SK Photography
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Cornelius, OR
  • Photographer
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000

As a photographer, my ultimate goal is to create images that have that same “time machine” effect. I aim to capture moments that can be relived through a single photograph: the smell of your newborn's hair, the softness of their ears, or the pounding of your heart on your wedding day. I want my work to serve you for a lifetime, in ways you might not expect. It's an honor to be part of your story, and I hope my work will touch your family’s lives for generations.

SK Photography was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! From the very first interaction, her bubbly and easy-going communication style put us at ease and made the entire process feel effortless. The quality of their work was truly magical - the photos they captured were euphoric and top-notch, as if they had three people working simultaneously to document every moment. They adapted seamlessly with us as needed, making us feel like we were the only ones that mattered in that special moment. Once you hire SK Photography, you'll never want to use anyone else for your photography needs. We couldn't recommend them more highly!

I worked with Hannah as a Photographer on a recent wedding, and I was beyond impressed with her professionalism and communication. Prior to the wedding she reached out for timeline input and feedback, and communicated the couples' planned events and day with such care and detail. Not only is she super communicative, but she's also incredibly respectful and considerate of her fellow vendors. I was floored and so appreciative when I saw Hannah had designated a vendor table for dinner, even including us on the seating chart! That level of thoughtfulness is honestly not common in this industry. I've had a range of experiences (good and bad...) with coordinators, and I can attest that Hannah by far is the BEST that I have worked with. If Hannah is the coordinator for every wedding I work from here on out, I would seriously cry tears of joy.

From our first conversation with the Abernethy Center, we knew we'd found our venue. The Karissa communicated with us every step of the way and always took time to explain details in a straightforward manner. Jenny, our day of coordinator went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day felt special—Jenny personally orchestrated our walk down the aisle, timing everything perfectly so I arrived at the altar right as my song ended, which created such a dramatic and timeless moment. The venue itself is gorgeous and truly one-of-a-kind, with an elegant, executive feel that made our celebration feel refined. The only hiccup we experienced was the credit card processing fee, which felt steep and honestly should have been built into their quoted price from the start. Despite that, it was absolutely worth it, and we'd book the Abernethy Center again in a heartbeat.

StoryBooth Experience
Rating: 5.0 (53 reviews)
·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
  • Event extras
  • Guest book alternatives
  • Starts at $3,499
  • Serves Cornelius, OR

We’re a premium storytelling studio that brings a pop-up podcast booth to the heart of your wedding day. Think more Soho House than sound booth—elegant, intimate, and beautifully styled. Guests step inside and respond to meaningful, pre-recorded prompts in your voice, sharing love, laughter, and memories. After the wedding, we produce a polished podcast series—complete with music, editing, and heart. It’s the voices of your people, captured forever. More than a guestbook—it’s your story, as an audio heirloom told by the ones who lived it with you.

We were so excited to have found Adam and StoryBooth before our wedding. We weren’t very excited about a videographer but have always loved listening to podcasts together on roadtrips and thought a podcast would be a fun way to remember the day. Enter Adam and his creative solution. He is so easy to work with, and FUN! From the first conversations with him to recording our prompt questions, everything with fun and exciting and comfortable. Our guests also LOVED it. It was something they’d never done, or heard about. They loved hearing their voices in the boom mics. And to be able to have the gift of weekly episodes come out after the wedding-it has helped ease the emotional come down after the wedding. We’re both so glad we found StoryBooth and glad it was available for our day. UPDATE: We are now a few months out from our wedding, and have been listening to episodes on our longer drives. I am rationing them though: only one episode per road trip! I don't want them to end. The final product is so lovely. A personalized podcast episode with a creative summary write up and great audio. It has been the most special way to connect with our guests in a different way. And leaves us with a really amazing memory that we can revisit anytime we are needing to pull at our heart strings! Let those tears of joy flow!

I truly get teary-eyed thinking about the beautiful flowers that Alana designed for my wedding. As a native-Oregonian who moved away 6 years ago, having locally grown flowers from the soil of my old stomping grounds was so important to me, and Alana went above and beyond to make this happen. She captured the rustic, yet elegant wildflower aesthetic that I was aiming for, incorporating pops of color and greenery that took my breath away. I loved my bouquet reveal too--she stuck around to physically hand me my bouquet and explain the best way to hold it to display the flowers appropriately, and I just love that I have these photos capturing that special moment I got to have with her on my wedding day. She truly is one-of-a-kind, and if you book her, she will take your vision and make it happen. I love you so much Alana! Thank you for being such an amazing part of our special day.

Hi friend!! I'm Karmen. I believe love deserves to be documented with intention, honesty, and care. The kind that feels cinematic but real. Elevated but effortless. I believe your wedding day should feel like you, not a production performed for the camera. The most meaningful images live in the in between. Quiet nerves before the ceremony, hands finding each other without thinking, laughter that spills out when the timeline pauses. Your photos are never about perfection. They are about presence. Thoughtfully guided when needed, and quietly observed when the moment belongs to you.

From our first interaction, Karmen's communication was fast, clear, and friendly. Her work is truly unique, high-quality, and Pinterest-worthy. Karmen went above and beyond for us, even creating a special Pinterest board to ensure we were on the same page about our vision. She made sure she had all the right equipment to capture our perfect day. Karmen's beautiful vision, professionalism, and personalized approach made her the best choice for our wedding photographer in Portland, Oregon. I wouldn't want anyone else to document our special day.

The team at Ironlight have created something so special. People choose to get married in the PNW because of the unparalleled beauty. And that, Ironlight has in spades. Their indoor space is elegant with incredible natural light. It is truly a space every couple can customize and make their own. Their outdoor patios allow couple and guests alike to enjoy our beautiful days and nights, with one deck showing off a view of Mt. Hood, and the other highlighting our amazing PNW sunsets. While the space is beautiful and so thoughtfully designed, I also appreciate the other amenities like a dedicated parking lot and garage, easy loading dock for vendors, fully private restrooms, and complete handicap accessibility. And while the venue speaks for itself, I also want to highlight the customer service this venue offers. Their team is made up of brilliant, service oriented women and everything from the ease of tours, to internal processes to client communication is done with care and thoughtfulness. Definitely schedule time to reach out to Ironlight. It truly is a gem! Kim

My name is Nadia. I specialize in elopements + adventure weddings in the Pacific Northwest. I help people have the wedding of their dreams in magical outdoor spaces. When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to get married free of society’s wedding day expectations. So go wild! Spend the entire day in your favorite place, with your favorite person. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar. In the great outdoors, you write the wedding rules. And I’m here to help make it an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
When we began looking for a photographer for our micro-wedding, we gravitated towards Nadia’s images over and over again. Not only did they capture raw, intimate moments between couples and families, but they elevated those moments in elegant and natural landscapes of the PNW; everything we wanted. We reached out and set up a consultation call immediately. We were initially nervous and felt very unprepared to speak with photographers because we had zero ideas for what our special day would look like, but after our call with Nadia we were confident that Venture Ever After was the right choice for us. She was so knowledgeable and did a TON of legwork planning our timeline to best capture the moments we wanted in the lighting we needed, recommending a variety of locations for some private moments as a couple and group activities with our family, and keeping us grounded and calm throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, Nadia took the reigns and gently guided us through the day with compassion and grace. She constantly reminded us that each moment was for us and encouraged us to revel in all of the details. She even conquered some pretty crazy heights armed with multiple cameras and a walky-talky to capture some dramatic and beautiful couple’s portraits. Beyond being an incredible photographer, Nadia is one of the most genuine and kind people I’ve met. She has a knack for keeping elopement/wedding day energy light and helping her clients feel natural in front of the camera. My partner and I truly felt like models. I feel so blessed to have our wedding photographed by her and, above all, be able to call her a friend. I would recommend Nadia at Venture Ever After to everyone planning an elopement, wedding, or adventure in the PNW. In fact, I hope to be able to visit her and capture anniversaries and momentous occasions for our family long into the future.

To all couples reading this: You need someone you can trust to be a calm center to your wedding day. I met Mina on a recent wedding and wanted to testify to her skills. As an experienced wedding videographer who has worked over 500 weddings I knew when I met Mina that this wedding day was going to be smooth sailing. As the day unfolded, her coordination kept everyone in the loop, gave us all time to breathe, transition, and regroup! I can easily recommend Mina to anyone looking for an detailed, and carefully run wedding day. She was as friendly as she was professional, and didn't skip a beat. I changed my mind about the aesthetics multiple times and never fully knew what I wanted. Luckily, Robyn patiently checked in with me, helped make suggestions, and was able to capture the spirit I had difficulty conveying. The arrangements they created not only photographed beautifully but were even more impressive in person! If I have another formal event, I would call upon Songbird Floristry in a heartbeat to add an abundance of "wow" with their beautiful flowers :)

️️️️️ A Dream Come True – The Perfect LOTR Wedding! We had our wedding at Lavender Owl Farm, and we truly could not have asked for a more magical experience. From the beginning, Lesley and Melissa went above and beyond to make our wedding everything we dreamed of—and more. Our theme was The Lord of the Rings, and Lesley (the owner and officiant) created the most beautiful and heartfelt ceremony, filled with meaningful Tolkien references and touches of nerd culture that made it feel personal, unique, and unforgettable. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. Surrounded by nature, every corner feels alive with beauty. You can see how everything was built with respect and love for the land, blending harmoniously with the trees and natural landscape. It’s not only stunning—it’s also very accessible and thoughtfully designed. They also took care of the decor, setup, and all venue services, which allowed us to relax and truly enjoy the day. The bridal suite was cozy, elegant, and comfortable—perfect for preparing and spending quiet moments before the ceremony. Everything flowed perfectly, every detail was handled with care, and the result was even better than we ever imagined. Lavender Owl Farm didn’t just host our wedding—they brought our fantasy to life. Thank you, Lesley and Melissa, for making it absolutely perfect. You truly outdid yourselves.

Weddings are my happy place, and I bring heart, hustle, and a whole lot of love to every celebration.

Hiring a coordinator was among the best decisions we made for our wedding. It simplified our planning, clarified what we actually wanted, gave us a trusted voice amidst aaaaall the advice out there (solicited and not solicited!), and made us feel like someone had our back for anything unexpected (like, of course, a torrential downpour as we walked into our reception). Brit and her colleague Georgette were both absolute pros who were kind, professional, collaborative, and decisive. I can't recommend them enough.
