Hey there! I'm Paul, a husband to my high school sweetheart, a proud father of three, and always up for a new adventure. These roles deeply shape my passion for capturing genuine human connection through my documentary wedding and lifestyle photography. While I'm based in Southern California, my love for unique stories takes me wherever your celebration unfolds. I'm here for those who truly value authenticity, couples and families looking for their story to be told with intention and a deep understanding of what makes their connections special. I believe your life's biggest milestones are meant to be relived, not just remembered.

“Paul was a great photographer. He was helpful, timely, creative and calm. Before hand he was super helpful and walked us through the process of booking and formulating our vision for the wedding. He also helped a lot with the timeline of everything. On wedding day he was super calm and helpful. He was really good at keeping us on track throughout the day and picking locations for photos. He made sure we got the shots that were most important for us and getting candid shots throughout the night. Overall he was lovely to work with and i would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.”

Carmelisse Photography

Long Beach, CA

  • Starts at $6,550

Hi I'm Carmelisse. I'm an intimate wedding & elopement photographer based in Los Angeles. I have a gift for making people comfortable and seeing the beauty in all diverse people. I want nothing more than to tell your love story right.

Awarded Best of Zola
“PSA: Attention all future lovers, hire Carmelisse to capture your best day ever! I have been a huge fan of Carmelisse for years and have followed her in hopes and dreams to have her as our photographer for our wedding, which *fast forward* came true! To showcase her sweet demeanor, she sent us a survey to get to know us as partners and understand our vision. For our engagement shoot, she made us feel comfortable as she played music, helped us pose, and prompted us to flirt with one another to get a great shot. At the end of the night, as it was reaching golden hour in the mountains, Carmelisse brought us a bottle of champagne to toast to our love and photographed us slow dancing as the sun was setting, a core memory that we will never forget. Carmelisse exemplifies herself as an unofficial bridesmaid and I can attest to that! Personally, I did not have a wedding planner since the venue came with a day of coordinator. Leading up to the big day, I confided to Carmelisse about the order of events and details. Similar to the engagement shoot survey, she was intentional and sent us another survey to understand our wants for the wedding day. Until this day, my husband and I credit Carmelisse and her teammate, John, for keeping our timeline in order because without their professionalism we would’ve been lost. Throughout the day, Carmelisse and John kept us calm and collected with all the emotions of the day. In addition, Carmelisse handled our photo booth, which was excellent quality and our family loved the fact they could do gifs and save the photos directly on their phones. All in all, they were our hype people, our comfort, and helped us live in the moment and enjoy the best day. Carmelisse is our number-one recommendation for any occasion! She is literally an angel and a true artist in her craft. Thank you so much, Carmelisse! I will keep on preaching your brand until the end of time.”

Photography is my creative dream come true and it is so incredibly special to be able to capture memories that other people will love and cherish for many, many years. Around high school, I found out for myself how important these memories were. Not just the ones I was creating currently but the ones that I couldn’t get back. I would look back on these photos and think, "I remember how happy I was that day." "Aww, my little brother was so tiny then!" Or even, "What was I thinking when I wore that outfit??" These little snippets of time carried such a significance for me that I wanted other people to feel that way about their memories, too.

“Amanda is AMAZING! She is so sweet and fun. My husband and I are no models, but she helped our quirky selves relax, pose, and take beautiful photos. From the engagement session at the beach with our surfboards to our pandemic mini-money. She really knows what she is doing and we are so thankful she has been with us to document our most special day. :}”

My name is Sarahi. Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Since a child, I loved photographing with old polaroids and disposable cameras.. My family used to complain about the 100's of pictures I captured and how many rolls of film I used. Now, I look back at pictures from 10+ years ago, and see the beauty of "stopping time" in photos and keeping them forever. I see how it brings happiness to the people around me and myself. Nothing makes me happier than people looking back at precious memories. I can't wait to extend this experience to you and create an everlasting memory that you can carry for years to follow.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Sarahi was so sweet and open in our consultation. We knew from the start that she was the photographer we needed. It was the first consultation with a photographer in which we did not feel pushed to book or left with any questions. She told us what to expect and and gave us advice if we decided not to book her! During the wedding she was so Kind and was able to keep my crazy family on check and participate in photos! We loved her and loved the photos!”

Weddings are rare opportunities to create meaning and magic for ourselves and the people we love, and that belief sits at the heart of my work. I take a holistic approach, starting with who you are and what you value, then helping shape a day that feels as beautiful as it looks, in whatever way is right for you. While photography is my focus, my background includes planning, coordination, and officiation, giving me a deep understanding of how weddings truly unfold. This perspective enhances every style of wedding, from timeless traditions to thoughtfully non-traditional celebrations.

“Erin is an amazing photographer and perfectly captured our wedding in Mexico. From planning the ceremony layout and timing to snapping pictures for almost 10 hours on our wedding day, Erin was easy and fun to work with and super detail oriented. She didn’t miss a single important moment, and our pictures turned out amazing. She’s such a joy to be around that all of our guests became friends with Erin too. She took away a lot of stress and helped us just enjoy our special day and celebrate without worry. We absolutely love the pictures we received from Erin. And months later when I shared them with a friend, she said she thought they were literally the best wedding photos she’d ever seen. Highly recommend working with Erin for your wedding, you will be glad you did!”

James Korin Photography was recommended to me by a friend whose sister used them for her wedding day. The quality of the photos are awesome. A lot of photos nowadays are super contrasted or look like a preset threw up on them, but James Korin photos are timeless and beautiful — not trendy preset photos. Our wedding photos are beautiful! Thank you!”

Born in the desert (AZ Baby!) and relocated to the sea. I firmly believe that a good day starts with a cup of coffee and ends with glass of red wine. I own more jewelry than I do clothes and in my opinion, too much gold does not exist. My biggest passion will always be photography. I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was a little girl – I would even set up “stylized shoots” in my family’s living room that consisted of sheets pinned to the wall, my friends and fake flowers (embarrassing, but I’m not kidding!). I strive for those editorial, Vogue-like shots, but I really live for those private, in-between moments.

Awarded Best of Zola
“As a wedding planner, I get the opportunity to work with many photographers. BY FAR, Kristina Lee Photography is my all-time favorite! Not only does she have an artistic eye for capturing moments, but she also makes the couples feel comfortable and relaxed. Kristina also is a team player with the rest of the vendors. Her turn around time for images is like no other. The generosity of what she pours into her craft and service is admirable! Kristina is both professional and playful which clients love and trust! I have no hesitation in recommending Kristina Lee Photography. As a matter of fact, I highly encourage it! You'll have the best pictures with the most delightful photographer!”

I live in Long Beach with my husband, and our beautiful dog-daughter Rita. If I'm not photographing my incredible clients, I'm watching any entertainment I can, from the latest HBO shows or movie releases. But, there's nothing better than drinking a beer and laughing at some quality reality television if you ask me! I also love reading while drinking coffee in the morning, but nothing tops hanging with my friends and family, enjoying some drinks and sharing some laughs.

“My fiance and I were lucky enough to have Kathy photograph us for our engagement shoot and I cannot stress enough how incredible she was from beginning to end! Kathy is extremely personable and she works with the utmost level of professionalism. She checked in with us about a week prior to our shoot just to confirm and get as many additional details as possible. We had some questions re: outfits and she was more than happy to answer our questions and provide us with recommendations as to what would capture best/be best for the look we were going for. Prior to our photo shoot, Kathy scoped out our location in order to provide us with ideas re: the best places/positions to shoot in order to achieve the vision we both had. While shooting, she makes you feel completely comfortable and at ease - which made our job SO much easier! Kathy provided us with our finished pictures in no time at all - and we were in love with her work! She 100% captured the vision we were going for and we could not be any more thrilled with the way they turned out. Kathy - you are the best and we are so thankful for your work, as we now have these memories captured to enjoy for a lifetime :) Thanks again! Xo Jonathan & Lee”

Hi you guys, my name's Natalie, & I'm so glad you're here! I’m a joy-filled, Southern California surfer girl who is in love with capturing weddings.  My style? It’s timeless, romantic, adventuresome, & personal. I’m dedicated to capturing fine elegance + raw beauty all the while keeping it real + being authentic. Your job is to be in love & live in that excitement with each other. My job is to make it easy + enjoyable for you two to be yourselves, 100%, as I frame and capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments in a way that only my mind can. Congratulations to you both! Looking forward to getting to know each other! xx Natalie

“Natalie is the most professional, genuine, and talented wedding photographer. I promise you that you cannot and simply will not find a lovelier, more generous, or more brilliant person to help you sidestep stress and make the wedding planning process and wedding day a joy. At our wedding, three different people asked me if I'd later share her contact information with them for whenever they got married. Just think about that for a moment: three people were so blown away by Natalie's warmth, energy, and beautiful, bubbly personality that they would hire her on the spot without having yet seen her stunning work and even though they weren't engaged. Natalie's smile brightens up an entire room, and she has a truly remarkable way of making everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. She'll make you laugh, she'll keep your energy up, she'll capture the moments you dreamed would one day hang on your walls, and most of all, she will make you feel like your day, your marriage, and your love are the center of the entire world. This gift of her presence and love is extraordinary, and I promise you that it extends beyond anything you could ever hope or expect to receive from any wedding vendor. I cried when she sent us our photos because they are so profoundly beautiful and so full of the true emotion that she naturally drew from even the most reserved of our family members. Every photo was so natural and full of light and joy. Natalie has so much talent, and if you're one of her brides you'll quickly realize how lucky you are to have someone care so deeply about you and about capturing your special day. Before our wedding, Natalie spoke with me over email and on the phone, sent a thoughtful questionnaire to help us articulate our aesthetic and photography hopes, sent a quick engagement gift, and even checked in over text to make sure I was doing well the week before the wedding. After the wedding, she sent cute thank you gifts and GORGEOUS photos (you will love yours too!). But my favorite memory will always be from our wedding day when she took a moment to dance with my shy 5 year old nephew and draw him out of his shell so he could enjoy the party. The huge smile on his face will always be one of my most precious moments of our wedding day. My nephew, like so many of our guests, still ask about Natalie all the time. It was a pleasure to work with Natalie and to get to know her, and I hope you too will be fortunate to experience Natalie's light, love, and unparalleled talent.”

At the heart of everything I do is the belief that art has the power to transform and connect. My style blends authenticity with artistry, capturing both grand milestones and quiet, fleeting moments. Beyond photography, I’m a musician, theater artist, and yoga teacher—creative practices that fuel my vision behind the lens.
