“We cannot express enough gratitude to The Faded Poppy for the breathtaking floral arrangements they created for our wedding bouquets! From our very first consultation, The Faded Poppy was an absolute pleasure to work with. They listened intently to our vision, adjusted as we worked through the vision, offered excellent suggestions, and truly understood the aesthetic we were hoping to achieve. They even kindly helped us work through last minute freak outs, haha. The communication throughout the entire process was professional and reassuring. On the wedding day, when the bouquets arrived and filled the space, they were stunning and added that pop of color we were looking for. They were even more breathtaking than we could have imagined - fresh, vibrant, and perfectly arranged, capturing the essence of our day with such elegance. Every detail was meticulously handled, and the quality of the flowers was exceptional. The Faded Poppy played such a significant role in making our wedding day feel magical and beautiful. We received countless compliments on the flowers, and they looked absolutely incredible in al our photos. We wholeheartedly recommend The Faded Poppy to any couple looking for a truly talented and professional florist who will bring their floral dreams to life for the big day! “Overall I was very happy with the flowers and how easy it was to order them and return them. We had A destination wedding in June in Florida so real flowers would have just wilted so these were a perfect choice. My only critic is that the corsage and boutonnières were pretty used. They weren’t the prettiest but the 2 bouquets I ordered looked pretty good. I do recommend them especially for a destination wedding and low cost.”

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (110 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Churchville, VA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Flower Moxie exceeded my expectations! We did a custom design and Cristen really captured what I wanted for our wedding day. The ordering process was so easy thanks to Cristen and I went further and did the modules to prep for getting them. As we got closer Alexa was so quick and helpful when I was panic asking a million questions. We had some delays and were getting close to my wedding day with little time to get the flowers done. Alexa jumped into action and was amazing in finding a wholesaler near me that had the flowers we wanted picked and ready for me to get in less than 3 hours. That made such a huge difference as I was able to have my helpers and get everything done before the day of my rehearsal dinner. On top of all of this I now am so proud to say I did all the florals for my wedding and they were everything I wanted! If you’re a fellow budget bride with a vision flower moxie is for you!”

Woodland Floral Design Co.
Rating: 5.0 (78 reviews)
  • Serves Churchville, VA

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

Awarded Best of Zola
“We are beyond grateful for the exquisite floral arrangements by Misha (Woodland Florals) for our wedding day. Every detail, from the bouquets to the centerpieces, was meticulously crafted and stunningly beautiful. Misha perfectly captured our vision and style, incorporating our chosen colors and flowers flawlessly. Guests were in awe of the floral decor, and it truly elevated the ambiance of our venue and vision. Working with Misha was a pleasure; she was professional, attentive, and responsive throughout the entire process. When I described wanting something different, bold, and undeniably pretty for our bridesmaid bouquets, she took our vision and wove it into a masterpiece. She has this incredible knack for listening not just to what you say, but to what you want deep down. Her creations are not just flowers; they're a reflection of her artistry and her ability to capture the essence of your dreams. Her and her team’s expertise and creativity shone through, ensuring that our wedding day was adorned with floral arrangements that exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Misha, for contributing to our unforgettable day with your exceptional talent and dedication to perfection!”

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

“We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our florist, Jessica Samsing of Fleurish and Bloom. From the very beginning, we loved that we were able to meet her and really get to know her before booking. It never felt like a transaction for a service, and more like collaborating with a friend to bring a dream vision to life. I can be pretty particular when it comes to details, so finding someone we trusted completely to execute our vision was really important to us. She absolutely nailed it. She listened carefully, offered thoughtful guidance, and ultimately brought our dream to life in the most beautiful way. Not only was everything stunning, but she and her team were also incredibly respectful of our budget, which we appreciated so much. Throughout the process she was approachable, kind, and genuinely invested in making our wedding day special. You can truly feel how much she cares about her couples. Blossoms and Buds
Rating: 5.0 (7 reviews)
  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Churchville, VA

Katie's love for flowers blossomed in Canvas, West Virginia, Inspired by her family's heritage of foraging in the rich woodlands of Appalachia. Katie has cultivated her passion into a thriving flower farm business. Drawing from her grandmother's artistic spirit, Katie infuses her arrangements with seasonal colors and varieties that she grow using sustainable practices. At Blossoms and Buds, each bouquet tells a story of heritage, sustainability, and the beauty of Appalachia. By supporting local businesses and sharing her love for flowers with her community, Katie hopes to pass on something meaningful to future generations.

“I used Blossoms and Buds for my wedding at the new river gorge. The flowers were so beautiful and I loved knowing I was supporting a local farm! Since Katie grows everything herself she was able to give us a fantastic price. Katie was easy to communicate with and was on time. My only critique is that I wish Katie would have given me a few options to react to after seeing my inspiration, but I guess I could have asked for that. Overall, I was really happy with Blossoms and Buds and would recommend!”

Honeysuckle Farm is a small flower farm and design studio located in Madison County, VA. We provide arrangements for weddings, events, and special occasions. Our arrangements feature locally and American grown blooms and we practice a sustainable, foam-free approach to floral design.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Many amazing qualities - from the sustainable use of in-season plants, aromatic plants, and willingness to help transform bridesmaids bouquets to center-pieces post ceremony, I couldn't recommend Honeysuckle Farm enough. What I appreciated even more was her flexibility in working with my budget - while several florists in the area turned me down when I wasn't able to meet larger minimums, Honeysuckle Farms listened to my priorities list and crafted an offer tailored to what I most wanted. Totally transparent pricing and high-quality work. Florals were not my priority, so we didn't communicate too frequently. When we did speak Honeysuckle was kind, considerate, and showed she was thoughtful and deliberate in questions/responses. I think the communication quantity would have changed if I had more specific requests or a larger purchase. My jaw DROPPED when I saw the wedding arch she made for me. This was far beyond my wildest dreams and (I felt) a REALLY good price. Would recommend Honeysuckle to anyone, but particularly for folks who aren't looking to spend 5k for bouquets and basics***(obviously pricing is based on market and seasonality).”

Barnswallow Blooms
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)

I have a love for all things wild and natural, scented blossoms, mossy twigs, and starry nights. Flowers simply make my heart sing. I believe the magic of growing and gathering was planted in me years ago as a young girl, working alongside my mother picking wildflowers and lily of the valley. How I create is deeply rooted in who I am; a floral designer, grower, and potter. I feel my art background has been a really strong foundation for floral design as textures, color, and design are all intertwined with both arts.

“From start to finish, I never had a doubt that Mary Ann and Barnswallow Blooms would make my wedding perfect. “I Do!” Floral & Wood Designs is a small wedding service business out of the Orange, Virginia area and run by husband, wife, and three amazing little girls. We started out as a different business with a completely different name in 2016. From there, we revamped the entire business into the one of a kind business you see growing now. We went from wood decor and furniture for the home to wood decor, wood flower arrangements, wood flower decor, and more for the home.

“I had the pleasure of getting my flowers with Rebecca. They do amazing work, I couldn’t have been happier with my flowers. And the fact that they last forever makes it that much better.”
