I cannot recommend Flowers by Melis enough - she is truly one of my absolute favorite florists to work with! As a planner who specializes in weird, niche, nerdy, and themed weddings, it’s so important for me to collaborate with vendors who are not only talented, but also open-minded and creative—and Melissa is exactly that. She consistently goes above and beyond to bring unique visions to life, no matter how out-of-the-box the concept may be. And even if the wedding/event is more traditional, she will create absolutely stunning arrangements! She’s incredibly kind, collaborative, and genuinely cares about both her clients and her vendor partners. On top of that, her work is absolutely stunning; every arrangement is thoughtful, intentional, and beautifully executed. One of the things I appreciate most is how she works with a variety of budgets. Her pricing is fair and accessible, and she’s amazing at meeting clients where they’re at while still offering thoughtful recommendations to maximize their vision. She’s also a fantastic communicator and just an all-around joy to work with. If any issues come up, she handles them with professionalism and care, always doing everything she can to make it right. Truly, if you’re looking for a florist who is talented, flexible, and an incredible collaborator—Flowers by Melis is it.

Jaycee was absolutely amazing for my wedding day! Her communication was great, easy, and quick from start to finish. The quality of her work was truly incredible - my hair and makeup lasted all day, even through my ugly crying fits (I cried 3 times!), and I received so many compliments. I even changed my hairstyle last minute due to weather changes, and Jaycee was able to do it just like I wanted. Her assistant Mary was so sweet and did an amazing job as well. I cannot recommend Jaycee enough for any bride looking for beauty professionals that will help make your special day perfect!

Where do I even begin?! When my husband and I got engaged December of 2019, the first thing I did was book Carmen to be our photographer. I always knew that I wanted her to capture our special day because her work is so incredible! Unfortunately, our plans for a big wedding changed after COVID but we didn't want to pass up on the opportunity to have our love captured, so we decided to elope and it was the best decision ever! Carmen was so understanding about the whole thing and provided us with a number of local vendors for our Joshua Tree elopement. And when the day finally came, we were blown away by the experience! My husband and I peg ourselves to be pretty awkward people especially when people take our photos but Carmen made us feel so comfortable. She had to direct us a bit in the beginning because we didn't know what we were doing haha but that day was everything we could ever dream of. We keep going back and reminiscing about that day because we had so much fun! And when we finally got our gallery, we were blow away by how beautiful the photos came out! We're still trying to figure out which photos to print out and put up on our walls because there's just so many good shots to choose from! Again, thank you soooo much for capturing our special day and thank you for hanging out with us and eating 'zzaaa! You're amazing! These are photos that we'll look back on and cherish forever!

While planning my daughter’s wedding, I knew I needed a Day-of Coordinator to assist with the final weeks and the day of the wedding. I thank my lucky stars for asking Courtney Stammler of Enchanted Events to be my wedding coordinator. From the moment I hired her, I felt completely confident in her organizational skills, her professionalism, and her creativity. Courtney and her team were truly the dream team. She suggested ideas that I wouldn’t have thought of on my own. She followed up on every detail with the vendors, the venue, and the church. She and her team also helped me with the rehearsal dinner/family reunion which went so smoothly and gave me time to be with family members who came from all over the world. Courtney and her team at Enchanted Events offered me the help and guidance that I exactly needed. I could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator than Courtney Stammler who made sure the day of the wedding went smoothly. As the mother of the bride, I did not have to worry about anything on the day of the wedding. Thank you Courtney for everything you and your team did for our daughter’s wedding: it couldn’t have been better! Barbara J.

Long Beach, CA

Photography is my creative dream come true and it is so incredibly special to be able to capture memories that other people will love and cherish for many, many years. Around high school, I found out for myself how important these memories were. Not just the ones I was creating currently but the ones that I couldn’t get back. I would look back on these photos and think, "I remember how happy I was that day." "Aww, my little brother was so tiny then!" Or even, "What was I thinking when I wore that outfit??" These little snippets of time carried such a significance for me that I wanted other people to feel that way about their memories, too.

Amanda was an absolute dream to work with. My wife and I found her through a friend after seeing the beautiful shoots/ weddings she's done previously. Amanda worked with our budget, captured our most beautiful moments, and was the best hype woman! She made us feel and look good, which was important to us on our big day. She also sent us an ornament for the holidays that had one of our favorite pictures on it--which was the cutest! Highly recommend her for your wedding if you are looking for someone professional, lovely to work with, and great pictures for a lifetime!

Hey there, I'm Rick! I'm a wedding, family, and portrait photographer based in Long Beach, California, shooting across LA and Orange County since 2018. My work blends stylized editorial portraits with real, documentary moments depending on what the day calls for. My editing is clean and natural: accurate skin tones, true to life color, and timeless. I also love black and white for the moments that hit harder without color. No need to overthink it. Just be present, enjoy the day, and I'll handle everything else. I'd love to meet you!

My husband and I are beyond grateful that we chose Rick to capture our wedding and engagement photos! He was such a pleasure to work with and is so incredibly organized, friendly, and helpful with posing and capturing our authentic selves. Our photos are breathtakingly beautiful and that comes from Rick's magic behind the camera. I recommend him to all my friends and will be a lifetime customer as he does family portraits too!

  • Beauty professional

We are skilled pro hair and makeup artists that have formed a full team in the Los Angeles area providing services that are fully mobile. We will travel anywhere the client needs us. We feel when you look beautiful you feel beautiful. Most women want to look like the best version of themselves. Whether that is highlighting a woman’s natural look or being glammed up and camera ready. Using a wide variety of professional makeup one of our favorites is the airbrush foundation. We feel the best beauty combination is looking fresh and flawless. It is also very important to be able to cater to all ages and all complexions.

Seriously the nicest people you will meet and so sweet. I don't know anything about makeup and, probably like most brides, was apprehensive about having too much make up and not looking like myself. But they know their stuff! They did my, my mom's, and my bridesmaids make up and we all look like extra beautiful versions of ourselves. Without even our input they knew what would look best on us and how to match our skin tones and what colors worked best. The photos look amazing. They traveled to our location outside of Long Beach and got us all done in a quick and timely manner. Totally worth it, book them!

My name is Sarahi. Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Since a child, I loved photographing with old polaroids and disposable cameras.. My family used to complain about the 100's of pictures I captured and how many rolls of film I used. Now, I look back at pictures from 10+ years ago, and see the beauty of "stopping time" in photos and keeping them forever. I see how it brings happiness to the people around me and myself. Nothing makes me happier than people looking back at precious memories. I can't wait to extend this experience to you and create an everlasting memory that you can carry for years to follow.

I recently had the privilege of participating in a portrait session with Sarahi, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the outset, her professionalism and warm demeanor established a relaxed atmosphere for both myself and my fiance. Sarahi invested time in comprehending our vision and offered valuable guidance to elevate the overall outcome. The communication with Sarahi flowed effortlessly, and she adhered to deadlines with precision, further solidifying the positive overall experience. I wholeheartedly endorse SarahiPhoto for anyone in search of a portrait session that seamlessly blends expert craftsmanship with a considerate and cooperative approach. DJ Pace Entertainment

  • DJ
  • Starts at $750

I have been a professionally trained wedding DJ since 2012, and as of 2013 had done 20 weddings my first year, and well over 100 now, approaching 200. I have done fewer weddings since covid, and this gone from my primary source of employment to a secondary source, leaving me plenty of time and availability, because I simply do not book every weekend. I hope to both get and give off a good vibe to clients I choose to work with, who, in turn, also choose me as their DJ. I have all the equipment needed to DJ a wedding anywhere that is near a power source. I can include dance lights, uplighting, at additional rates.

We have worked with DJ Pace Entertainment several times and like to call him our "house DJ" at this point. He is the first person I call after I set any party / celebration date. He exceeds our expectations every time... and knows exactly how to get the crowd going no matter how diverse. We have worked with him for parties with our friends, office karaoke parties and for my mother's 80th birthday party which even required him to mix so many genres of music together I thought it would be impossible. We especially love working with him because he can seamless go from karaoke DJ to regular DJ so the crowd is always entertained. DJ Pace brings an incredible energy and vibe that makes any event a success. We would recommend him for your wedding or special occasion.

We recently had our wedding at Recreation Park 18 (Big Rec), and it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. From the very first time we toured the venue, I loved it immediately. The layout is perfect — having the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one location made the entire day feel seamless and easy for both us and our guests. Our dogs were able to be a part of the ceremony and that was SO FUN! We also had access to the ceremony space throughout the night, which allowed us to set up lawn games and gave everyone extra space to relax and enjoy themselves. The bridal suite was cute, clean, spacious, and the perfect place to get ready. We opted to have champagne and snack trays in the room, and it was set up beautifully when we arrived. Honestly, it was the little details throughout the entire process that made such a difference. The food was absolutely incredible. Almost every guest we’ve spoken to since the wedding has mentioned how delicious everything was. The staff was equally amazing. Myra and the entire event team were so kind, attentive, and organized. They moved with such a sense of purpose all day, and I always felt like we were in good hands. One thing I especially appreciated was that they made sure my dinner was brought to me right when I actually had a chance to sit down and eat, so it was still hot, and they made sure my water glass stayed full all night long. Small things like that really showed how much they cared and paid attention. We also didn’t hire a wedding coordinator, but between our DJ, Sadie, and Myra, everything flowed so smoothly and completely according to plan. I never felt stressed or confused about what was happening next. I also want to mention how impressed I was with the transition between event directors. We had originally been planning with Tawnya for most of the process, and about a month before the wedding we learned she would be leaving and Sadie would be taking over. From our perspective, the transition could not have gone more smoothly. There was absolutely no lapse in communication or service. Sadie knew every detail and picked up right where Tawnya left off, which made us feel so supported during such an important time. Big Rec gave us such an amazing wedding day and memories we will cherish forever. Everything looked beautiful, the staff was exceptional, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wedding space with an incredible team behind it.

Erin Paris Portraits
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
Long Beach, CA
  • Photographer
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $3,000

Weddings are rare opportunities to create meaning and magic for ourselves and the people we love, and that belief sits at the heart of my work. I take a holistic approach, starting with who you are and what you value, then helping shape a day that feels as beautiful as it looks, in whatever way is right for you. While photography is my focus, my background includes planning, coordination, and officiation, giving me a deep understanding of how weddings truly unfold. This perspective enhances every style of wedding, from timeless traditions to thoughtfully non-traditional celebrations.

I remember at the end of the day, being so overwhelmed with gratitude for Erin that my eyes overflowed with tears. As she is someone that has had so much experience with weddings, she absolutely played a critical role in prompting us to consider different things that she was able to anticipate that we had yet to imagine might be something of importance. I soo appreciated the way that she encouraged my spouse and I to turn our attention towards each other and gave us space and time to really absorb the events of our wedding day. I didn't feel like a number in a ledger when it came to her, but that she was there to be attentive to the thoughts and desires of our deepest selves. She was full of ideas and was so great with getting our nieces to look at camera for photos. (twin girls that were about two at the time) I want to print ALL of the pictures but have had to use some restraint as they are all so lovely. Her work exceeded my expectations and I would recommend her to anyone looking to have a similar experience and so many lovely photos to cherish forever. Thank you Erin! 3

Born in the desert (AZ Baby!) and relocated to the sea. I firmly believe that a good day starts with a cup of coffee and ends with glass of red wine. I own more jewelry than I do clothes and in my opinion, too much gold does not exist. My biggest passion will always be photography. I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was a little girl – I would even set up “stylized shoots” in my family’s living room that consisted of sheets pinned to the wall, my friends and fake flowers (embarrassing, but I’m not kidding!). I strive for those editorial, Vogue-like shots, but I really live for those private, in-between moments.

As a wedding planner, I get the opportunity to work with many photographers. BY FAR, Kristina Lee Photography is my all-time favorite! Not only does she have an artistic eye for capturing moments, but she also makes the couples feel comfortable and relaxed. Kristina also is a team player with the rest of the vendors. Her turn around time for images is like no other. The generosity of what she pours into her craft and service is admirable! Kristina is both professional and playful which clients love and trust! I have no hesitation in recommending Kristina Lee Photography. As a matter of fact, I highly encourage it! You'll have the best pictures with the most delightful photographer!
