“Rex and I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Bella Ballroom and specifically, our instructor Thomas! We wanted our first dance to have structure and feel special but didn’t want it to look overly choreographed or forced. Thomas understood that balance perfectly and helped us put together a dance that felt natural, fun, and true to us. He quickly learned our dance experience and comfort levels and adapted his pointers and advice accordingly. By the time our big day came around we were confident and so happy with how it turned out. I also did one lesson with my dad for our father daughter dance and Thomas made sure even with just the one 45 minute session we had a simple but amazing series of steps to use that came together beautifully on the day. “He served as out DJ and MC but brought along Joey C to co-MC. With Lon on the mic and a second host working the crowd, the whole night had that high-energy club feel. The lighting, projectors and fog machines were fantastic, and he even created a "dancing on the clouds" effect for us. Our first dance as newlyweds felt truly magical. This is a DJ who genuinely wants you and your guests to have an incredible time, and he'll go the extra mile to make that happen. Lon exceeded every expectation, and it's obvious he loves what he does. Here's a comparison that really illustrates the difference between a great DJ and a bad one. The bad DJ (from a company with 500 reviews across Yelp, Thumbtack and other platforms): Two months before our wedding, we went to a friend's wedding handled by a different DJ, and it was a letdown. Despite receiving a list of requested songs - he ignored most of it. Rather than engaging with the guests, he mostly just hit play and disappeared to flirt with one of the servers. He'd also told the couple he wouldn't guest requests, yet caved every time someone approached him. By the end of the night, several songs had repeated two or three times. It makes you wonder if some of these companies pay to be featured on booking platforms and use that leverage to get negative reviews taken down. We later learned that the company had hired this DJ through Offerup for just 300 - clearly inexperienced. Do your research before booking a DJ. Some of these companies care more about profit than about whether their clients actually have a good time. The Great DJ - DJ Lon Lee: My husband and I have wide-ranging musical taste - EDM, R&B, Hip-Hop, Indie Rock, Cumbias, Reggaeton and more. As a bride who wanted every single song we asked for, respected our "must play" and "do not play" lists completely, and transitioned between them so smoothly it was unlike anything I'd heard at a wedding before. Whether it was the ceremony, recessional, entrances, cake cutting, dances, or the final song of the night, every cue landed exactly when it should have. I've already sent five friends who are planning their own weddings his way, and I'd hire him again without hesitation. One last story that sums up the night perfectly: several guests came to say their goodbyes at different points, only for us to spot them still dancing 30, 45, even an hour later. When I asked why they hadn't left yet, they told me "We couldn't, the songs were too good." Thank you, Lon, for helping make our day perfect.”

“We were given Simply Sweet Cakery as one of the bakery options through Wedgewood Weddings. After trying their sample cakes and desserts, I was very excited to select them for our wedding to make a small 2-tier cake and dessert bar for our guests. Our guests raved about all the desserts (cookies, mini cupcakes, bars) and I was very happy with our cake flavor selection (Vanilla with Raspberry Chantilly cream & Strawberry with Vanilla Chantilly cream)! The only reason I removed one star is because I had a vision for the cake, that was shared with the team via email (and rough photo attached here), but it did not end up as I had expected. I purchased a LEGO cake topper off of Etsy, and wanted to tie in LEGO florals and succulents instead of using our fresh florals. I provided a bag of pre-assembled orchids and succulents to place around the cake, but was surprised to see only one of each displayed, making the cake look very plain. I did say it could be adjusted from my suggestion, but I didn't expect that to mean more than half of the parts would be removed. So I think just having a means to communicate day-of, if something is that different, to confirm the couple is happy with the finished product would be helpful in the future. We planned an intimate ceremony at Crystal Cove on Saturday night and then a reception party Sunday afternoon. From our initial consultation call, Kelly was eager and excited to help bring our visions to life. Kelly was super prompt and clear with communication. She didn’t overwhelm us and offered her insight and expertise to help us develop timelines that were complete and met our needs and goals. I had no stress about logistics leading up to the weekend. Both the ceremony and the reception could not have been more perfect! “Working with Karl was a dream! He was communicative (we went back and forth on whether we’d want a videographer and he suggested a few things to consider and recommended a colleague for us too), flexible (we kept changing our engagement photo shoot date due to work and he was so accommodating), and cool (I mean he has a satellite phone for his remote shoots, how cool is that!). Such a great mix of encouraging and fun to get us to look natural in the pics. He had a great way of suggesting some poses everyone wants pics of to start, then catch us in between for the most Real shots. Then at the wedding he was perfect at remembering to get all the special ask pictures we knew we wanted, but also all the ones we wouldn’t have thought to ask for. He went way above and beyond on delivering! Karl beautifully captured everything we wanted our wedding to be.. our faith, love, family, friendships, fun… What caught our eye first in scrolling through his website portfolio was how Karl uses the scenery to tell a story with his photography. That meant the world to us because our venue (camp!) was a huge part of our lives and he was able to make this piece of our story so clear through his framing and editing for focus in each picture. Reading the FAQ we were stoked to read Karl say he "would rather have shots of the two of you sharing a moment you can never get back, then a 73rd shot of the candles". We’re not one much for taking pictures, so learning he’d be so intentional about his pictures was encouraging! And, in every single picture we got back, Karl more than delivered on that promise — he caught the twinkle in our eyes, our guests having the time of their lives on the dancefloor, and the spirit of camp, without us even having a thought about picture fatigue. TLDR: 15/10 recommend Karl for any photography! Looking forward to the next time we’ll be able to work together.”

“I am a bride who booked Fete The Venue for my wedding reception in November of 2025 and I am so excited to have this space to celebrate our special day! The venue itself is breathtaking. It has a very modern, industrial vibe with white interior walls, which flows so well with all types of color schemes and decor. The Fete Team has been so incredibly helpful through my whole planning process. They plan multiple meetings to go over logistics and answer emails same day. We love quick responses!! I’m so excited to use their bridal suite to get ready with all my girls and relax before the nerves set in, lol! We are also hosting our Cocktail Hour at Fete and their outside courtyard is perfect. I wanted something outside and it comfortably fits my guest count (200), outdoor games, cocktail tables, a welcome table, and so much more. My parents don’t have professional photos of their wedding. It’s ironic being that I photograph weddings for a living. Long story short, my Grandfather hired a distant cousin as their wedding photographer, his customer service was beyond subpar and pricing was vague. He eventually went out of business and apparently took the photos down with him. It’s a sad story but it is something that fuels my mission as a wedding photographer. To give my clients a memorable experience from the first Zoom meeting to the delivery of their gallery and beyond.
