“We could not write enough amazing things regarding our experience with Baltimore Sound Entertainment. We booked a DJ (Jeff) and a glam photo booth with them and both services were outstanding. My husband and I love house music, and it was so important that the music played at our wedding was authentically us. Jeff absolutely nailed it and our guests had a blast, calling it their first "rave wedding"! In addition, the Photo Booth turned out to be exactly what I had in mind. The "glam" filter made everyone look flawless and the attendant was kind and helpful. Guests could print as many copies as they wanted. We received the digital files two days after our wedding and now get to cherish these fun images forever. Look no further for your sound and entertainment needs!”

After contacting numerous DJs, we found that many were slow to respond, lacked transparent pricing, or spent more time trying to upsell us on extras we didn't want than learning about our vision. “We had an amazing experience with DJ Brian for our wedding! He was fantastic both as our DJ and MC and we felt like everything was handled so seamlessly throughout the day. For our ceremony, he coordinated directly with our coordinator to make sure the processional and ceremony timing went smoothly. We also had specific songs we wanted played at specific moments throughout the wedding and he nailed all of those cues. One of the highlights was our Battle of the Brothers game during the reception. We had a specific idea for how we wanted the game to work, but we didn't even have to walk him through how to engage the crowd — he immediately knew how to host it and keep everyone involved. Our guests were incredibly engaged and it ended up being one of the most fun moments of the reception. For the dancing, while he didn't end up playing every song we had specifically requested, there was someone on the dance floor pretty much the entire night, which says a lot about how well he read the room! He was professional, easy to work with, and did a great job keeping the energy going while also making sure the important moments of the evening happened smoothly. We’re so glad we chose him for our wedding and would definitely recommend him!”

“I would give Dj Maskell a BILLION stars if I could! Not only was he the best wedding dj ever, he always played the biggest part in our wedding planning process. My husband and I are very adhd and we were dragging our feet to get all the little details figured out. Mark helped us get organized and even provided us with a super detailed spreadsheet with EVERYTHING involving our wedding to make sure nothing was missed. We booked him over 2 years before our wedding and every single time we reached out with questions, he responded immediately with answers. Anytime we needed to talk to him, he was able to schedule meetings with us right away. He met with us WEEKLY the month of our wedding to ensure everything was going exactly as planned and because of all of those things, we tell everyone Dj Maskell is the reason we were able to pull off our dream wedding. He was our “Master of Ceremonies” as well so he made sure everything went smoothly and everything stayed on schedule during our ceremony! Our ceremony was on the beach so we were worried our guests wouldn’t be able to hear us because of the wind, waves, etc. But Mark had discrete mics set up for us so everyone could hear us perfectly. He was able to use all the songs we wanted, even though some of them were only available on YouTube and SoundCloud. As for music, he absolutely KILLED IT! We are big into EDM, primarily dubstep, and he curated the perfect amount of our fave music, with music for the normies as well. My guests were hyping him up all weekend and even STILL text me saying how much they love him lol. I don’t write reviews often, but I wish I could shout from the rooftops how wonderful Mark is to work with, and how kind and helpful he really is. He not only played our wedding, but also our Welcome Party the night before AND Wedding After Party. He has the best energy and is HILARIOUS. He really brought all the vibes to make our wedding weekend absolutely perfect. PS: HIS LIGHT SHOW IS AMAZING!!! He has the coolest most discrete lights (you may be able to see in some of the pics I posted) and they are super slim and don’t get in the way. He let me control the lights at our after party lol!”

“I first encountered 24k at a wedding that I attended in 2022. When it came time for my wedding, I remembered how they were so lively and energetic, and I inquired if they could come out a little further, even though my (June 2026) wedding was in West Virginia. The band was both flexible and easy-going about that and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT on the dance floor! Jill was the main point of contact and she asked all the right questions, including very kindly making doubly sure that everyone’s names were pronounced correctly during reception introductions (there were Chinese, European, and African names in the mix!). We made specific requests for the Bridal Party intro and First Dance songs that the band agreeably accommodated. For example, I entered into the reception with the Wyclef Jean song “911” and the band DJ’ed the song at the right parts so that my friend and vocalist could sing it live as my husband I entered the reception area (I’m 5’1” and the song references an “assailant” who is 5’1”, so it was important to get the timing right for comedic effect!) They were open to that collaboration that made the event more fun. We also asked that the lyrics of the Avett Brothers song “January Wedding” be changed to “June Wedding” when the band performed the First Dance. In terms of their actual performance, 24k BROUGHT IT (!!!). Besides sounding fantastic, the band members have great chemistry with each other and appear to actually just enjoy the music themselves. We had a diverse guest list (188 guests), and family members old and very young, co-workers, church and other friends, and friends from our martial arts dojo community, were all on the dance floor. Folks were having a GREAT time. The band maintained energy on the floor until the very end. Even the venue staff at our open bar were dancing along all night; and our wedding coordinator staff shared with me how “amazing” they thought 24K was when I walked past them! I should also mention that the individual band members I interacted with during the night were very kind and engaging. One mentioned to me that he had read the answers to our couple Bingo Trivia game that was posted and that he felt like he knew us already from reading it! You could see this open spirit in the performance of the band. After our Grand Exit, my husband and I walked about a 100 yards to our lodgings on the venue site (The Bavarian Inn); however, we stopped on our balcony to hear the band lead the guests in singing the song “Country Roads” to close out the night. We watched the twinkly lights sparkling in the distance as we heard the joy of both the band and the guests. It was truly remarkable! After the wedding, MANY guests commented on how much they enjoyed 24k’s live performance. There is a world of difference between a DJ and a quality live band, and having 24k –a *very high* quality band – made our wedding celebration so much more special, joyous, and FUN!”

You know him as DJ Casanova, but around the office, we just call him Jamie. Back in the day, he was just a child of immigrants recording his favorite songs over his parent’s cassette tapes (sorry Mom and Dad) so he could listen to them on his prized Walkman. Jamie entered the DJ field in 2009, and before long he was spinning something at a different party every week. Pretty soon he realized that sharing his love of music with like-minded folks was more than just a hobby, it was a gift.

We were a little nervous about blending my vibrant Nigerian culture with Ben's family's background for a truly unified party. We needed a DJ who could be a cultural translator, a party starter, and a vibe curator. DJ Don X exceeded every expectation. From our initial consultation, he was invested. He asked thoughtful questions about specific Highlife, Afrobeats, and Afro-pop songs that were important to my family, and he was equally enthusiastic about incorporating classic rock and indie hits that spoke to Ben's side. He crafted a timeline that honored traditions like the money spray (which he announced perfectly to ensure all guests understood the joyful significance) while keeping the energy electric and inclusive. The reception was pure magic. He seamlessly mixed Wizkid with The Killers, and Tems with Bruce Springsteen. A pivotal moment was our cultural presentation. He handled the switching between traditional Nigerian music and our entrance song with precision. The sound was impeccable, and his announcements were clear, respectful, and full of energy. The highest compliment came from our wedding planner, who has been in the industry for 15 years. She pulled us aside and said, "I work over 30 weddings a year. Chelle, the violinist, was so warm and kind in our interactions leading up to the day, and assured us during the prep that she was a prompt person and that she'd arrive quite early to the venue before our event - sounds like a small thing, but her integrity and commitment really gave us such peace of mind when we were focusing on all the other details of our wedding day. Chelle's beautiful violin playing was perfect as a solo performer, and her services were very reasonably priced. Getting to pick her setlist was amazing, and she happily learned several songs she didn't know, including the one we walked down the aisle to. “Jason was great throughout the whole process! He was great at communicating and making sure he had all of the songs that we wanted (and didn’t) throughout the night. He also did a great job at adjusting the songs played based off of what our guests responded well to so people were on the dance floor all the time which I loved!! He collected a bunch of photos from us and displayed them on a screen that’s built into his DJ booth (I don’t know what it’s called) and many guests came up to us to specifically tell us that they loved seeing our pictures of us and our relationship as well as pics of us growing up. It’s something I don’t even think of doing, but Jason offered and I’m so glad he did! He also set up a photo booth that was very popular. He was great at making sure that things that I needed were just taken care of and went out of his way to coordinate with my wedding planner and kept me in the loop which I appreciated. We had a ton of kids at our wedding and he did a great job at playing clean (and popular) music that wasn’t raunchy. If I have any other events I’ll be sure to book Jason and I’d highly recommend him to any of my friends and family!”
