. We could not recommend her more and would shout from the mountaintops how incredible she is!”

Welcome. Since 2011, Lerina has been photographing weddings of all shape and sizes. She has traveled throughout the country and abroad documenting love stories and the events that surround the most magical day in a couple's life. Today she calls both the desert and the coast home but feels comfortable anywhere a camera is slung around her neck, shooting on her medium of choice – film. Her work has been published and featured by Condé Nast Traveler, SELF Magazine, Green Wedding Shoes, Wedding Chicks, more.

“There aren't enough words to describe how amazing of a job Lerina did photographing our wedding in November 2022. Incredibly professional, talented, and diligent, Lerina perfectly captured our special day. She worked with us ahead of time to develop our shot list, but nothing felt forced or like we had to spend oodles of time away from our guests. Loved that the package we got also came with an engagement session. I will look back on these photos for the rest of my life with joy.”

“Leah helped make our wedding the best day of our life. From the beginning, Leah was easy to work with, she listened closely to what we envisioned for our wedding and was able to provide us with creative ideas when we needed some help or felt overwhelmed. Leah's photography skills were superb and she provided us with so many beautiful pictures of us, our friends, venues, and so much more. Her turnaround time on getting us the photos was so quick too! Not only did she provide great photos, but she assisted as our "day-of-coordinator." Leah eased our fears so many times leading up to the wedding, she was easy to get a hold of or would reach out to us to make sure our wedding was coming together, and helped us communicate with some our other vendors when we needed an extra hand. Leah was the MVP of our wedding! You NEED her to be your photographer and she is worth every penny to be your day-of-coordinator too. We will be using Leah again for family photos!”

Having been in the industry for well over a decade I have the experience and expertise to provide my clients with both the professionalism and personal detail in which I believe every client deserves.

Awarded Best of Zola
“We hired Brittany Taylor Photography months before our wedding and began the conversation with Brittany herself who was so kind and communicative from day 1. She heard out our vision, answered all of our questions, and made us feel so comfortable. From the start we knew she was not available for our wedding day but we had full confidence that whoever the photographer we got assigned with would be the perfect extension of Brittany. We were SO lucky to work with Claire who kicked us off with an amazing engagement shoot. She put in so much thought and effort into scouting a location and shooting with her felt like doing a fun art project with an old friend. We were so happy with our engagement photos, they turned out so beautifully and were delivered professionally and right on time. The week of our wedding there was a wildfire a few miles from the venue and it was somewhat touch and go. Brittany was hugely empathetic to our situation and was so kind during the stress of it all. Luckily the wedding went as planned. Claire did an amazing job of directing our crazy family, was efficient and captured all the group shots we wanted. She truly added so much value to our special day as a person and as a talented photographer. The photos turned out better than we could have ever imagined. Claire had a great eye for leveraging the scenery of our venue and finding the most magical shots. Major kudos to Claire and Brittany for making us feel beautiful and for capturing the essence of our day. Love how it's packaged nicely in an online gallery as well. THANK YOU X A MILLION!!!”

Your wedding deserves more than just photos—it deserves an experience. With over 15 countries captured, I create timeless, editorial, and emotionally rich images that transport you back to the moment. Every glance, every touch, every fleeting second—preserved with artistry and intention.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Working with Moments by Frank was such a great experience from start to finish. Frank is incredibly personable and made us feel like we were catching up with a friend rather than working with a vendor, which put us at ease on our wedding day. He and his team knew exactly how to direct us for poses and worked with impressive efficiency and creativity throughout the entire event. Our bridal party couldn't stop raving about how easy Frank and the team were to work with. Communication was solid, though fair warning that Frank stays busy so you may need to follow up occasionally, but his work ethic is clearly why he's in such high demand. Our sneak peaks are stunning, and we can't wait to see our full final gallery!”

“We had the absolute best experience with our wedding photographer! From the moment she and her second shooter Lauren arrived, they brought such warmth and ease to the day. My husband and I are both notoriously awkward in front of the camera, but they made us feel so comfortable and natural—it honestly felt like hanging out with friends. The preview photos we’ve received so far are absolutely stunning, and I couldn’t be happier with her work. I’m beyond excited to see the full gallery. What impressed me even more was how gracefully they adapted to the day’s hiccups. Despite less-than-ideal direction, they rolled with the punches and got creative, making sure to capture everything beautifully and meaningfully. I truly can’t recommend her enough—professional, talented, calm under pressure, and just an overall joy to work with. Book her. You won’t regret it!”

Hi There! I'm Katherine (or Kay!). I've loved weddings for as long as I could remember and I believe I have one of the best jobs in the whole world. I love being able to capture moments from one of the best days of a couples lives and I get to do it alongside my best friend, my Husband. You could call us nerds; we love Harry Potter, puzzles and video games. Our favorite vacation spot is definitely Las Vegas and we both love good Mexican food. We have two fur babies; Bella and Betsy and yes they are so spoiled. The Husband, Abraham (or Bram) is also an engineer when he's not capturing weddings and a Cal Poly alum.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Kay and Bram were an absolute joy to work with! It also helped they are total dog lovers like my husband and I, and captured the absolute best images of our boy, Maverick. I don’t think there was one moment where we were NOT smiling or laughing around these two, and it put my anxious mind completely at ease. They are affordable, hard-working, and completely matched our photography vision (lighter) for our most important day. I don’t think there are enough words to express my gratitude for the talent these two possess, but for now…thank you, Kay and Bram, for everything you have done for us. We truly adore you and are so lucky to have befriended you! - Chelsea, Neal, and Mav”

Studio Bibb

  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $2,000
  • Serves Carpinteria, CA

I’m a Santa Barbara–based photographer documenting weddings, elopements, and proposals along the coast and beyond. My approach is simple: capture the day as it actually felt. Clients often tell me how comfortable and at ease they felt being photographed, which allows moments to unfold naturally rather than feeling staged. My work leans true to color and natural in tone, with a focus on light, composition, and the in-between moments that often end up meaning the most.

“From our first conversation, Studio Bibb's team was easy to work with and got back to us quickly whenever we had questions. Olivia went above and beyond by meeting us at our venue the day before the wedding to map out the best spots and understand our vision. On the big day, she captured intimate moments between my husband and me, while her second shooter got stunning photos of our families coming together. The photos are absolutely breathtaking and worth every penny—we were blown away by the quality and attention to detail. Olivia's persistence in getting everything just right meant we have images we'll treasure forever. We'd recommend Studio Bibb to any couple looking for photographers who truly care about their story.”

Jenna even got me to do a boudoir shoot the night before the wedding, which I would NOT have done with anyone else. She makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera and the mood she evokes in her photos say more than words ever could. Jenna is one of the best people I know and having her by my side on the day of my wedding was paramount in calming my anxiety and making sure the day went smoothly. (i-love-film) I really do. There is something about the tactile quality, the vibrant color, the absence of color, the patience required, the craft. Something about how it pauses each moment for just one more second in the best way possible. It’s why I let film influence the way I shoot, how I approach each wedding day, and capture each moment despite how much easier it would be to only shoot digital. My hope is that all this effort and care and passion and sentimental value translates into something so much more than a photo on a screen. That you remember the way you felt, the laughs, the tears, and all the in-between moments.

“Jack was so nice to work with! He was super friendly and gave really helpful directions. The photos turned out great and I especially loved the film photos he took. I would definitely book a shoot with him again for something.”

My passion for photography was built on nostalgia. From a young age, I loved opening of the old holiday popcorn tins full of generations of family photos that my mom kept in the hallway closet. It felt magical to pull out old memories and hear my mom recall the story behind a photo. Now, I love to capture these special memories for my clients to pass down to the next generation. My job is to encourage and direct you so you feel comfortable and confident while taking photos, capturing each unique story in a creative and authentic way. I do this by creating a space for us to truly get to know each other and be ourselves.

“If you are reading this review in search of a wedding photographer, you can stop the search now, because Augusta is who you want! Augusta is so talented, so easy to connect with, and takes the time to truly understand what you and your partner are hoping to capture. On our actual wedding day, there were many times we were running behind schedule, and Augusta quickly adapted and still managed to capture more than we ever hoped for, or expected. More than that, I'm not sure how many weddings Augusta has worked, but she makes you feel like the most important and special person, is so attentive, has such a calming yet commanding presence (exactly what you need, but didn't know you needed until the day is actually unfolding), and makes you feel like you've been lifelong friends. She's extremely professional, great with communication, and if I had 15 weddings, I'd want her for all 15 of them.”
