Think Secret Garden meets Italian Villa! We also loved the intimate feel of the banquet hall, which was the perfect fit for our wedding size. Our guests loved the food and service. Even though we planned our wedding remotely, working with Monica and Stephanie was incredibly easy, as they were very responsive to both email and phone calls. “We absolutely loved everything about our experience at Skyview. From the moment we toured the venue, our breath was taken away with the majestic scenic views of the Appalachia. Our decision was further cemented when we learned everything that was included in their wedding package, an incredible value that beat all of the other venues we visited by a significant margin. We don't want to ruin it for anyone, but honestly they could double their rates and it'd still be worth it. The support from the staff at Skyview (specifically Jenn, Hildegaard, and Ivan) both during the planning process and on the day of our wedding was prompt, thoughtful, and comprehensive. We have never gotten married before but we can't imagine working with a more professional staff that made our planning unbelievably seamless and stress-free. Our guests echoed our sentiment with rave feedback about the picturesque scenery, the epic food, the beautiful cocktail hour space, and the stunning and classy reception room. “We got married at Mountainville Manor yesterday and it couldn’t have gone better. Lauren and James flawlessly executed our many many requests, accommodated our food allergies, and made sure that everything ran smoothly so that I, the bride, could (finally) relax. We used two of their recommended vendors: Gillian the florist and Matthew Lask the DJ and they were both fantastic. If you get married here, my one piece of advice is to listen to Mary when she reminds you to eat, otherwise you will miss the delicious food! We couldn’t be happier with our experience.”

“Don’t overlook the Short Hills Hilton for your wedding! It was the perfect location for our big day, offering a central gathering spot where our guests didn’t have to worry about traveling throughout the day. We explored several traditional venues, but none felt as right as this one. We had a November wedding and didn’t expect to have an outdoor ceremony, but the hotel’s lovely patio space was a wonderful option, and surprisingly, the noise from the JFK Parkway wasn’t an issue. For our indoor ceremony, the venue features a permanent enclosed tent structure. At first glance, it didn’t seem like much, but with the help of the event coordinator Vivian Cohen’s help and coordination with our florist, the space was transformed into something breathtaking. The reception space was spacious and perfect for our 170 guests—large enough for everyone to feel comfortable but not so big that it felt empty. Guests still rave about the food and service! The chef and maître d' truly deserve all the praise. The hors d’oeuvres were diverse and delicious, from sliders to a pasta bar to sushi. We chose the salmon and short ribs for dinner, which we selected during a private tasting session. The hotel grounds, filled with foliage, were perfect for photos, especially as we were lucky to have beautiful fall colors for our shoot. Victoria at the Hilton was incredibly helpful with coordinating room blocks, hotel room gift bags, and storage. Vivian was a dream to work with—she was welcoming, communicative, and made everything run smoothly. Her checklist was a lifesaver for keeping track of details, and she was hands-on with day-of coordination, ensuring everyone knew where they needed to be and helping with the little touches that made everything perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to help make our wedding day unforgettable!”

The Albion Summit

“I genuinely don’t know where to begin when it comes to Jennifer Batinjane and the entire team at The Albion. They exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding, and I can confidently say my expectations were HIGH . I had such a specific vision for our wedding and cared about every little detail, especially how I wanted our guests to feel throughout the weekend. From the beginning, Jennifer completely understood that. Not once did she make me feel like an idea was too much, a request was too specific, or something couldn’t be done. I would come to her with one of my “okay, this might sound crazy, but…” ideas, and somehow her response was always, “Yes, let's do it”. And she always did. Jennifer was our Memory Maker/Event Stylist, but that title doesn’t begin to cover what she became to us. She remembered the tiniest details, anticipated things before I thought to ask, and genuinely cared about our wedding as if it were her own. By the time our wedding day arrived, I trusted her completely - which, as someone who is VERY Type A, detail-oriented and has a hard time giving up control, says everything. The Albion took care of our entire wedding weekend. Our room block continued to grow, we had family and friends coming and going, and I had individually personalized welcome boxes that needed to make it to the correct guests. Nothing was ever treated like an inconvenience. The front desk and hotel staff handled everything with so much care that I never had to worry. Our ceremony was at the Cathedral Basilica in Newark, so I always wondered how we could possibly follow something so grand and breathtaking. But walking into The Albion afterward and seeing our reception come to life was a moment I’ll never forget. Every detail had been thought about. Nothing was overlooked. It felt like the wedding I had pictured in my head for so long - but somehow, even better. But as beautiful as everything was, what stands out most is how the entire Albion team made us and our guests FEEL. Every employee made us feel like our wedding was the most important event they had ever hosted. Our families were taken care of, our guests were taken care of, and Robert and I were taken care of from beginning to end. Everyone was warm, attentive, gracious and genuinely excited for us. And our guests noticed. We heard over and over afterward not only how beautiful the wedding was, but how incredible the staff was and how seamless and special the entire experience felt. As a bride, there is truly no better compliment. I went into wedding planning with some wild ideas and probably a few expectations that could be considered unrealistic. Somehow, Jennifer and The Albion didn’t just meet them - they exceeded them. Jennifer, thank you for listening to every idea, entertaining every crazy request, caring about every tiny detail, and making Robert and me, our families, and our guests feel so special. I know there were probably a hundred things you handled behind the scenes that we never even knew about. There are plenty of beautiful wedding venues, but you cannot manufacture the way people make you feel. That is what makes The Albion so special. They didn’t just give us a beautiful wedding. They gave us an experience we and our guests will never forget. I would choose The Albion and Jennifer a thousand times over. They will forever hold such a special place in our hearts, and “thank you” will never feel like enough.”

The building itself is so naturally beautiful and has so much charm and character. I kept my own decor minimal because the building itself is just so beautiful. The whole staff was so helpful and organized during the planning process. They helped put all my anxieties at ease and allo They truly blew all of my expectations out of the water! Jess was my maitre d and she truly was my lifeline and was just absolutely amazing! Jess made sure everything I wanted to do was done and would tell us when certain events would take place or give us timing updates etc. I literally didn’t have to worry about one thing. I had the best bridal attendants. They had earpieces and were constantly communicating which helped everything run smoothly. I did not worry about one little detail, they got everything correct and helped bring my vision to life! I was so well taken care of, I never pushed in my own chair and the bridal attendants even made sure I was taken care of if I had to go to the bathroom. They took such good care of my parents and husband as well. We all felt like we were the only wedding they ever had and they had one earlier in the day and you would’ve never known! All of my guests have said over and over again how they have NEVER been to a wedding at a place like that. They were blown away by the amount of food at the cocktail hour not to mention how the food was displayed! Several of my friends and family who have attended many weddings and even had weddings themselves, said that Park Savoy was like nothing they had ever seen. One of my bridesmaids said it felt like a movie. Every table had its own waiter and every guest was taken care of with such great service. The whole night ran without any issues and Jess made sure everything was taken care of. The level of service and attention to detail that the whole staff has is honestly so refreshing and I truly felt like I was a celebrity! They know what they are doing and they are truly worth every penny! There is not one thing I would go back and change. I would just love to relive the day over again because it truly goes by so fast! I HIGHLY recommend this venue and would be happy to speak with anyone who is considering as these candid reviews helped me soo much in my booking and planning process. I will say- DO NOT HESITATE!!”

The conservatory is absolutely stunning - it provided the outdoor feel we were originally looking for, like a garden, but with the security of a roof in case of weather mishaps which was definitely on our radar since it was a September wedding. Food was great, and there’s plenty of it! Our guests were blown away by the food and the beautiful, unique space, and the quality of service was top-notch. “From the very first tour at American Beauty Events/Embassy Suites in Berkeley Heights, we already knew this place was special. Walking into the stunning glass house absolutely wowed us and instantly made us feel like our wedding vision could truly come to life there. What made the experience even more unforgettable was the incredible team behind it all. Lynda, the director, was an absolute blessing throughout the entire planning process. Her communication, coordination, warmth, and genuine care made us feel supported every step of the way. She truly held our hands through it all and made what could have been stressful feel seamless and exciting. The chefs went above and beyond to create an amazing menu while also thoughtfully incorporating and tweaking dishes to honor our culture. Every bite was incredible, and our guests are still talking about the food! The add-ons, especially the lechon and hors d’oeuvres, were phenomenal and such a huge hit during the celebration. Christina was also wonderful in helping coordinate everything on the day of the wedding, making sure things flowed beautifully. The rooms for us and our guests were beautiful, comfortable, and made the entire weekend feel even more special and relaxing. And an extra special shoutout to Patty and Sonia — words truly cannot express our gratitude for these two amazing women. They did so much more than catering or event service. “Liberty Hall Museum helped to make my Mid-September wedding an absolute dream. We had our ceremony in front of the lush apple orchard, our cocktail hour around the rose garden that was still blooming and our reception under the tent. We utilized the Carriage House during cocktail hour and for dessert. Liberty Hall staff, as always, was warm, helpful, accommodating and so, so patient. There was never an issue and they were quick to fix anything before it was noticed. Our photographer was so excited about all the different opportunities for unique and beautiful photos throughout the grounds, over the course of the evening. I have a hard time finding the words that truly express what an amazing location Liberty Hall is. Almost 5 years later my husband and I are still receiving compliments about our wedding day.”

Our historic house was built and finished in 1774 and was the home of New Jersey's first elected Governor William Livingston. The Coriell Mansion

“We stayed here with our bridal party and friends coming in from overseas for the weekend of our wedding. Immediately, everyone was raving about the space and how gorgeous and huge it was. On the night before the wedding, we used it as the rehearsal dinner space, bringing in pans of catering but heating, serving, and using dishware all on site. We were so pleased with how well stocked the kitchen was. We spent so much time on the porch, playing pool, and taking pictures on the staircase. On the morning of the wedding, we had hair, makeup, videography, and photography come to us at the house. It was a great space that kept us from feeling like we were tripping over each other. I’m so excited to see the photos and videos because I know the setting was perfect. Even before we arrived, Steve was so helpful and flexible in our booking process. I could not recommend this space more highly!”

“I don't even know where to begin — our June 13th, 2025 wedding at the Olde Mill Inn was truly everything we dreamed of and more. From the moment we arrived to the final sendoff, it felt like we had stepped straight into a Hallmark movie. The Setting We used both the Grain House and the Grand Ballroom, and each space had its own charm. Our ceremony took place in the courtyard, and it was absolutely magical — the gardens, the stone walls, the romantic ambiance... it all felt timeless and intimate. We had about 100 guests, and everyone kept commenting on how beautiful and well-thought-out everything was. The Team Lea and John were nothing short of amazing. Lea was with us every step of the way through the planning process, answering all our questions (and calming my nerves more than once). John, our maître d’, was a dream on the day of — he made sure we were always taken care of, that everything ran smoothly, and that we actually got to eat during cocktail hour and dinner (which so many brides don’t!). The Experience It’s honestly hard to pick one thing I loved most because everything — the service, the food, the atmosphere, the convenience of having our guests stay on-site — was perfect. The staff made us feel like royalty, but also like family. Every detail felt intentional and personalized. It wasn’t just a wedding; it was an experience. A Moment I’ll Never Forget There was a quiet moment after the ceremony, before heading to cocktail hour, when John pulled us aside, gave us a glass of champagne, and let us soak it all in — just the two of us.
